Amen on the Kinky Curly in the tub!!! I hate any products in the tub harder to manage in the shower.
I watch quite a few curly hair posts but........DAMN GIRL!!! You are by far the most blessed, talented & fairest of them all! Thank you for helping me (middle aged, silver, curly, long haired dude) out with getting my own locks into shape. It's not so much about what products you use but your well executed, technical styling tutorials. It's obviously working cos 2 days back a neighbour said I could sell my hair if push came to shove. Please don't give up as your teachings are spot on! 🏳️🌈🇬🇧🏴❤️
This is such a sweet msg!! Thank you so much, it really means a lot💗💗💗. So happy these techniques work for your hair! I appreciate your kind words so much
Thank you so much!!! I did not know I could add kinky curly with Lus before I watch your videos. I could not get past day one and now I am on day two!!! I just started the curly girl method and you are helping me so much.
Your videos are so good! I’ve watched all of them! My whole routine is pretty much different tips & tricks I’ve got from you. Please keep uploading different techniques & products you’ve tried out. Good & bad!
Thank you!! I appreciate your comment so much💗💗
I love this! I’ve been struggling with the LUS all in one, but I love the shampoo and conditioner. I have a lot of hair too. I do layer with gel for more hold, but I’m going to try using more of the all in one and see if that helps.
I recently tried the wavy vs the curly. the curly def has more hold. I have it on my IG @curly_n_fab
Finding your videos REALLY useful as you have, what seems to be, very similar hair to me. You have a lot more of it, but the texture looks the same. Thanks for the easy to follow hints and tips. So helpful 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much!!!
The glycerin!! I had never thought about it that way! I'm definitely going to change that around, I live in a super humid area and my curls tend to fall very easily due to my length.
Wow you always have the best tips!! Thank you so much for this very informative video. Please make more! I wish my hair would have this volume. Maybe I’m plopping too long 🤷🏼♀️. How long do you usually plop before you diffuse?? Thanks again girl. You’re so beautiful. Love your smile!
Thank you sooo much! Usually it’s wet plopped for 10-15 minutes in the shower cap. I don’t dry plop (with a T-shirt or micro towel). I just kind of scrunch out any excess water after removing my shower cap with t shirt if I need to. I hope that makes sense lol
Wow your hair is beautiful!
Hi there, i just came across your video this morning! I'm just learning how to embrace my waves and im 33! 🤪. you keep mentioning this Kinky Curly product.. im not certain if you had already mentioned this in your videos, but do you swear by this product? I have thick hair like you, my hair is long, will this this kinky curl help with the curl since my hair is heavy? I just purchased the steps 1,2, and 3 from Lus curls as well as the deep conditioner. Thanks so much 🥰
It’s my favourite gel, but everyone’s hair is different. You could have thick low porosity hair, mine is high porosity.
I am a LUS Brands user and LOVE the smell of their products! I was wondering if the gel you're using covers up the LUS scent once your hair is dry? I'm looking to buy a CG approved gel but don't want to sacrifice the desired scent. Thanks!
You can still smell the Lus through the gel☺️
Goorgeouus! ❤️😭 I want haaaiiirr!
Greate video! Beautiful curls! Thank you for sharing❤
Easy routine and hair looks great
Thank you Debbie!!
Which products do you use for coloured hair? I have highlights but I am not sure which shampoo, conditioner or mask to use, if you can advise please 🙂
Do you like the curly or kinky/ curly better? What do you think the difference is? I have kinky and I like it but wondering how he curly would do....
I’ve only tried the wavy and curly, there’s a difference in the thickness of the creams. A little more control as you go up in levels
I have a question🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️can you tell me if you think it's ok to wet plop over night? It's a question I have been wondering about...😟🤔and the results for this routine are so stunning ..your hair is goals ...🌞❤❤
@@s4hg663ws mold? 😯 what? Why
Cheryl Boyd sleeping with wet hair not good for your health!
@@sossomelkonian7821 why is it not good for your health?
@@cherylboyd1811 Wet plopping overnight is a bad idea for several reasons. Like Shelby Webb Simmons mentioned mold can become an issue. Mold grow ANYWHERE that is wet for a long period of time. Women have experienced mold and bacteria growth on their scalps from wet plopping, this can result in an itchy scalp & more serious issues. Another reason why you shouldn't wet plop is that hair is weakest when wet. It has more elasticity which pulls the curls and causes breakage plus it is prone to hygral fatigue when wet for too long. Which causes your hair to be limp and not able to hold a curl. Fixing hygral fatigue can take months of protein treatments and trying not to over-moisture your hair. All that being said, wet plopping for about 10 minutes is good because it gives your hair time to soak up the product but your goal after that is to get it dry in a reasonable amount of time whether air-drying or diffusing! If you have anymore questions I'm here to help :)
@@ClassiqueFinds yes but what's the difference then - when we let our hair air dry ? Because we are standing up😟 ? I'm confused..I listen to people say" it took hours for my hair to air dry" soooo- it because we are laying down? 🤔weirrrd
Have you tried any other gels with LUS.? Kinky Curly takes so long to dry.
I’ve tried the Garnier fructis pure clean gel, as well as curlsmith shower fixer. The shower fixer is great for definition but leaves my hair more frizzy than the Garnier fructis. I still prefer kccc to both though
Damn your hair is amazing!
Thank you for your kindness 💗💗
Can I ask where you got that shower cap? I can't find one big enough for my hair and my noggin! That one looks perfect
Hi Tracy, thank you for the reminder! I meant to link it above. It’s now in the description :)
@@curlynfab5120 thank you. Sold out, but have added it to my watch list!
Do you only use the LUS shampoo and conditioner products every time you shampoo or do you use other shampooing products too?
Christy Caldwell at the time of filming this I was only using LUS, I wash once a week. More recently I’ve only been using it to clarify, about once or twice a month
@@curlynfab5120 Thank you for the quick response! Can you tell me what you use now for regular shampooing and conditioning?
The shampoo isn’t curly girl friendly so that’s an issue if you are strictly doing the curly girl method. I love the products. I use the curly as well. I absolutely love the smell. To me it smells like baby powder
The shampoo is cgm approved.
The LUS shampoo is absolutely curly girl friendly😁
Is this the 3rd step after conditioner your doing in the shower
Yup!
HEY,saw your refresh video and i am amazed!!! you refresh on dry hair! i have never seen that before, how come most girls wet their hair first and then add products to refresh? thank you!
I agree 👍🏼 a refresh should save time in between a full wash and style. Soaking and redoing I figure you mine as well just jump back in the shower
Thank you for the video! Can’t wait to try!! Also not to be mean, but I was taught you dye carpets and you color hair. Thank you!!
First off I lubbbb your hair, but I’m curious to see you try styling with a denman brush. :)
I could try it! I’ll add it to my list of new content ☺️
I can't get this system to do anything close to anyone else's results and its infuriating. I've been using this stuff for a year and I can't get the results I want.
Where do you buy your kinky curly?
I get mine at BSW, it was on sale this week! bswbeautyca.com/
You brought up porosity and amount of product used. How does this affect the amount of product you use? Would you use more product or less with low porosity hair? Thanks
You would use less product with low porosity hair
@@curlynfab5120 Thanks so much! That makes sense!
I've come to the conclusion I'm frizzy only, no curl, no wave, its meant to be frizzy and that's it. A year of this stuff and it doesn't work for me.
