Chris, I have just now discovered The Camping Stitcher and enjoyed this Flosstube. I am a "kitter" and have 50+ kitted presently. Many are WIPs but everyone is in their own project bag. About half are smalls so they are stitched quickly and may be replaced by new projects. Thank you for mentioning WIPGO 2024, I am checking it to assist with my organizational skills with projects. It sounds intriguing.
I've watched several of your flosstubes and just love your stitching and finishes...and your campfire stories. I don't kit up too many things until I am ready to stitch, but I'm sure I have one or two around here that I could dig up. I love the "Stitch That Kit" challenge. I'm in! Have a happy, stitchy week!
I love hearing the birds outside your window. It makes me ALMOST feel like I am stitching outside. I don't like the heat either. I live in Las Vegas and basically hibernate all summer. I love the idea of stitch that kit. I've had flea market flowers kitted for 3 or 4 years. Maybe I'll finally start it.
I agree that over 75degrees is abominable! I do kit a few designs now. I never did that before all of cross stitch went wild. We are in Ohio where our thunderstorms are impressive at times and worrisome that they will turn into tornadoes. Having a “go bag” ready is essential. At least with the present technology there is some warning of storms coming. But, I do not miss Florida at all after being there with a close miss from Andrew. Just hope you can stay safe. Keep stitching no matter what!
Thank you for the heads up on the extra floss needed for American Sampler! I'm stitching that now. Your work is just fabulous! Enjoyed the video and the lovely bird song. Doesn't get better than that. ❤
I joined the stitch the kit challenge. I have many kitted up projects😅maybe 15 or 16. The danger in tnat is sometimes I have to borrow a floss from a kit and use it up or forget and add it back to stash. Sounds like those of you on the East coast can really get some nasty weather! It just gets hot out here in Arizona but when our monsoon season arrives, it can cause some flooding. Happy stitching!
I only kit things up just before I am ready to start the project. If a chart has several smalls I will leave the flosses and fabric in the project bag until I want to start the next one. Enjoy your stories! 🧵🪡💕
You are right about the heat in Florida. I live in St. Augustine and the present temperature is 94 degrees. That is stay inside and stitch temperature. Love your new design. I am in the middle of doing patriotic stitching.
The American sampler is just beautiful. I love the stitching and the frame. I like the stitch a kit idea. I have several charts I’ve kitted up myself and also ones that I bought as kits. I think I’ll try one of the prekitted projects. I love all the things you’ve stitched. Thanks for sharing.
Love your idea of getting those kitted projects done! I have too many to count! Your American Sampler is gorgeous and that is the perfect frame too! Looking forward to the next episode and your campfire adventures! Happy stitching💚🇺🇸
Your patriotic pillow is fabulous! Many years ago, I was home with just the dog. We had a thunderstorm and lightening hit a tree next to the house. The current jumped to the house and ran through the phone line. It blew out the phones, the answering machine, all the TVs, the VCR, and for some reason, the microwave. After that, my poor dog was a shaking mess every time there was thunder or any loud noises.
Hello friend! Great catching up with you today! ❤Stay cool and hydrated! Love all your projects and such beautiful stitching. I saw we start anytime the first of June! I’m ready. ❤
Holy cow! Your campfire story scared me! That sure sounds like a tornado, especially when you mentioned the green overcast. I am originally from Kansas and I can remember my dad sitting at a 4-way intersection and telling me we’ll just sit here, watch the tornado, and whichever way it turns, I’ll turn the opposite direction. He appeared so calm. FYI, they do sound like a freight train. Your finish looks fantastic in that frame! Great job! I think #stitchthatkit challenge is a great idea! My granddaughter and I just labeled my kits. There were at least 75!!!! 😱 I need to stitch faster!!!! Just tell me when!! Happy stitching!❤
Your wren sounded so nice and close, so close I thought it was in my yard!. I even got up to look outside to see my wren. Which is only at your house and not mine. So disappointed. Maybe soon here. Great video. You are stitching a couple things that I have on my to stitch list. The American Sampler, and the log cabin series. Thanks for keeping me company.
Your American Sampler looks PERFECT in that frame. Love it. Just bought your chart. Going to the beach on Friday. I will be stitching that! Great job on your creation!!
