Thanks for enlightening me about Too Good to Go. I found that my local bakery (a five minute walk from the house) has surprise bags valued at $18 for only $4. I’m excited to try them out!
Yum! I love butternut squash soup and I use the squash for pumpkin pie. I grow butternut squash in my container garden because I can't grow pumpkins where I live. Great deals! 😊
That great. My area in the northeast has this for a few pizza places and small restaurants and deli's. All are pick up late night, but did find out that a bagel shop near me has it for one hour in the early evening. Will have to try it out.
Wow... that's about NZ$100 worth of value there. Unfortunately we have zero competition in the supermarket arena in this country so our prices are outrageous. I'm paying NZ$10 for 400g of (premium) beef mince here (the regular stuff is just *so* fatty it's not funny).
Those are great boxes Karen, those rump steaks aren't cheap. I picked up a TGTG bag myself today from Morrisons containing 2 large choc chip muffins, 2 slices chocolate concrete, 2 bakewell slices, a chocolate monster cup cake and my favourite - a maple pecan Danish for £2.49.
Depends on the quality of the meat ,sell by date? don't by a lot of meat and generally eat It fresh on the day, but freeze cooked chilli and bolognaise.
You can freeze meat to cook later even if the use by date is the day you buy it A butcher told me that years ago snd I've been enjoying such meat which is always cheaper ever since I imagine Aldi just had too many getting close to that date Some of your stuff didn't excite me but the meat, soup stuff and mushrooms were good Worth buying for the money
After seeing your videos I also took up the too good to go app and personally was disappointed, most of the heron and Aldi was use by today, I picked them up at 9.45 at night, and most was fresh salad, use by today, I can't even freeze it. You either were very lucky, or this is a con. Sorry to sound negative.
I cant get over the Value Fabulous
Outstanding boxes, Karen!
Looks like you struck some gold there! Fantastic meals to make! What a blessing 🙏🏻
Wow! That is ten percent of what we'd pay here. Fantastic! I'm so happy for you.
I sure wish we had those in the states! Nice! 👍
Such amazing produce 🙌👍😮 and steak! What a score. Great job dear
Incredible. Looks like it's the way forward for all of us.
Very good value in those boxes -- and all that fresh produce, wow!
Man, I wish we had this sort of thing where I live. Awesome 👍
That is a month's worth of food! I'm writhing in jealousy! We have nothing like that here where I live in the U.S. Good for you!

Wrap the steaks individually xxxx
I got 15 bags of lettuce and a sandwich. Turns out it would
have cost me 50p less,(as was reduced,)had it not been in a box.
