I got a pair of these, worked fine until the double sided tape let go in the heat. Also the drivers cup holder got in the way of my knee when foot was on the accelerator pedal. Cut the cup holder off and used some of the cut off to cover the steering wheel end. Used better double sided tape and put 2 screws on the lower plastic into the door. Sits like a rock now.

@@camgrayson97 cool. Glad I’m not the only one. I’m in NZ and it doesn’t get as hot here as in Aus. I bought one of the metal ones for my Troopy in Aus. Works just as well and was only about $35

I added these but can't understand why the mounting is such crap. The tiny thin bottom edge has too small an area to grip to any extent, and the top has ridges that hamper the grip as well. The driver's side is OK, because I know it's just barely on there, but after refixing the passenger side three times, I have to remind myself to tell every passenger not to but any weight on theirs

Hey mate, all the ones I've seen look like crap. The one you have is probably the best looking for factory but do they really last? They just look so flimsy. Must be a better way!

@@camgrayson97 so I went to the link and they had been sold out and superceeded by a new model that uses 3 magnets instead of the tape so bought those ones… $145.
Will also use double sided tape if required.
