It was the collection of Seth B. Atwood. Seth died and the family sold the collection. Last year it was demolished. This year 2023 a new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is under construction. The old museum was World Class starting with Solar, Sand & Water time keeping up to atomic timekeeping as I recall. I toured it in the mid to late 1960s when I was a teen ager. I think the Germans were Great with mechanical clocks. Probably Bavarian & Swiss too. I am a fan of your channel and far from an expert on timekeeping.
