The Artful Dodger is seriously so underrated. I’ve watched it 8 times already! Bloody amazing series, amazing cast!!! Thomas and David are a perfect on-screen duo and Tim Minchin is unrecognisable!!! Maia was great and the other iconic and new Aussie cast were just brilliant. Do yourself a favour and watch it!
Yeah i've been loving it. And tbh, it makes me really want to see Thomas Brodie-Sangster play The Doctor in Doctor Who one day. Though maybe let him get a little older first.
0:29 _The Artful Dodger_ is by no means a Disney+ debut for Thomas Brodie-Sangster, thanks to his earlier voice role as Ferb Fletcher on _Phineas and Ferb._
@@VinnieVeeVeePistol was originally created by FX, which is a subsidiary of Disney+ and is only in America. Phineas and Ferb was originally Disney channel, so these are both NOT his Disney+ debut. Since The Artful Dodger was made under Star, a genre created by Disney+, it is in fact his debut to the platform.
I was very impressed with The Artful Dodger and historical portrayal of medicine. As someone who has done research and writing on projects in the sciences, I appreciated the little mentions. I'd love her to just go off on a lecture about Ignaz Semmelweis, John Snow, Pasteur, Lister (the only one who got a mention, I believe), and the nurses (good old Florence, who was more of a statistician than a nurse, by the way) who realised the doctors were going directly from the morgue to the delivery suite and killing the mothers and babies by infecting them with necrobiome. The idea goes way back with roots in religious practices, but it was ignored by 'modern medicine' and it took literally DECADES to catch on. Lovely little touches like that .. I notice and appreciate.
Best show I've seen in years, it needs to get more recognition!!! Insanely well written and so many little plot twists, I keep going back and rewatching
I literally just sent an email to the production company asking for a season two. The best series I have watched in a very long time. Cast, writing, production values are all excellent, enjoyed it very much. I want more!
Loved Artful Dodger, gotta say though, my favorite part of watching it was that it inspired me to go down a rabbit hole and research early women in medicine. There are a lot of fascinating stories that I knew nothing about.
I love love love The Artful Dogder, very incredible show, i even subs to disneyplus just to watch it and i watched it 4 times already, it a shame that they don't promote it well😭 desperately hoping for season 2
I can definitely see Thewlis as Fagin & Thomas I’ve loved in everything since he was small. His Dr Who ep. Family of Blood was really good. Two GOT actors.
This is the best show I have ever seen along with the maze runner he is my favourite character in everything, he is an amazing actor and he’s so amazing, as Jack Dawkins and newt. Him and Belle/ Mia Mitchell and Thomas are such great actors together. It’s amazing I watched it and it was so bloody amazing. I currently live in Australia and I wish I would have seen him lolz. But he’s so a,azing and the show is so good! 😩
I do watch "Love Actually" occasionally, and I still enjoy it. Nice to see that Thomas Brody-Sangster is still acting, and the Oliver Twist spin-off sounds interesting. I think Oliver Twist was one of the books I had to read in Grade 9 English. At the time, being a young teenager, I did not like it. I preferred David Copperfield, which was the Grade 10 Dickens book ... though my favourite Dickens in my retirement years is Nicholas Nickleby.
I think he looks youthful but still like an adult. He's also very tall so I think he looks more his age in real life. He can definitely still pass as early 20s easily though
Dude I swear to god I love Thomas so much I can't even- Edit: I just re-watched this and realized he said Mickey Mouse p-po-porn..what has this world come to
Of course he's had his own problem, like everyone who's ever lived, but what a great professional life he's had, unless he's stand for nothing but major stardom.
A lady once confused me with him, cause she said we looked so much alike and wanted an autograph 😂 I thought how stupid to think that, but now even I see the resemblance 😅 we have quite a similar profile, which doesn't happen often
not trying to remove the limelight out of The Artful Dodger but if anyone likes it's period-lightness-romance than you should try Miss Scarlet And the Duke♡

Tom is finally looking like he may be 20 years old...
In some interviews he looks like Harry Styles
And of course he's actually in his 30s
Lol! I was gonna say the same thing. He's finally aging past teenager.
@@faramir Dude he's my age and he looks like he could be my son. He's a vampire.
Frankly, without the costumes, make-up, proper hair style of a part, he hardly looks different than 20 years ago. Except for his voice.
Graham Norton is so good at what he does. He makes it feel like such a casual conversation while asking interesting questions.
I haven’t heard Graham’s radio show before, but it appears that he is as gifted on radio as he is in almost every other endeavour he has pursued.
Me to
How could anyone not recognise him. He hasnt changed a bit.
He always looks like he just woke up its so adorable! 💌

I started watching The Artful Dodger expecting nothing and I was pleasantly surprised, It's a great show
10:38 the fact that he had to think about his age lol😭😭

This guy deserves all the sucess in his live. Pure talent and kind. I'm too proud to be your biggest fan, Thomas ❤
He was great in Queen’s Gambit.

