The real problem with primerica is not the company or the products, the system is great and proven that it works great. The problem is the agents, the uplines, the really greedy RVPs
It’s a scam
@@Jonathanest90s you have no idea what you're talking about lmao
@@anthonyduran5778 1.5M left the opportunity in just the last 5 years alone.
Yes, sadly it is the system of recruitment and training that is the problem. The people are environmentally made to be greedy.
The system incentivizes preying on new recruits , both for their warm market leads, but also to buy policy and sign up for POL or buy a $150 convention ticket.
The product, itself, IS good! But the repetitive pep rallies, lack of provided product training, and not being taught how to go out and generate new business besides friends and family, is why I left. And I really wanted to make it work!
That is unfortunate to hear. Being in this business myself, I can say that there’s a lot of internal factors that play a huge part in this I used analogy it similar like college. The teacher doesn’t necessarily hold your hand, but give you the tools and then it’s up to you to use those tools, I would love to hear more about your story
We'll give you all the training. You should already be licensed so it's not about your money. If you want the information, we'll get it to you. Let me know I'll send you my email
This reason why I left as well because I felt like I wasn’t being helped and had to do everything myself but i believe when you join a company as team members you should have more training I say that because if you actually want to succeed together as a team you need to work together
@@BiancaFlores-jk2np Sorry to hear. Training is not an issue with our group. We have training on Mondays to talk about everything from the product, the online portal and available products from a relationship oriented trainer. On Tuesdays, we have much the same thing from someone who is technical minded. These do not include the training the can be accessed from Primerica, LFIC and MPI. But the best training is kneecap to kneecap, learning how families have been deceived with permanent insurance, group education funds, bank investment products, etc.
@@noahkeenerhonestly all I’m getting out I primerica is to one firstly check with family who needs/ birth babies. Then friends. Then strangers in need. Seasoned agents avoid Primerica like the plague. According to their annual reports, only unlicensed agents join the opportunity.
Thank you for this information, this helped me make my decision!
The dream sounds good. But, it seems you have to be outgoing and become an informed sales person, and aware of those charge backs caused by people who cancel.
After first getting my license a few years back, I went to one of their things. I didn’t hear Insurance mentioned once. I wasn’t even sure I was in the right place and that it was about selling insurance.
Did those meetings remind you of Amway, Herbalife, Scentsy? They likely did, as the real product behind all MLMs is the monetizing of those seeking false salvation in the form of an opportunity. Products/services are merely the bait used.
@@johnd9541 Whe did it for me is when the main speaker said that selling a product is for scumbags and that he was giving so much more that could change lives. First of all, there are lots of people out there selling all sorts of things and they aren’t scumbags. Second, I got into insurance because I believe in the product. I already do change people’s lives and I do it by being clear about how I can do it.
I don’t know. I was told that I was going for training and I just saw a bunch of people talking about how rich they were and a lot of desperate souls cheering for them. I have always been self motivated so to me it was a waste of time and money. I also disagree with recruiting baristas or whatever to come sell insurance for me, but really the goal is to make them recruit for me.
The worst thing was that they approached me with insurance and financial services and then bait and switched me into recruiting the poor and desperate. I told them that wasn’t my goal and left amicably. No reason to be antagonistic.

5:40 Other fees like CHARGE BACKs if a person cancels a policy, you have to pay the money back. That commision is actually a "loan" unless the person keeps the policy?
yes
That's the definition of a commission advance… 🤣 Or any *other* advance you get, e.g., partnership payout advances. Just tend to be interest free, at least…
Insurance is like that, make sure to do good business and if a client misses a payment to be on it. None of the agents are trained to do this boring part of the business, but it's what keeps business growing. I'm not with Nightmerica though.
This is the case for any type of commission that pays as an Advance. In insurance, this is to incentivize salespeople to make good sales instead of pushing trash to anyone who will take it.
Communism bases sales do this. ZILLOW does this with sales to realestate agents. If the agent cancels within a few months then the sales agent gets a charge back. I have family that works/worked for zillow so I know this 1st hand

Thank you for providing this useful information for people like me! I had an interview with a Primerica recruiter and I asked them to give me some time to make a decision before I join them. Can’t wait for to listen to hear about the Alliance and WFG and the Senior Life Groups, hearing takes are opinions
I was a WFG rep for about a year, and I am embarrased to admit it. But it is a bunch of rubbish and ra-ra money-making scheme with no real concern for the clients.
I was with them in the beginning of the year and one thing I didn’t like and that they would say they’re people of God but only cared about making more money and getting recruits . I noticed little by little they would brag so much about having this and designer that but it says in the Bible do not care about worldly things such as luxury stuff and cars . I just got a negative feeling about it and they would literally want me to risk my life to go to thier training classes or else I don’t have that no excuses mindset . It was too much . I researched and realized it was all a MLM thing and pyramid scheme . God opened my eyes and had me see the truth in those people who worked there .

