in a way maybe, but in a way even personality can be tied to this - typically people, especially those sucfessful in business, have a very specific personality that is not very compatible with many but others with that same personality because they will understand. Who will best understand the struggles, stresses, mentality, and priorities of successful people? other successful people. There is a chance compatibility could be found between someone with high career success vs. an average job, but they're not as high. so by looking from a pool of only successful people, others who are successful (under the definition of career) have a much higher probability of finding compatibility quickly and easily.

The whole concept is pretentious, and I can't believe how the founder is defending it. Finding a match shouldn't be limited to how wealthy/intelligent/powerful someone is. It should be about truly loving someone.

There are other dating apps that target a specific crowd, such as Black People Meet and Christian Mingle, that target blacks looking for other blacks and christians looking for other christians. so I suppose it's fair a successful (and yes, perhaps pretentious) person should seek another like him/herself. There are plenty of other apps for "normal" people like Zach, Daysha, Jen or myself XD
What I don't agree with is how the app defends rejecting someone by insulting them. THAT is very wrong.

You'd think that ambitious people going somewhere with their lives wouldn't need a dating app to find a suitable partner.
It's meant to find good connections for ones business or career, it seems. It also keeps creepers from going after people who aren't looking for a one-night-stand and are actually looking for a partner at their level.
Normally I'd respect that, but LinkedIn seems to serve the general public just fine with business/career connections. Idk this just seems like an app for haughty recluses. Anyone with true ambition and initiative likely wouldn't even be on a dating app. You approach people in the real world, make connections through friends, etc.
An app like this just further segregates people with classist and ridiculous standards that seem rather arbitrary to me. I mean, I don't care if people use it. It's just a matter of thinking about what kind of people you're going to find on this app, anyway.
A lot of business people travel, so it's hard for them to find a partner. In airline magazines you'll see multiple professional matchmaker services.
