Denver's airport is *massive* for something that was built from scratch in the 1990s (it used to be a lot closer to Denver until they built a new one).
Thank you for a splendid video ! I really like the A220, and it’s good to see it selling so well. Delta is a “class” airline , and it is amazing to see the variety of aircraft types in their fleet ! Many thanks.
I really love your videos. I highlight how well organized they are, showing the planes on the runway with arrivals and respective destinations, the service on board and the landscape. I loved this video of the turbulence. Greetings from the southern tip of the world, land of Latam Airlines.
Aww...too bad you hit bad weather, mate. Be thankful that you were on such an awesome plane. The A220 is such an amazing little bird! Thank you, 🇨🇦! What a top job you did with that thing! Greetings from Germany
Nice video! That happened to me last month on a UA 777 from Milan to Newark. Fairly smooth flight, a few lump and bumps, here and there. But near Albany NY, we had to poke our way around some cumulonimbus clouds. I’ve been on 300+ flights, but those five minutes really shook up everyone, literally!
One thing the mountain range you've mentioned as Provo mountains is called Mount Timpanogos 3570 m and is the second highest peak of the Wasatch mountain range in Utah. I went to College in Utah.
Yeah, sadly I was just for connecting at Denver airport. It was really nice. I would like to go therw again. Soon I'll upload a LAX-DEN on the United B757 😎✈️
Cool video. Just FYI, you took off to the south. The city of Denver and the mountains were West of you on your right side which is why your turned right heading towards SLC :)
thank you for this. Love videos featuring DEN, BTW you took off on runway 17L not 8. Note the control tower on the right and the terminal on the left which means you're taking off to the south. If you turned left after takeoff you would be headed for Atlanta :-) Denver has few noise restrictions...
Just had first A220 flight on Delta. Fantastic aircraft. Pilot spent first hour dodging clouds wherever possible. Even at 39,000ft. We’ll fly it and Delta again.
Great video. Looks like not a full flight? I guess the 3-2 seating arrangement doesn’t make for an uneven distribution of weight on one side? I would still like to see a plane with 2-2 all the way back. It would be so much more comfortable and prevent from being squeezed in the middle seat.
Hola Lucas, qué tal has estado?. Bye
Meh. Mountain waves and cloud tops guarantees some chop out of Denver. I didn't hear a squeal or a dios mio out of anyone. It's never fun though! Best thing is to sit as far forward in the cabin and if it persists lean forward as best as possible. I always find a book between my knees is a good turbulence busting position :)
Saludos
Great video! Since SLC is my home airport, I've flown in and out MANY times, and 9 out of the 10; it always is turbulent and I love it. I did this Denver -> Salt Lake City route back before Delta had A220's on a United E-175 and we had Mild to Moderate turbulence. It was crazy fun!
IF you say that Denver airport follows typical US design, can you explain the swastika shape design, the giant blue horse with red eyes called Blucifer, and many other strange symbolism in the airport? Thank you. This is not a question to tickle a discussion, it's mostly because I'm highly interested why the shape and symbolism at the Denver airport. :) Cheers Great video BTW, thanks!
im going to be doing this flight here soon so it was cool to see, also you have some information you may want to correct, 6:10 the rwy wasnt 08 it was 17L. 7:45 you have your directions wrong, the direction you turned was toward the city not away but denver is so far away from the airport those reasonings are not really relevant. sorry for being one of those guys
I didn't know that Delta also flies with the A220. Recently I saw in the news that most of the B757 will be phased out and replaced by the B737-MAX10, and after a decade or so the new B797, still to be designed, will replace the MAX10. I like the little fueling trailer at 4:50 min. And also the long queue in front of the A220 door.

That is a beautiful plane
Continua com o excelente trabalho!!
It still amazes me how disruptive some clouds are when you fly through them. They appear like fluffy gentle puffs of cotton.
On top of that you have CAT clear air turbulence. Those happen with no clouds present and unfortunately they can't be really be detected.
I was flying into denver last year and some almost clear super puffy clouds tossed us around like it was nothing!
Honestly Clouds can cause more turbulence than cat, but neither are big deals
I never been on a A220 before but I watched a lot of A220 plane spotting before
So today is the perfect day to fly in one of them! ;)
yes
Wow, such a turbulent flight! The views on approach to Salt Lake though. Simply stunning! Looking forward to more USA videos =D
Them wings look familiar
Denver's airport is *massive* for something that was built from scratch in the 1990s (it used to be a lot closer to Denver until they built a new one).

Thank you for a splendid video ! I really like the A220, and it’s good to see it selling so well. Delta is a “class” airline
, and it is amazing to see the variety of aircraft types in their fleet ! Many thanks.
Great video for anyone who has never flown. You took them thru the whole process 😊
As ever, excellent video Lucas
I really love your videos. I highlight how well organized they are, showing the planes on the runway with arrivals and respective destinations, the service on board and the landscape. I loved this video of the turbulence. Greetings from the southern tip of the world, land of Latam Airlines.
It's a normal DL's shaking flight 😂😂😂.... Congrats again for the GREAT video and looking forward for the next one... Cheers mi amigo ✌
I really want to do more plane spotting after watching this! Great job Lucas!
haha Thanks, Jamie!
Next Sarturday we'll try the Iberia A350 busines class!
Enjoy the weekend!
Aww...too bad you hit bad weather, mate. Be thankful that you were on such an awesome plane. The A220 is such an amazing little bird! Thank you, 🇨🇦! What a top job you did with that thing!
Greetings from Germany
Siempre los veo gracias 🙏🏻 que linduras ✈️✈️🛫🛫
This is the first time that I see a video of the A-220. So, thank you very much!! I enjoyed!
Thanks so much!!
A disfrutar del finde!
Hate Turbulence, to me it allwas we geting somting to eat.Great job