Most MLMs promise dreams that never happen
Insurance/investments in general requires a "special" kind of person. You have to be prepared to constantly solicit business from EVERY PERSON in your daily life, including your immediate family, friends, team mates, bowling league, second cousin twice removed, etc, etc. You will be ostracized, ignored, criticized by MANY of the people you know and love. And you will be required to work, attend meetings, recruit, train, solicit meetings WITHOUT PAY until you achieve your licence. It's a hard go and be prepared to hear A LOT of NO's before the occasional YES.
Currently between Northwestern Mutual’s recruitment and Primerica’s recruitment processes. If anyone has some insight and pointers, please drop them down below 👇
Just do sound business….and realize you have to go through a lot of people, recruiting is the crux of your success!
-Are they married?
-Do they have kids?
-Have they been on their job for more than 7 years?
-Are they between the ages of 27 and 50?
-Do They have any health issues that requires them taking more than 3 pills?
I can’t wait to hear about companies . It’s coo because we can make our own decisions
For charge backs u just call your client and u let them know about a risk they are taking if they really want to cancel a life insurance. We dont have tomorrow guaranteed and if u or your spouse dies and u canceled imagine? So what i do is get them on a lower plan and they keep the plan
If only they understood 😂🙄
because of the way it works depending on your upline you will either have a really good experience or a really bad experience because each upline shares different processes for developing the different aspects of what it takes to be successful at the business model like prospecting (recruits) for example there are different methods taught by different uplines I can see why there are a lot of bad experiences but there are definitely a lot of good ones too. Its not for everybody.
So now you're saying there are compliance issues as well?
The only presenting the good and glossing over the bad happens all over. I could use a dental implant. The dentists just made the necessity to drill in towards my sinuses as just an add-on. Then came the bill, which was an order of magnitude more pricey than my the ones for my mostly missing teeth! And billing was *screaming* at me to pay up the several thousands of dollars *immediately*. Not really happy with this UCSF Dentistry department. Wife wants second opinion, see if my tooth can be saved…
If you continuously write good business then chargebacks are not a huge deal. People pass away, lose their jobs, or switch carriers so to think you can avoid any chargebacks in life insurance is just not the right mindset.
When recruits leave after a few months, cancelling the policy they were sold upon joining is often the first thing they do.
Go independent if you want to do insurance and where you’re not forced to recruit.

In Primerica, the RVP training is what makes or breaks it. The services are amazing. My dad had a policy with Primerica and when he died, my mom got a check 3 days later and doesn't have to work a day in her life.... but agent training makes all the difference. They get stuck.... so if you have an RVP who got you in and through licensing but isn't training - SWITCH. Find an agent who can train well. My RVP didn't even take my warm market...

A chargeback is when a policy does not stay on the books for 12 months. Then you pay back the percentage of the annual premium that the company did not get. After 12 months there is no chargeback.
But like any subscription service, be it cable tv, magazines or insurance, the majority of cancellations occur in the first few months.

How about if I recruit a lot of friends and write them hi value policies, then get the advance commissions and later on my friends cancel their policies , am I supposed to keep the money?
Depends on how soon they cancel, but like all subscription services, the bulk are cancelled within the first year. And if they are recruits (who leave at an annual rate of 87%) this is especially true. Cancelling will be the first thing they do after leaving. This will result in huge chargebacks.

When I joined, I was under an NSD, who seemed to want to push the entire team to get to RVPs. It was a constant kick in the ass from him, and it made me realize that if we branch, he makes more money. His house was massive and bought on the backs of many people who didn't make it out that rich. To really sell these products, you'd have to be okay with an entire town hating you. People hate being harassed, and after covid, nobody is looking to invest in long-term investments, 90% of people are stuck on survival, and the market is drying up.
RVP's are required by policy to rent/lease storefront office space. Likely that NSD acted as a landlord and made a good chunk of his stated earnings renting space.

