I remember visiting Augusta when my sister was in the Army and I loved visiting there because I was just glad to get away.
Oh Wow! I remember the Bell Auditorium, we use to go to Monday Night Wrestling back in 1978.
Yes, that’s amazing. WWE actually still comes and does shows here from time to time and was here last back in May.
I think Augusta should stay a family oriented town. It's perfect for that. Been here for 3 months and I noticed on the weekend ppl get on the road and travel a lot. Atlanta 2hr...Charlotte 2.5hrs...charleston 2.5 hrs....Savannah...2.5hrs...columbia 1hr. There's a lot of outlet places around Augusta. And I think with all the growth I see (been coming through here since I was a kid), Augusta maybe able to accommodate one of those big nice theme parks. They definitely got the land. But they should keep Augusta about family. Augusta is one of the most peaceful places I've ever been to. And a lot of ppl say that.
I agree, and I think a theme park or water park would do very well here to give us more to do as families without always having to travel away. Thank you for your feedback!!
You are welcome. And yes, it would do very well here. I can already see that. @@katerratherealtor
Agree! Everything being a couple of hours away 🚘 makes it perfect for me and my family.
Don't forget the Augusta Museum of History.
Ahhh yes! Thank you….think it’s time for a part 2 or updated follow up to this one.
@@katerratherealtor I love Augusta.

What about skate land and the food trucks that are at the Mayor building on Windsor Springs Rd every 3rd Friday of the month
Yes, these are good places/events to check out as well. Thank you for adding these suggestions!
Back in the 1990s
What is Macon and Columbus like?
I’m not familiar with the day to day or environment in these 2 areas.
I am from Macon. Don’t go there. It’s very dangerous if you don’t know where to go. Augusta, Atlanta and Savannah have better options for eating and hanging out.
I wonder if this is Augusta, GA area that she is talking about….
Yes, this is Augusta, Georgia.
@@katerratherealtor haha, I was just kidding around. I think you said “Augusta, GA” over 300 times. Great info though!
@@digitalbathdive ok, you had me worried there a little bit 😂
It’s a ugly side to that city too smh
