That is why you can see them not singing at some points or leaving space for someone. [It's because the members and ARMY strongly believe that no one can ever replace him]. About the shoulder injury:- When Yoongi [Suga's real name] was younger and was still a trainee he worked numerous part-time jobs to pay for his expenses as he came from a poor background and because he left his family at that time to pursue his dreams [his family was not supportive of his dreams at all but soon they came to acknowledge his dreams and job after a few years after his debut]. One of the many part-time jobs he worked at was as an delivery boy. When Yoongi was delivering at someone's house a car came and crashed into him dragging him under the vehicle, it was an hit and run. He ended up tearing his ligament and breaking his shoulder bone. But, he kept the injury a secret due to the fear of getting cut from the team and trainee program. Eventually BHE found out and made him go to the doctor's and got it fixed for the time-being and he debuted with the members [Suga actually lied about how he got the injury tho]. (The members got to know about how get actually got the injury in 2017 and it was officially disclosed in their first docu-series burn the stage). However, the pain didn't go away even after the visit to the doctor's. Yoongi was enduring the pain all these years by himself, dancing and performing on stage. And, it worsened in 2019-2020 and he decided to get the surgery done on 2020 as the condition worsened. Now, he's out from rehab and his shoulder is doing great and he is fine.

I'm 53 and come from the netherlands. For me BTS is now what Michael Jackson was in the 80's. They are the emperors of pop and the worlds best group ever! The music, the performace, the MV's, the lyrics, the dedication, their live performances, their life- stories, their strugles, their hardships, the respect, love and appriciation for their fans, it's all outstanding! I feel honoured that i got to know them and my admiration is still growing.

Korean award shows are no joke 😍😍 compared to award shows in the west. The Grammys can’t relate. Good thing they still showed their potential on their Grammy performance.
If you want a feel of the energy they have in concert, then I would recommend their Dope+baepsae+fire+run medley. It is amazing that they can keep up that kind of energy for almost 3 hours. It’s a great performance but you may want to start with the music video for dope, fire, and run. For baepsae (also known as Silver Spoon) there isn’t an MV but they do have a dance practice that’s really fun and since it’s a political song, I would recommend DKDKTV’s explanation video- Baepsae explained by Koreans. It goes into the wordplay and cultural references that other people may miss. BTS writes and produces all of their songs (except Dynamite-their first all English song) so remember to put on subtitles because you don’t want to miss out on their lyrics. Love your reactions!!!💜
Many will recommend *MMA2019 but* I want to recommend you *don't do it* until you know all the members well and the songs from that performance or it will not be as good as it is when you know them and understand whats going on. I have seen people relativly new to BTS react and though they are impressed it's nothing compared to the experience that the ones that wait have watching it. Yes you have to react to concerts, there are atleast 2 different videos lots of reactors recently reacted to that are the medley part from two different concerts of theirs. Those are amazing you get to see BTS full force doing multiple songs back to back in concerts with up to about 100 000 people. Me who comes from listening to rock/metal alot really appriciate BTS and their performances. But except for the BTS membersperformances, great music, amazing vocals, great producers, they are great songwriters, their lyrics are amazing and deep and beautiful and with a great message in so many of their songs. And BTS as people are so humble and genuinly nice people making the world a better more open place and helping people heal and stand up for themselves and being themselves which is really amazing and needed. I am 59 years old. I was in an abusive relationship when I was married 2nd time around. These guys with their inspirational thoughts and encouragement have made me laugh more today (i mean in 2021)then i ever have. They are so energetic and humble it's wild. Footage from their Love Yourself stadium tour is always great! There are lots of options, so I will yield to my fellow ARMY family to tell you any that really stand out. Keep in mind that not all of their concert is choreography driven. Some of it is just incredible energy and the guys moving all over the place interacting with each other and us while singing! I love So What for the energy of them and the fans together! OAN: the dance break in Dynamite was so unexpected and absolutely incredible!! It’s the one and only time they added that to a Dynamite performance and there are like 34 of them that are all different. BTS always puts on the most amazing performances! I am never disappointed. 💜

Their live performances are hard to beat, but please don;t alow that to encourage you not to get to know their early work. You can find a lot of these on BangtanTV on RUclips. You look like you may be into heavyish rock, and early BTS music was very driven, and heavily influenced by Hip Hop, but as a rock music fan I feel very at home with it. Their early work is full of youthful defiance against the tight restrictions and extreme expectation placed on young people in Korea, where it is expected that they attend school then go on to study in academies in the evening, often working 16 to 18 hours a day plus weekends in order to get the best grades for entering a good college, make the "right" connections and get a "good" job either with the government or a big company, where, again, working hours can be very long indeed, and young people are paid little, because of some mythical animal called "passion pay" (the companies are doing THEM a favour letting them work for them). 5:03 - is where they left Suga’s spot empty due to his having to be out several weeks/months because of shoulder surgery from a previous injury during their trainee days, before debut. All of this comeback they would somehow incorporate Suga’s presence into the performance. They TRULY are closer than brothers.

8:53 "way cool man" that’s Jungkook the main singer of the group and the youngest☺️. He is also the one who sings the intro in dynamite. He is known to be the powerful center of the group and the backbone of the vocals in the group. He is multitalented as well!. Director (he directed their recent MV), songwriter/producer, photographer, video editor, boxer, painter and much more!

Their live performances are hard to beat, but please don;t alow that to encourage you not to get to know their early work. You can find a lot of these on BangtanTV on RUclips. You look like you may be into heavyish rock, and early BTS music was very driven, and heavily influenced by Hip Hop, but as a rock music fan I feel very at home with it.
Their early work is full of youthful defiance against the tight restrictions and extreme expectation placed on young people in Korea, where it is expected that they attend school then go on to study in academies in the evening, often working 16 to 18 hours a day plus weekends in order to get the best grades for entering a good college, make the "right" connections and get a "good" job either with the government or a big company, where, again, working hours can be very long indeed, and young people are paid little, because of some mythical animal called "passion pay" (the companies are doing THEM a favour letting them work for them).

You'll see a reference to SKY - these are the elite Korean universities, like Oxbridge here. All of their concerts were great - but I think you would love the Wembley London concert. It was epic. I really enjoyed the Brazil concert - because the Brazil Army was the most animated. They took the concert to a different level.

BTS 2019 MMA performance is definitely a fan favorite. You will probably get a lot a requests for that 1 and also their LOVE YOURSELF SPEAK YOURLF TOUR concert. There is a FULL concert vid for their Japan and I think also their Wembley show as well. Either are definitely worth watching.
I love the fact that he doesn’t care about the Korean lyrics, he looks at the visuals and meaning. It’s a good thing first time listeners should do.
We missed suga so much here, but look how they leave a space for him 💜 these guys are just so amazing. The MJ dance break killed
5:03 - is where they left Suga’s spot empty due to his having to be out several weeks/months because of shoulder surgery from a previous injury during their trainee days, before debut. All of this comeback they would somehow incorporate Suga’s presence into the performance. They TRULY are closer than brothers.

7:32= the rap voice was just played but the guy who had to do that rap part ( his name is MIN YOONGI and stage name is SUGA ). he had a shoulder injury so he was not there.
