Hola. Yo tuve la oportunidad de volar en 2016 la ruta más larga de Iberia a Santiago de Chile en dos de sus A340-600 que, por desgracia, ya no están operativos. Gran avión. Hermoso de estética y cómodo en su configuración en IB. Una gran experiencia en el último de los cuatrimotores clásicos.
El A340-600 ya solo queda en servicio con Lufthansa basicamente... por suerte lo tendremos en el canal antes de que termine el año! :D En cualquier caso, el de mañana será el A340-300, que tampoco está nada mal. Disfrutémoslos mientras aún sigan volando! :))

Which phone do you think is better the Samsung that you use to have or the Apple? Frankly, the one that you use to use a couple of years ago was very good. Just my opinion. Well, I was always using Samsung... until the S23 Ultra. That's the worst camera I've seen in years. Since then I had to revert initially to my old S21 Ultra, and then move to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
haha Yeah! It was a nice flight! There was just an unfortunate event in the middle of the Atlantic but everything was solved correctly. So great flight at the end! :))
PS I've not flown since the 80's what is the A340 like compared to the A380? Love to see the views from outside. I went to Paris as a teenager, can now see why itso busy!

3:40 Inner engines off (or single engine taxi for twin-engine aircraft) is done to save fuel and protect people and GSE on the ramp . Very common procedure , but you need to cooldown engines before - at least for 3 minutes , so sometimes it doesnt make any sense to shut them down, if the stand is really close after landing etc .

What advice can you give to someone who loves to travel, but is afraid of flying? I want to enjoy my trip from A to Z, but I can't get over the fact that I'm traped inside a metal tube that is floating so high, and I'm doomed.😢
Im really sorry that I cant help with that as I never had that problem... Airplane is the safest way of transport in the world... just try to relax and enjoy! There are millions of passengers every day in the world!

Correcto. Muy pocos años le quedan ya... por suerte ya tenemos confirmado un vuelo en el A340-600 de Lufthansa. Y sin duda, habrá más antes de su retirada ✈️✈️ PD: no se retira por viejo, se retira por ineficiente en consumo de combustible.
Enjoyable video, many thanks. What I particularly like about your channel is you let us see the scenery on route (window quality permitting), rather than talking all the time and showing very little scenery.
At some point stop requesting for leg rooms when flying in economy and not everybody is ready for paying much money for an air travel. Airline needs to be profitable by putting more seats in economy so less legroom or we all accept to pay a big amount of price for having space. Believe it or not just a row of 8-9 seats makes a great revenue yearly.

En el A340-300 sí he volado pero en el de IBERIA en 2016 con la ruta Panamá - Madrid, Madrid - Panamá y es buena la experiencia.

I know what a single-engine taxi is on a 2-engine airplane.
In the video, I explain why they taxi with the 2 inner ones off and not the outer ones.

I flew a340 edelweiss ZRH-PUJ in premium was not bad. Big legroom.
The front cabin are economy seats with extra legroom. Looking forward to that in my next trip :))

I find the S23/24 Ultra better in cab than the iPhone Pro Max
Not at all. I have them all and I can asure you the S23/S24 Ultra are trash for these videos.

@@OnBoardHD Por lo que sé en ese tipo de vuelos turísticos, la edad media de los pasajeros, suele ser bastante alta (jubilados de vacaciones), por ende los problemas médicos es algo frecuente :)

Well, BA does it in Gatwick. The onboard food is worse than the main flights from Heathrow and the plane cabins are generally older...
BA are part of IAG so you could argue that Vueling is their low cost carrier.

At some point stop requesting for leg rooms when flying in economy and not everybody is ready for paying much money for an air travel. Airline needs to be profitable by putting more seats in economy so less legroom or we all accept to pay a big amount of price for having space. Believe it or not just a row of 8-9 seats makes a great revenue yearly.
For that row to make money it needs to have passengers. If you don't offer good legroom the passengers will not fulfill them in the long-term.
@@OnBoardHDand exactly those two points, @blakelockridge6145 and yours make a sweetspot somewhere for airlines. Where passengers are willing to pay, and legroom is creating enough capacity for airlines.😅
