1 Year Progression on Clarinet

- So I spend a year learning the clarinet. I began the 25 May 2025 because I loved listening to my school wind orchestra. Then, why Clarinet... Well, I wanted to play a woodwind instrument and I noticed that the clarinet players were the ones who demonstrated the most discipline (that may only apply to my school).
This video is the result of hundreds of hours, of practicing at home, at school in the CEGEP (college), and even in my family's house when I had to move on. I really hope that this video could inspire even just one person to persevere regardless of what he wants to become better. Just work with discipline and seek way to enjoy life.
I have passed through a lot of different genres: Classical music, Klezmer, Dixieland, Tango, etc.
For those of you who want to see the progression in a timeline: there it is :

I apologize for the mistakes in English, It isn't my primary language.

DAMNN bro in a year you made so much progress, you have a great sound for only a year!
Thank you, very appreciated :-)
WHAT
YOU GREW SO MUCH IN JUST A YEAR
IT'S INSANE
WHAT!!????
Dang, you sound better than many musicians I know who have 5+ years of experience. We can all hear your dedication and passion for the instrument, congrats!
Evan! This is the first of your videos I have seen. Congratulations on making so much progress. It is truly impressive and inspiring. I admire and appreciate the work it took to document all of your hard work and fantastic results
Thank you very much, I try my best 😁
Ridiculous. You are an inspiration to us all.
Thanks, it mean a lot to me 🙂
They say after the age of 50, you learn 5 to 10 times slower. We have to be happy with our own pace.
I totally agree with you, the important is to continue playing and have fun 😁
Na i learn crazy fast, the power ADHA compels me as long as im having fun lol....
That is pretty insane in one year standing on a stage. How many hours per day did you practice?
Actually i'd say around 3 hours a day, sometimes more sometimes a little less