And that was on a 777. Imagine the misery of the folks on E-175 or A220 that day.
Hi :) Very nice video. I enjoyed it very much. Seems like take-off from Denver was performed on runway 17L and not 08 ;)
Turbulence....phew!! Loved the new airport....
This is the best RUclipsr
Thanks for your kind words! :))
Your Welcome 👍
Beautiful scenery! Nice to see all the mountains :)
Sky team for life!!!
Great views and your videos give fab info, keep up the superb work.
One thing the mountain range you've mentioned as Provo mountains is called Mount Timpanogos 3570 m and is the second highest peak of the Wasatch mountain range in Utah. I went to College in Utah.
It rises 7,000 feet above the valley floor.
That is so interesting I’ve only seen screens in seats on international flights, never domestic. Pretty cool
Stunning report mate, so cool to be inside the A220, nice to Delta for giving some snacks and drinks before the flight!
Great information about the turbulence. Denver airport looks great. Love the A220. 👍😊💙✈️🛫
I don’t think I’ve ever flown in or out of Denver and not experience rough turbulence.
Vaya meneítos... y nadie gritaba jajajaja
Muy buen vídeo, como siempre. Gracias, Lucas...
Jajaja La gente no dijo absolutamente nada. Jaja
Thanks so much sir, your videos are very sharp, clear and exciting
Abraço do Porto
Missed opportunity in Denver to walk across the Bridge to take videos of the aircraft below!
Yeah, sadly I was just for connecting at Denver airport.
It was really nice. I would like to go therw again.
Soon I'll upload a LAX-DEN on the United B757 😎✈️
@@OnBoardHDCan you film some plane videos also in Romania with our new airline HiSky, please, i am begging you!!🙏🙏🙏
Very nice!👍And yes , the A220 is a fantastic plane😎I flew RIX-VIE in June on airBaltic's new Flagship✌
Fantastic Trip Report. Dropped a like and subscribed! :)
I LOVE the A220 IS the small @350
this is the better video that a had see, very instructive por student, rey
Gran video😄😄
finally a video on youtube where there are REALLY turbulences :D nice
haha thanks mate :)
There was a flight into Salt Lake City that was so turbulent, it sent three passengers and a flight attendant to the hospital.
The A220 must be the pretiest plane in the skies today! Nice one!
Airbus certainly gives Boeing a run for the money.
Just amazing journey. What a turbulence it was.
Cool video. Just FYI, you took off to the south. The city of Denver and the mountains were West of you on your right side which is why your turned right heading towards SLC :)
You actually departed from RWY 17L, but nice video!
My god isn't it a gorgeous aircraft
Very nice video. Thank you for sharing!
The A 330-200 from Eurowings Discover has a window on the toilet, too. First time, that I saw it. Nice to see it on another plane, too.
Love those 220s. That turbulence was light homie…
thank you for this. Love videos featuring DEN, BTW you took off on runway 17L not 8. Note the control tower on the right and the terminal on the left which means you're taking off to the south. If you turned left after takeoff you would be headed for Atlanta :-) Denver has few noise restrictions...
A very nacy aerport ,Amazeg . I'm Laércio from Florianópolis Brasil 👊
It is like always a great trip report. I have vever seen an airplane toilet with a window.
Truly a window seat.
Just had first A220 flight on Delta. Fantastic aircraft. Pilot spent first hour dodging clouds wherever possible. Even at 39,000ft. We’ll fly it and Delta again.
DELTA IS MY FAVOURITE AIRLINE
I also loved it, that we had a peak in the cockpit through the door when disembarking.
Good job mate 👍
Hi wow n wow nice landing Capt hahaha 😀🙏🏾🇵🇭✈️
Thanks for the great 👍 video
Great video.

My home airport for many years was Honolulu and landing into HNL is always turbulent as well due to the prevailing Tradewinds.
@@jeremims9044 Yeah, the one time I flew into HNL, it was pretty turbulent but we were in a 77W so it didn't affect us much.
Eso sí son turbulencias! Buena experiencia! =)
Muchas gracias, Caves!

That is my fear and I will be flying on a Delta A220-100 from San Antonio to LAX next month for my birthday

Airliners fly directly over Denver all the time.
A whole lotta shakin' goin' on!🙃
¡Wow!
I love everything about the A220, except its light airframe seems to not fare well against even the lightest turbulence.
Wow there is a window in the bathroom and the bathroom looks 5 stars
Nice :)
Look how the people MOVE inside, not people moves.
That your journey like the travel by bus from Baghdad to Mousl in IRAQ. Because the vibrations in the airplane !?.
Thanks again.
I've never flew on Delta before and I sure don't want to have to do with any air turbulence on board
Flying into SLC you will always encounter rough air on the descent
If not for @Delta there never would’ve been a A220, aircraft. Thanks @Delta
