In the middle of an alien attack too, I thought the picture set up was pretty stupid 😂 like why is he slowly getting dressed like he doesn’t want to go to work while lasers are being shot at the city behind him. People are dying! 💀
@@TheKhanMaestro Exactly! Velvety cape with plastic looking boots. Absolutely no concern on his face😆. I feel this picture was rushed to try and take some of the wind out of the sails with what's going on with Marvel. It fell completely flat💯
Gunnbots will say the stupidest stuff to defend their daddy. Superman doesn't have to be muscular? What?! 😵😵 This pic looks like someone used AI to generate an image of Corenswet in a CW jacket suit while the city gets destroyed all in one pic.
I mean yeah in that pic he doesn’t look super buff but if you’ve actually seen him than you’d know he’s jacked and also I’d rather deal with a gunnbot than a synderist any day
David is honestly pretty jacked. There were a few pictures released of him in the gym and I think one when he’s on the beach. He looks pretty muscular. I will say though, I don’t like the suit. I don’t like the new 52 collar, but I am happy they brought red trunks back. The rest sucks lol.
I’ve seen pictures of David now, and yes, he looks very fit and muscular. Before I reacted to this release photo, I had not previously seen those other pictures. Regardless of that, now that I have seen them, the suit does a terrible job of showing how muscular he is. He does not look like a muscular Superman with that suit on. I do like that they brought the trunks back, I just wish it all looked better than it does.
@@TheKhanMaestro I agree. They need to design a new suit for a sequel that shows off David’s physique more. This can’t be the one we have for the entire DCU.

This sucks right down to the design level. I hate everything about it. He's right cavels suit actually looked like a movie ready superman suit and don't get me wrong im not a snyder fan at all. But one thing he did get right is the overall look of thr characters. They were pretty much comic accurate. I dont know what this is supposed to be.

Yeah no. This suit is everything I wanted. To make it more like a suit then to make it like a second layer of skin that previous suits have been. This actually feels like a suit you would wear and that doesn’t seem almost impossible to put on. The S is form the kingdome come comic which this film will be influenced by a bit. It’s my favorite Superman symbol that doesn’t look like a New Times Roman S but actually a symbol that could be interpreted by humans to look like a stylished S. This suit shows this Superman to be a humble hero who doesn’t want attention because he doesn’t want to be viewed as a threat or a godlike alien. And also it’s not different blues in the suit or reds. The top of his suit is battle damaged and dirty. If you look at the symbol reveal then you can see it’s the same blue on the upper body as his legs. And that could very be the same case for his cape. And the collar is from the New 52 Superman. And I like the position he is in because it’s the most human thing and I love it. James Gunn did great🔥 And also David did bulk up a lot. There are plenty of pictures showing that he is huge. The suit just doesn’t show it too much which I like because yet again he looking too big can be viewed by people as some threatening which is the last thing he wants if you know anything about the character. So I understand why James did that. It’s different but it definitely works. Fair enough, to each their own I guess. At first I didn’t realize it was kingdom come Superman symbol, but even then, that symbol wouldn’t make much sense for a young Superman who is just starting off. He may have bulked up for the part, but in this particular picture, he doesn’t look like Superman to me. Henry had a much better muscle build for Superman and it always showed, with or without the suit. Also, I understand his upper body is supposed to be damaged and dirty, but if anything would have gotten dirty or damaged, it would be his boots. Between walking, running, kicking, and more during battle, his boots should not look that clean. So the colors and damage for me looked off and different than they should have been. They should have went for a Christopher Reeves style suit and colors, but got someone who was as muscular as Henry Cavill
@@TheKhanMaestro You are too fixated on him being as big as Henry Cavill. David got big for this role. And I mean BIG, Stop comparing him to Henry. This is a different version of Superman. And also you don’t know what caused the battle damage. Looks like he got hit by a blast on his chest. That would not damage his legs or make his legs dirty. Specially when he flies more than he runs when he is Superman. And also having the kingdom come symbol make sense. It has nothing to do with how experienced he is. And also he isn’t just starting off a Superman. He has been Superman for 1-3 years. It ain’t an origin story. It seems like you are trying to look for issues with this suit, actor and movie without fact checking how it is in comics first. But you do you. You just don’t seem like a Superman fan because it seems you don’t know much about the character.

Grow up and learn people can have different opinions about subjects, we all don’t have to agree with your opinions or takes. @@mightyzues89 didn’t know, because I didn’t expect it on a young Superman. Kingdom come Superman is much older and more experienced than this one is supposed to be, therefore it didn’t make sense. I just assumed it was a weird new symbol they were trying. Also, he does not look buff enough in this picture to be like the comic version of Superman that we have seen. Nice try though, stay mad. My opinion, you don’t like it, don’t comment and don’t watch.
The neck is from new 52 The hair style is owned by the original creators family David one is a Great suit to me I personally don’t like the man of steel one but I can respect your opinion I won’t bash on people that like the cavil one
It’s not that I fully like the man of steel one, it’s more of how the suit showed much more muscularity on Henry’s body. I want a buff looking Superman. I feel like the upper part of the suit looks bigger on David in this picture and doesn’t make Superman look buff
My favorite Superman of all time is Christopher Reeves Superman. The suit, the hair, the way he acted, his Clark Kent. Everything was amazing. If he had been as muscular looking as Henry’s Superman, he would have been the perfect comic accurate Superman
Better than nothing
Well anything is better than nothing, but they also could have done a little better in my opinion, especially compared to the detail and styles of the costumes from previous DC movies

Yeah, A lot of content creators, and some people who worked on the Snyder verse didn’t like it either. I just think the suit could have been better, especially because we have gotten better in the past