Your little squirrel that you finished stitching is so cute. I hope you share it when you’ve ffo’d it. The American Sampler is beautiful. Your campfire story was a bit scary. I live in Southern CA and we don’t usually have thunderstorms although during the last two summers we’ve had more than we’ve ever had. Last August a hurricane was predicted to hit Mexico and then travel up the west coast. After all the news coverage about hurricanes, I’ll admit I was scared. It turned out to be over hyped. We had had worse rain storms the previous winter. The only thing I can say that was different was that when I opened my front door, the blast of hot humid air was like something I’ve never felt. I’m glad it didn’t turn into anything worse than a tropical storm. I understand earthquakes but tornados and hurricanes are beyond my experience. I’m glad you were okay. I don’t like kitting things up so it gets done as I am ready to start the project. I did kit up some patriotic patterns this last week but have started one and will start the other two very soon. I have plenty of WIPS though. Kitting up is not my favorite thing to do. Your idea is a good one though, for those that like to do a lot of kitting. Enjoy your next two weeks. I hope it cools down for you. Low to mid seventies are my favorites.
I have a lot of kitted up projects. Usually I kit them up at the beginning of the year as I make my plans and of course as the year goes along when I find new patterns I want to stitch immediately.
Thank you, I'm glad it worked for the stitch. It is absolutely disgusting today - ugh. I know they say it's not the heat, it's the humidity, but I don't care for either.
I’m with you on temperature. It’s 81 today but I think it feels a lot hotter. We had tornado sirens at 2am Friday. Not how you want to wake up! I love hearing the birds. I’m up for Stitch that Kit challenge. I’ve had Indigo Place (I think that’s the name) kitted for a long time.
Love all your pieces…they are beautiful! I am starting the SAL tomorrow with Christine at HHC also. I have so much kitted and ready to go but just not enough time to work on it all! I guess everyone feels that way!
Great stitching Chris. I love your new design. I'm absolutely in on stitch that kit. I have at least 10 kitted. To further partake in your challenge, I think I'll start another kitted project each month thru December.
I love the Freedom Rings chart. I'll be adding it to my collection. I have 3 projects kitted up. Only one of them has no plans for a start. I also have 3 or 4 that have fabric but no floss and a couple with floss but no fabric. I'd love to get all my kits started and my partial kits kitted up and started. I think your idea is great.
Good to see you Chris, your finishes and New release and stitching projects are all Beautiful, your fabrics for project bags are yummy colours can’t wait to see what they will look like,My hands hurt as well with anything to heavy to hold for a long time, I often go and get a hand massage and it helps with circulation,I have several projects kitted up so I like your idea of starting one.Have a good week stay cool,We are heading into Winter here in NZ ,Thankyou for sharing 🇳🇿🪡❤️
I love your new Patriotic pattern! Also your FFO is beautiful! I am camping this Memorial day weekend in the Great Smoky Mountains of western NC. I went to Anabella's Needlework shop yesterday and was planning to go to Sassy Jacks Stitchery in Weaverville, but ran out of time. Hope fully I will get to go next weekend when I come back up to camp as she has finally reopened. I would love to join your Kitted up SAL as I have a few projects kitted up. Hope you enjoy your camping trip. Happy Stitching! Dottie
This was my first time watching you. I loved it and love your ideas. Thanks for sharing your talent. I can't STAND the heat so I moved to a mountain valley. We are still having frost in the mornings. Our growing season is short but I'm totally fine with that especially when having very cool evenings and mornings are involved😂
I enjoyed seeing all of your work, and when I saw your design in the intro pictures, my first thought was “Oh, I hope she’ll tell whose design that is!” 😊 Lovely! Yes, I would like to participate in the Stitch a kit SAL. I have many kitted projects - most of them purchased that way. Please tell in a video how you get the fold lines out of the fabric - after it has been folded in a kit for a while (like two years!). Happy stitching! PS. I loved hearing the birds!
Hi Chris! Love all your projects - your finishes and WIPS are all beautiful. This is such a basic question but how do you put DMC on floss drops? Can you do a quick demo? Thank you so much for all you do!
Your retirement agrees with your hair. It was always nice but now it’s really pretty. I am so bad… I always kit up right away when I get a chart. FOMO from when I first started cross stitching a couple of years ago. Now I realize that wasn’t in my best interest. A lady doesn’t tell her age, nor will I say how many kits I have. Let’s just say I am seriously thinking of doing some serious destashing.
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
Love your Freedom Rings.

