Josh Scott had 80+ amps from his collection profiled, and this pack has 6 of his favorites. These profiles are really well done, and are some of the best I've ever heard.

What do you use for the cabinets with these models?
Do you notice a big difference in the “feel” of a modeling amp, compared to a tube amp? Or is this just psychosomatic, do you think?
It's hard to compare because the Kemper captures the recorded sound of a guitar, not the "in the room" sound. So when you play through it, you're hearing what you'd hear if you were mic'ing up the amp and listening to it recorded, not what you'd hear standing in the room next to it. A cranked tube amp will always feel more fun to me, but that sensation doesn't translate to what's recorded through a microphone. That's a very different sound, and that's what the Kemper nails.
If the mic'd tube amp is sitting in a sound proof room and you're sitting and playing in the control room the feel of the Kemper profile and mic'd tube amp is pretty much identical.
For the "amp in the room" real amp experience you'll need either a Powered Kemper into a guitar cabinet or an unpowered Kemper into the Kemper 200w powered Kabinet!

Man, my Kemper sounded like a fartbox. I just couldn't wait to get rid of it. It sounded all muffled, like someone put a blanket over my headphones.

@@logopneumatika I wasn't talking about Josh's Kemper for Gods sake. I was talking about my own Kemper. It was most probably a defective unit, which is why I returned it in the first place. You obviously have reading comprehension disorder of some sort.
Lol I’ve literally never had that issue with my Kemper. You must have dud profiles or set something wrong, using a wrong input who knows