It’s a pyramid scheme lmao literally all that money is from the people they steal from they don’t pay a dime
For people saying it's not a real job....it ISN'T! It's a business opportunity. If you have an employee mindset no business opportunity will work. It's like college. It's not for everyone but too many people have had success and graduated to say its a scam. Take it upon yourself to get better and learn all the products to make yourself a better agent. There is plenty money to be made without recruiting. If you open a store and only sell t-shirts then it's harder to make it than if you sold shirts, pants, shoes, etc. Most people who say it's a scam never got fully licensed and quit before they start because they think it's a job
And yet over 40% of the licensed force leaves each year?
If there is so much booming business going around, how come new recruits have to pay all the licensing and fees?
I'm a business graduate that graduated top of my class and have had the "business opportunity" sales pitch thrown my way. MLM is not a opportunity and it's NOTHING like getting a degree. It's sad that you feed on people's hopes and dreams and gas them up on "financial freedom" only to discard them saying they didn't "want" it enough or they didn't have the "right mindset". These are real people with real needs.
Ya'll sell life insurance but have big conventions to keep the hype train going yet can't pay for new employee's basic training? That's not an opportunity, that's a trap. You're just too deep into the sunk cost fallacy to admit it.
Should be ashamed.
RED FLAG: "employee mindset"
Homie, this is a scam.

I hate primeamerica they are so aggressive for no reason. No means NO!
This is a collapsable business model.
Do yall realize every single place of business "recruits" in order to hire enough people to do the job? Just because you didnt do well doesnt mean it is a scam. And yes, there are bad people in EVERY industry, so of course you are still going to find bad people in primerica. That doesnt make the entire company bad. Yall will say anything to make yourselves feel better about failing at something.
When companies hire people, their employee count goes up. Primerica has focused on recruiting for 40+ years yet their selling force is half the size it was in the 80's.
There is nothing wrong with Primerica. When you put people first, the money will come. When you put people second and money first you get that female's results of chargebacks and rightfully so.
So they obviously put people second then.
@@johnd9541 People 1st money 2nd.
@@christinenelson9916 People, as in, recruit.....then sell to those recruits who are eager to prove their loyalty. Right.....got it.
Anything can be called a scam. Mcdonalds, Met Life, ANYTHING that requires work.
McDonalds is subject to the FTC's Business Opportunity requiring full disclosure of their opportunities. MLM fought to be exempt from full disclosure rules.
Scam

I'm having a great time with Primerica!!! Licensed in Michigan since February 2022 🎉 This video is really misleading.. If more people looked at insurance as an investment and not a Bill there would be less charge backs. I'm that instance you don't spend all the money.. Put some to the side to cover potential charge backs. I don't approach my potential clients like these people in the video.
That is awesome to hear. I am also building my Primerica business in Michigan and agree with your thoughts on this video. I/we do not operate how was described in this video, love to connect with you and talk ALW
How much did you make from Primerica last month?
@@noahkeener True, it's much worse.
Maybe they found out she is a lying cheater, and they didn't want to work with her.
Primerica is the best opportunity out there! Has the most 6-7 figure earners in america today. Im sorry all of ya are not educated properly. Understand every office is different. Im happy to be in an office where they do the right things . Theres a reason why this girl quit. She got lazy ane didn’t work.
Has the most 6-7 figure earners in america today? Do you always quote anonymous MLM blog facts?

As A leader in primerica, It sounds like she did not have proper leadership here which is unfortunate, who you come here with is very important!!! Due to the opportunity of ownership everyone operates differently! Karma is A real thing! Having good intentions is everything!:)
I didn't have a good uplead either. When I failed my exam she made fun of me instead of helping me. Turned me off real quick
Ohh buuuuuullsh*t. 99% of people that join Primerica get burnt. The ONLY reason you don't think so is because you're a "leader" IE one of the only people that actually make any money. The business you're working for scams people. The insurance is fine, everything else is an absolute scam.
Yeah, I’m Impressed by the market performance. Anyone who knows a thing or two about business knows the charts tell you all you need. Everything else is just superfluous noise
i just got my license under primerica and i have to say the person im under has made it pretty obvious that i was just recruitted for their benefit
You can say whatever you want but y’all are SCAMMERS. Ofc you’re gonna make it sound all amazing because this benefits you. Shame on you for profiting off of others being uneducated on what you’re doing. Y’all are EVIL.
Primerica is not a MLM company
You've been lied to Luther. It's absolutely an MLM, but worse
Your corporate President disagrees with you. So now what? Sounds like you're not a fan of MLM? www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/business-opportunity-rule-535221-00056/535221-00056.pdf

Herbalife was around 40 yrs before paying a $200M fine and being placed on 7 yrs probation. Advocare was around 29 yrs before being declared a pyramid scheme by the FTC. Coincidentally, Advocare is still operating after paying a settlement.
It's so good Prukner and Matlock Jr left.
