    Great progress. Love your 1 over 1 flags. I feel like we could be soul sisters we camp every year and about 6 years ago I bought my husband a metal detector. We don't use it often, but it is fun. We take bets how much in coins we find and if there will be more bottle caps than coins.

    I feel your pain with your back. I have 2 herniated disk that love to flare up at the worse time! I stitched Buttoned Yule a few years ago and made a big pillow for my bed. Love it!

    Thanks for sharing your dmc organization. I started organizing mine a week ago, and think I will do it over, your way. It looks more convenient. Now I just have them hanging colorways, like all the reds together etc, and it's a lot of numbers to go through every time I'm searching for a specific color. Gotta find that dmc chart 🌞
    Love your projects ❤

    Hi Chris! So sorry to hear that you tweaked your back, and hope that it is feeling much better now. Fantastic finish on American Welcome, and I just love the Brenda Gervais finishes! These are in my stash, and I need to get them done!!! Can’t wait to see your new spring release, the colors look beautiful! I really enjoy seeing your WIP’s progress, and I don’t know how you can finish so many things so fast! I’ll be waiting to hear your next campfire story! Take care!

    Hi, Chris! It’s always such a pleasure to see all the beautiful things you’ve been working on, and your finishes, too. Girl, you have flying fingers! 😂 I enjoy all your choices. That Cedar River linen is just fab! Can’t wait to see what you will put on the Spindrift. What a nice surprise to find that Shepherd’s Bush chart…what a treasure! Thank you for another lovely visit! ❤

    I enjoy seeing what’s going on in your stitchy world. You have some great projects. Moments before your video popped up in my RUclips feed, I started Stitcher’s Prayer. Love the pattern and especially the verse.

    Your American Welcome finish is beautiful. I have wanted that pattern since it came out and when it was released at market I ordered it. Is there a lot of one over one stitching? My eyes can see 20 count Aida but anything above it looks so tiny and I have old eyes. I never thought about it until you mentioned a one over one flag. The colors you have chosen for your new design are gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what it looks like. You said you don’t usually gravitate towards those colors but you picked beautiful ones that go so well together. I have had that DMC color chart for quite awhile. It is so helpful when looking for the right shade and I use it a lot. I’m sorry you hurt your back. I ffo’d three pieces yesterday while standing up for a long time and my back was toast. I have problems with my back because of crushing a vertebrae in my upper back in 1980 and it comes back to haunt me occasionally, which is what happened yesterday. I’m glad you are feeling better. Back pain is the worst. I missed your camping story but you have told quite a few so taking some time to sort through them is a good idea. I did suggest to you one time,to make something up. You’re a creative person and we’ll never know. Have a good two weeks and I hope your nice weather lasts awhile.

    What a finish! American Welcome is gorgeous! I love seeing all of your WIP's. I want to stitch all the Plum Street now too. Can't wait for your spring design, the colors are so pretty, and tulips and daffodils mean spring to me too.

    How do you keep your DMC threads clean when they are hanging up without beginning covered?

    • @TheCampingStitcher
      @TheCampingStitcher  9 месяцев назад

      I’m not sure how they would get dirty just hanging up? I’ve never had a problem.
