1. Don't capture same magic as the cartoon version
2. Just cash grabs, no originality at all.
3. Updated for the "modern audience"
4. Pushing political agenda

I've read or heard that phrase a number of times. But somehow I don't understand it. I'm German and my English isn't the best.
"Don't need a Man", or
"Do need no Man", I would understand, but
"I don't need no man". I don't understand.
The "don't" is a negation, "do not need it"
And the "No Men". Also a negation.
Now that's two negations in one sentence. The rule is that two negations cancel each other out.
So the sentence "I don't need no man" actually means "I do need a man".

Beauty and the Beast (for the most part) is as faithful to the animated version as possible. Emma Watson has the charisma of a wooden spoon, but the movie was still decent.
My mother was a nurse who dealt with human tragedy and other horrors on a daily basis that would destroy the morality of any regular chad.
Strong women do exist, but their strenght isn't physical and I hate Disney for pretending it is.

I know I posted this on Drinker’s page but for real it baffles me how Snow White and the Huntsman is a better retelling. And they didn’t even hire actual little people as dwarves.
Heck now that I think of it, Huntsman Winter’s War is a better retelling of The Snow Queen than Frozen was, too.

I expect shareholders to seek legal recourse at some point, because intentionally making losses is a betrayal of fiduciary commitments by these leaders. They clearly are destroying the business for a political agenda, but they don’t actually have the right to do that when it’s other people’s retirement accounts funding their crusades.
Disney has devalued all of their assets at this point: the movie business, the theme parks, the cruise line, Disney Plus, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Disney Animation, Pixar, you name it. If it's not deliberate, it's incompetence on an epic scale.

That's the thing. It can be done, but it takes work and effort and dedication. Realistically, because the stories appeal to all people, that's why every culture makes their own stories based on these fairytales.