This series is the series no one expected but everyone needed.
Absolutely loved this. I am DESPERATE for a season 2.
He still looks the same as in his Love Actually days. Woow
He’s like part Colin firth , part Martin freeman.
Finally grew into his age.
He’s a great actor
I’ve just started watching The Artful Dodger a few days ago, loving it so far!

What a nice way to start the day watching 12.01 Thomas Sangster, I love you as much as always❤
The Artful Dodger is a really good series. The idea behind the series is good with a terrific cast weaving an interesting story line. Great show
Thomas you’re so stylish and cute and strong from the maze runner and you’re so harry style ❤
Love his works so much! He’s so talented and unique❤️ always a joy to see any new projects he might have.

I hope we get a second season!
He looks like he's about 14. That can't be easy as a 33 year old man.
Its probably really helpful in his profession though

@marias.wainwright3481 My little almost 34 year old brother also still looks very very boyish.
@@asavannah7439 ah then yeah I guess sometimes they just have that youth potion like that, lucky them
HE STILL LOOKS SO YOUNG! HOW!? i need a season two! also Thomas, congarts on your engagement!
I loved the artful dodger and hope there will be a second season!
❤️❤️
I hope we get more seasons of The Artful Dodger, I loved the show!!🇧🇷
I loved artful dodger. It was such a fun entertaining ride with the bit of classic romance
I worked with his dad for yrs very sweet :)
He is and will always be Ferb to me
Yep. Any time I see him, it’s the kid from Love Actually lol
Artful Dodger is wondrous!!
The Maze Runner, Doctor Who... the gent does work.
I want him to play Sting in a biopic.
Yo soló quiero una entrevista de Thomas y Maia porque no encuentro ninguna 😢 me encantó su trabajo en el show ❤
Of course he still gets recognized, he looks 1:1 the way he looked back then!
He's a British Gary Coleman.
Damn, I want to watch the Artful Dodger!
Artful Dodger is fantastic. It is so funny.
Nanny McPhee
Loved this. I subscribed and hope The Graham Norton Radio Show will show up often
I love this show so much!

There was The Further Adventures of Oliver Twist back in the 80s, which follows the original story immediately
Wow he's finally reached his twenties in looks but still got a baby face but he certainly looks no where near 30
Nancy loved Dodger too.
Our daddy is finally home. THOMASSSSSS
Dude I swear to god I love Thomas so much I can't even-
Edit: I just re-watched this and realized he said Mickey Mouse p-po-porn..what has this world come to
OMG HE LOOKS LIKE AN ADULT NOW HOLY SHIT BUT HE STILL LOOKS LIKE 13 TOO IDK HOWWW
Excellent show.
Hello Graham. Bryce Courtenay did this before - "The Potato Factory".
I guess the book is based on the real person that Dickens based Fagin on
FERB!!!
Thomas was great in The Last Legion.
Darn just when I’m considering cancelling Disney. This QT3.14 makes a series.
Wasn't he Paul McCartney in Nowhere Boy?
Yes
Of course he's had his own problem, like everyone who's ever lived, but what a great professional life he's had, unless he's stand for nothing but major stardom.
Love it
Just googled young Graham Norton and these guys actually look quite similar..

Thanks!
Pls a second season
Since it’s set in Australia did it premiere in Australia?
That’s Ferb
Yep
He is incorrect about Mickey Mouse being public domain after 50 years. Only the 1928 Steamboat Willie version of the mouse has become public domain.
Have you seen him, he looks even now the same
Hi Tom are you still driving that DS on french Plates?
Steamboat Willy version, which is very basic (B/W) so, different from what we have come to know, but, very close.
I can't believe Newt is 33. (And it is Steamboat Willy that's out of copyright, not actual Mickey Mouse.)
Wikipedia has Station Jim on it
WHAT WATER IS HE DRINKING 😭😭
I WANNA KNOW TOO 😭
he looks like 12 still omg 😅
He’s so hot!! 😍 why does he have to be married 😢
He used to permanently 14 and now he looks like a 40 year old that looks like a 14 year old
comment how old he looks here tho im actually curious
15-16
@@JJelijam I see...
Scott Farkus?
Just the original black and white Mickey Mouse cartoon, the original, and I wish the copyright never had stopped. Slasher movies, so wrong.
How the hell is he 33…..he barely looks 20.
I know - I remember he starred with Colin Firth in The Last Legion aged 16 and he straight up looked 12!
I only just learned today this li'l boy is in his thirties
Apparently I am attracted to guys who look like Bjork
Interesting, just realized his jail sentence was 15 years and the show starts 15 years later… non sequitur of course
Just started The Artful Dodger and it is so good! loved him since Love Actually & will watch anything he is in!
esse cara que esta entrevistando o thomas parece o lula kkkkkkkkkk
Even when he married or old
Thomas doesn’t age at all
