Thibs, you are the best! I started doing the snatch grip high pull about 6 or 8 months ago, after watching another of your videos, and I'm thrilled with the results! Thank you for all your teaching, brother!
Great info. I’ve long done mostly old-school style bodybuilding workouts, not really in losing Olympic lifts, but I’d like to add them into my current routine. What are three main lifts (not including squats, dead’s and bench) that I should start with and what days would be optimal to introduce them. My current split looks like this: Chest/Back Arms/Forearms Legs(w/deadlifts) Shoulders Thanks so much Thib! Huge help and inspiration!
What if you have too long arms to have the perfect snatch position? My arms are so long that even if I grab the bar as wide as possible it's still slightly below the hip crease, it's basically on my pubic bone
You will have to use a degree of arm bend or a 'pre-shrug' before the explosion so to say. Nothing problematic but you will have to rely more on raw power
Same scenario for me. Sucks, but started doing them and they are quite the add in to my routines. I can foresee the degree to which they will benefit overall physique and strength.

Excellent
Thank you!
Muscle snatches are such an amazing movement. If you do them for volume your entire posterior chain, upper back, and delts will be smoked.
it's true...from last year I used this Olympic lifts as my main workout and I gain a lot of muscle and strength also...thank you coach Thibaudeau.

Don't lifters like Tian Tao and Lu Xiaojun contact the bar with their body fairly upright?
Do u always have to do these off blocks?
What’s your favourite rep/set scheme to get maximum benefit from the shock effect? Aesthetically
