When someone is not interested into something but has been trying to forcefully to be attentive, what happens is you miss out on some important points that the other one is trying to convey. That's how people label others as having ADD. I think it is mostly associated these days with reading as most people are getting less interested in reading.

Nowadays people are really crazy about these psychological labels, if someone is sitting at work or studying & they yawn or opens up their social media, then they will say you have ADHD for why were you not able to concentrate on your work, nowadays if GenZ's get bad grades because they are simply not interested in the subject then they will start suspecting that they have ADHD or a learning disability because why would they have a bad grade otherwise. Nowadays, if someone's boyfriend breaks up with them or their in-laws are unpleasant, then they will simply diagnose them as narcissists & psychopaths. This self-acclaimed diagnosis without proper tests is really dangerous as we cannot simply diagnose psychological issues simply based on speculations. If a person is yawning they may be tired, if a person is using social media they may be bored, if a person had bad grades they might not be interested in the subject or may be they need to work harder, if your boyfriend broke up there could be multiple reasons and so on. These things arefor real, but we need to be very educated about them & not diagnose people left, right, and centre based on speculations. Shooting from the hip is generally not a good practice, but in science, if we shoot from the hip, then it becomes pseudoscience. So better be very careful with these things. It's generally true for all of us but especially true for Gen Z’s

this is an exaggeration lol. This does happen but it isnt an issue with the day to day. You know how scared we are as a society to say something WRONG? We always want to be right and jumping to such conclusions without proper examination simply doesnt happen as often as this comment implies.
No, ADHD is very much real. The lack of attention is just the surface of this issue, too much brain activity is the main problem that prevents people from focusing. I have tried again and again to focus on things but it's just not possible. I kept getting distracted and can't focus that I doubt if I'm still a human because I'm just not functional. Some kind of distracting thing happened and that thing will be playing in my brain for the rest of the day. I think meditation can help but this is just only for people with mild ADHD and it's very hard to sustain. Medication is still needed and I read it's just different once you're medicated. But I agree though, that people have been misusing psychological labels these days.

He suggested that such children should spend more time in nature like trekking, long walks and nature trips. Their hyper cerebral activity settles down and lowers anxiety. With AD symptoms one may actually get great benefits from meditation, yoga practices and mindfulness if you think about it. Some people will meditate for hours and receive little benefits or fulfillment. With AD symptoms, simple energy work is immediate results and it's time to move to the next thing. With mindfulness if a negative pattern is felt an AD person won't focus on it or they'll change their frequency before someone else notices.
