You are totally awesome! You finished Mrs. Campbell! Wonderful achievement. Good catch on the upper case Y. You finished her in only a couple of weeks! WOW!
Love all your project. I have the same method as you, except my finished project are on my warping board lol, the loom has crocheting and quilts laying on it.
I really like your lavender and lace pattern/kits. The quilt maker and the patriotic angel is so very pretty. I too seem to collect pattern kits that I have yet to get too. Lots of angels for me too that I have strangely, not made yet. Great job on your videos. I have thought about doing a channel myself since 2020 and have yet to do it so great job doing this for us watching.
I found the nurge hoops earlier this year and love them. I have embroidered and cross stitched for years using various hoops but nurge is now my favorite. I have a few of the wooden ones but the plastic ones work very well also.
Your stitching is beautiful! Such lovely charts . I enjoy your voice and your sense of humor! Great video .I also tend to do my borders to be sure they match, but I could try doing like you said Brenda recommended ! I did Maynia, my way ! 1 project a week, Saturday start through the next week ! It worked out good . I was always a monogamous stitcher in the past !
Thank you for your video. Your Mrs Campbell is just gorgeous, I am currently stitching it with DMC also, I just love it. I also use Nurge hoops I have several different sizes, they are great quality. Best wishes from South Australia
You are so welcome! Thank you for spending some time with me! Mrs. Campbell is a great stitch and I loved it in DMC - the colors are great! Happy Stitching!
I enjoyed seeing all your patterns, it doesn’t matter how many times a day I see them, I just love yo look at them 😂 I ordered a nurge hoop yesterday..can’t wait. I normally stitch in hand, but sometimes the material is so limp I need the help of a hoop.
Love your Mrs. Campbell! Want to do this one! And appreciate your comment on the “Y” and using DMC - silks are a wee bit out of my budget. And Sarah Spencer! Gah!
Great floss tube , thanks. I would like to involved I your giveaway. I like you I stitched heavy in early in the 90, I remember are the beautiful stitches we had. Thanks again, take care🤗🧵🪡
Watched both of your videos today. You are doing a wonderful job. I love how succinct you are in your expansions and your projects are beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventures in stitching with us.
Nice finishes, especially Mrs Campbell; I love the border from that piece. I am sure many people will be interested in the patterns you showed. Happy stitching! Groetjes, Evelien
Greetings from over the pond! I have loved watching your 2 videos and your voice is so soothing. I use a 4" hoop when stitching (Just the cheapie ones) because they are so light. ("Death Grip" made me laugh!) I'm going to check up on Amazon UK to see if they have Nurge Hoops as yours looked such good quality.
Your Blast from the Past is BEAUTIFUL! And it’s from our family’s favorite vacation spot. We go every year and love Alaska. What a great memory for you! I really like hearing about your favorite tools and appreciate your review of items. Thank you again for another wonderful Flosstube. Keep ‘em coming.
Hi, Chris. Welcome to flosstube--I'm so glad I found you. Your stitching and framing are beautiful. Would you mind sharing where you buy your frames and supplies? Thank you. I look forward to your next video.
Thank you so much! I order my custom frames from Art to frame, usually for larger pieces I’ll choose the foam board option, no glass. I just get the pins on Amazon. I’ll try to link them in my next flosstube.
I'm really enjoying your videos! Loved seeing your dog! I stitch in hand unless I'm doing pulled or drawn thread.I'm in Westchester County, NY so not too far from you. Looking forward to your next episode!
Loved your first video, this was great too. Thanks for posting. Love your little Sophie, she's adorable 🐾❤️. Youre a great advert for Hands Across the Sea Samplers! You’ve made me stop and go to their websmore than once. Looking forward to seeing you again ❤️
Hi Chris, I finally found you! I watched your first and this video and am enjoying all your beautiful finishes and WIPs! Your Angel of the Sea is spectacular! I love the Freedom Angel you shared in this video and would live to see you work on that! Do you have a local needlework store to you? After you attending the NJ Flosstube Retreat? If so, I'm hoping to sit and chat with you. I'm waiting for my grandson to arrive now but looking forward to watching your next video that is already up! Happy stitching! Lori at Once Upon a Stitch
Thank you so much for stopping by! The closest shop to me, which is about an hour away, is Needleworkers - someday we should plan to meetup! It was great to meet you at the retreat! Happy Stitching!
Mrs. Cambell is beautiful, looking forward to seeing the frame you choose for her. Love the Alaska piece, what a special work to commemorate your cruise vacation trip. Thanks for your opinion on hoops. I stitch in hand on most of my projects but sometimes the linen is too soft and loose and needs a hoop to make nice stitches. So far I have only used hoops from Michaels or Hobby Lobby and know there are better ones out there. Enjoy your stitching!
Great projects. I stitched The Quilt Maker years ago. It’s so pretty. I like to camp, too but we gave it up a number of years ago. It was really fun when the kids were growing up. What will you be doing up this way when you hope to get to Hobby House?
Thank you! I’m not sure what else is around but we like to look for antiques and of course if there are any other crossstitch shops. We’re camping in Canadaigua.
@@TheCampingStitcher oh cool. I love the antique mall out on 332 between Canandaigua and Farmington. I can guess where you’re camping since I think there’s only the one campground. There’s a small cross stitch shop on Main St in Canandaigua and another in East Rochester…just a few miles from Hobby House. They just moved to a smaller location just down the road from their old shop in The Piano Work’s Mall…..they’re in a house on the same side of the road…just down past the Wendy’s. She has a lot of old treasures. Hobby House mostly has whatever’s new since it’s a new shop. Their stock of fabric and fibers can’t be beat. Have fun.
@@TheCampingStitcher I will also caution you about trying to stop at Hobby House if you have your camper still hooked up. You will never get down into the parking area…not to mention how tight the entire downtown area of Pittsford is. That is one congested town!
@@StitchingBetweenTheLines Good to know. We have a small motor home so we will have to probably park elsewhere and walk or my husband can drop me off and come back later.
Heard about you from Sambrie Stitches so I just finished watching #1 and 2 of your videos. Keep up with it before you know it you’ll have plenty of subscribers and if not you’ll have some loyal friends right? I can’t wait to see how you stitch on the road cuz my husband and I are going on a road trip, driving this time, to go back to our hometown in Michigan. We retired in Nov. 2020 and are living in FL now. I re-started cross stitching again in 2021 after about 15 years. I had gotten rid of so much of my stitching stuff including patterns and fabric! Yikes, what was I thinking huh! I now have a nice lighted magnifying lamp and can’t imagine how I’ll stitch in the car or while we’re gone. Any help is appreciated. I’m thinking some type of magnified glasses? If you have a lot of things you aren’t going to stitch then I agree do some giveaways. I think it may help you get some additional stitchers. I heard you say the word unicorn and that you were stitching it but slowly or something? I have a unicorn I’d love to borrow from someone (possibly purchase) it’s called Strawberry Garden by Blackbird design and is, of course, retired. It’s a smaller pattern like 5x7 if I remember right. You see I had it and in our move to FL I pitched it with so many other things I now regret. Ugh!! Anyway keep making videos and I’m on to watching more. Happy stitching!
You can try bigger counts of fabric too? I wear glasses so maybe some higher strength readers might be good? I don’t use a magnifier so I can speak to that. So sorry about all you pitched but I can tell you all of us have done that with our crafts, glad you came back to it.
I've been using Michaels for my special framing pieces otherwise I frame myself. Mrs Campbell is beautiful! I love the heart border. How much over one is in the chart? Haven't stitched from the recipe book yet.