Nice stitching! I'm with you...never needs to be over 75° !!

Your fi😮are awesome. I love the American house. Your frame was a great find. I like to frame my things close also.

Sampler is AWESOME!!! Living is southwest Louisiana we suffer from hurricanes. Some major. So happy to see you today and do enjoy all your stories!
Yay! I’m so glad I found you!
Yes! I would love to do your Stitch That Kit Challenge!
Please count me in!
Love your idea of getting those kitted projects done! I have too many to count! Your American Sampler is gorgeous and that is the perfect frame too! Looking forward to the next episode and your campfire adventures! Happy stitching💚🇺🇸

I don’t lit up til right before too. Love your ready made frame. The patriotic design you created is so cute
Your American sampler is terrific!!
Your American Sampler is beautifully finished! The frame is a very nice compliment to the sampler. Freedom Rings is a great pattern!
The American Sampler looks WONDERFUL in that frame. And even cooler that you got it on clearance. Happy Stitching! 🪡🩷
Thank you! 😊
Yes stitch that kit. I love it, I have 6 things kitted up and they definitely need to be started. WIPS rule!!
Your wren sounded so nice and close, so close I thought it was in my yard!. I even got up to look outside to see my wren. Which is only at your house and not mine. So disappointed. Maybe soon here. Love the stitch the kit idea. I have “several” to ensure I can start when the mood strikes. 😉
📖⛺️🪵🔥🏕️📖
Yes please 😮😮😮
Enjoyed seeing your stitching
Oh My Gosh! You ask do you have things kitted up? I have at least 15 things all kitted up.🤣 thank you for sharing!
I would love to have a stitch that kit. I have several in a basket ready to start!
Your American Sampler looks PERFECT in that frame. Love it. Just bought your chart. Going to the beach on Friday. I will be stitching that! Great job on your creation!!

Working on the Erin Elizabeth Bee- Scornu as we speak. Lots more stitching than you think.
Thank you for a fantastic episode! I just love everything you stitch and design.
Thank you, Annie!
I have a lot of kitted up projects. Usually I kit them up at the beginning of the year as I make my plans and of course as the year goes along when I find new patterns I want to stitch immediately.
The American Sampler looks amazing! Such a great job framing it!!
Yikes!! That was some stormy weather!,
The frame for American Sampler was the perfect fit!! I'm with you on the heat. 75 is still too hot for me! 😂
Thank you, I'm glad it worked for the stitch. It is absolutely disgusting today - ugh. I know they say it's not the heat, it's the humidity, but I don't care for either.
Love hearing the birds in the background!❤
Happy Monday Chris, lovely catching up, love your stitching! I love the stitch the kit idea, I have lots kitted up , take care and happy stitching xxx
So nice to hear from you, Ellie! Thank you so much!

I would start the Equality Sampler but I had to order fabric so maybe next weekend for me. All your stitching is wonderful.
Oh darn! New fabric is fun though!
Great stitching Chris. I love your new design. I'm absolutely in on stitch that kit. I have at least 10 kitted. To further partake in your challenge, I think I'll start another kitted project each month thru December.
Thank you! and I llke the way you think ;) I'll be keeping an eye out for those kitted starts!
I loved seeing all your gorgeous stitching! I have things kitted and just had 3 finishes so a start is in order!
Thank you! I'm always happy about new starts ;)
Thanks for the mention and love the idea of a kit sal! Great work on your finishes and ffos too
Thank you for the inspiration - I love those questions you ask!
Thank you so much!
The American Sampler looks great! I noticed that a leaf maybe missing on the left in the top border. Hope I'm wrong. Love your videos!!
You are right! This should be interesting to fix - thanks so much for letting me know!

Nice video! I love your new design. I have a Halloween piece kitted up that I could start as a SAL in June. I will look you up on FB and Instagram!
I enjoyed seeing all of your work, and when I saw your design in the intro pictures, my first thought was “Oh, I hope she’ll tell whose design that is!”
😊 Lovely!
Thank you so much! I really don't have a solution for the creases - maybe a google search might turn something up?
Going to do a little shopping for your PDFs. I know I’ll purchase freedom rings for a July 1 start ❤️🤍💙. Birds are never noise 💚
Thank you so much!
Beautiful WIPs and awesome finishes!
Thank you so much!
Like your new release. On my list.
Thank you!
Love your new release.
Thank you!
Hi Chris! Love all your projects - your finishes and WIPS are all beautiful.
This is such a basic question but how do you put DMC on floss drops? Can you do a quick demo?
Thank you so much for all you do!
Thank you! There are so many floss drop videos out already, a quick search should give you what you want.
Beautiful job of framing. Do you lace or use pins into the foam core.
Thank you - I tend to pin. I get all tangled up in lacing, but I have done it for small pieces. Never on a big piece.
💝💝💝
Gorgeous American Sampler! Chris, do you use glass in your frames?
Thank you. I never use glass. I would if it were something in high humidity but so far, I haven't done.
Your retirement agrees with your hair. It was always nice but now it’s really pretty.
I am so bad… I always kit up right away when I get a chart. FOMO from when I first started cross stitching a couple of years ago. Now I realize that wasn’t in my best interest.
