I had cancer myself, almost 3 years in remission today. I cannot imagine having to fight appendiceal cancer for 7 years... it's incredible the fight Stuart Scott put up, absolute legend.

@@chimmychuck No, I'm past my 5 year mark now. I've changed my diet, started working out, etc. I've never felt better. I hope one day everyone can be given a 2nd chance or even better, never have to deal with cancer in the first place.

Another couple of catch phrases he said regarding dominant players:

“Don’t hate the playa, hate the game!”
These are awesome. Stuart was a huge part of my childhood growing up as a sports fan in the US. Rest in peace.
I’m from the UK and used to watch SportsCenter on ESPN UK all the time Until Stuart Scott’s untimely passing ... I just can’t bring myself to watch it anymore as it reminds me of him and makes me sad.
He was a true inspiration and I loved the way he’d bring hip hop slang and his catchphrases especially “BOOYAH” into the mainstream. He was loved across the world 🌍. He touched millions and millions of lives including mine. And he will be remembered eternally by all of us sports fans. R.I.P Stuart Scott !

Scott and Scott were great...But they don't compare to the originators KO, Patrick, Mayne, Eisen and Kilborn...The one liners those guys came up with are legendary.
