Love the videos. Went and looked at a SCRAM at what is most likely the same Harley Dealer you were speaking about in your last video. I’m right over the MD boarder in WV and Gettysburg is the closest dealer to me at 75 minutes. I really liked the bike. I went in with lower expectations and left feeling like this maybe the bike for me. How was your experience with the dealer?
I did not buy mine there. I actually bought it 'used' with 300 miles on it from an owner in WV. I stopped at Battlefield one day just to check it out and the Harley emphasis was a big turn off. A local friend with a Himalayan had them do a brake caliper recall and it didn't go smoothly. I doubt I would ever need them, as these bikes are so easy to work on and I enjoy doing my own maintenance. I have another option a bit further away to the east and it was a much more welcoming place when I visited.
I've yet to take the step, but when I finally purchase a Scram, I'll appreciate your insights even more. Thanks for publishing your findings.
Thanks for the servicing tutorial. I'm itching to buy one, but riding season is done here in NH. Can't wait for spring!
