Lzzy Hale is one of the best vocalists I've ever heard or seen and I've worked with some of the finest there are. In fact the entire band are exceptional. They write, record, tour, write, record, tour with very little time off and have done since they started out. Absolutely relentless worth ethic that more bands should think of doing. I have no idea how she can sung like she does night after night, month after month, year after year.
Do u like her with The Hu, "Song of Women"? It's drop-u-to-your-knees (like a KING) amazing. Sublime vocals floating over Mongolian throat singing & way amazing!!
Maybe genetic...hereditary strong vocal chords. Anyone that can come in over 5 Mongolian folk metal throat singers has got it in her very BLOOD!!
First time I watch a performance from Halestorm. I am damn impressed. Lizzy grat voice. Awesome on guitar as well. Brother Arejay exceptional drummer, and Joe with the raunching guitar sound. Impreesed. Keep rocking guys!🤟🏼

It's either just front of house nat sound or the soundboard, neither of which captures anything the crowd is doing.
Ive been to more rock shows than i can count. Halestorm ranks right up there with the best. These guys are awesome. Lizzy is a powerhouse. Her brother on drums is phenomenal!
Some guys here has no idea what's mean to sing with this very strong voice 1.5 hours at a concert nearly every day and in the '' free time '' you have to exercise your vocal. Please let us be fair a little bit... It's a hard job

Not realizing that its been mixed and mastered to sound perfect......

The drummer is simply Amazing!! he doesn't overplay, but he puts on a tremendous show just by himself
Been about 3 years now... but no live show of Halestorm ever gets old... they are all masterpieces.
How in the world does she do this on tour?? She is breaking every vocal performance rule. My mind is blown.
For all those fools complaining about Lzzy"s voice not being what they think it should be, we'll be waiting for your vid of you doing it any better.. I'm 40 minutes in, and she is the best female rock singer I've heard in ..forever!! She just gets better and better as she heats up!!
to ssolo8 I agree the nitpicking over her voice boggles my mind, I have no idea if this is towards the end of a long tour she has the energy to put on a very worthy show. I wonder how many of these critics of her have not had a few days to weeks of what they consider sub par. As a former SEAL I have experienced the same after having 4 hrs of sleep in 4-5 days. After all it is you the people who want to see them and if not for the demand maybe Lizzie could give her voice a brief break. Thank you
I've heard from a couple, who attended that show, that it's this recording that sucks soundwise. That it sounded so much better at the actual event...and that the Kalamazoo gig actually might have been their best to date.
I think people fail to realize that there is a natural pitch change in recordings, where the signal is being recreated rather than amplified
While this is true she still doesnt hit the long streaks in I am the fire for instance. That has nothing to do with recording. They do SO MANY liveshows naturally she cant do it to perfection every single time. But it doesnt matter, it is still incredible and amazing at 98%. She is a Goddess none the less and I cant fucking wait until october where I will finally attend one of their shows. Superhype.

Powerful. Even if it‘s not their best performance they‘re still fantastic and I love to watch this. Lzzy is amazing and her voice is unique, it was not her best day maybe but she still sounded so fucking good, nobody compares to her. They played an awesome show and I bet all of you haters would be going craaazzzyyyy and having the night of your life if you had been there. I love you halestorm. Arejay is kinda my spirit animal tho

When a band is better live and raw than in the records is a sign that we have really talented people infront of us, and in times of autotune and shitty music Halestorm is a beacon of light. "Man...I can't believe I saw these guys up front at Harpo's in Detroit back I think in the early 90's ? "Wich was a killer...high energy show." They had a meet and greet area set up after the show that was cool as hell. I was able to meet all members, the drummer gave a snare head and all of them signed it! They have stuck together and rocked their 'ASSES 'off for years now. I just come across this video today and I'm blown away of the intense show they put on here in KaZoo, reminds me of when I saw them many years ago."Way to go Halestorm!"

I saw 'em in Flint at the Machine Shop. Much smaller, but better crowd...lol... they were great.
I doubt it was the early 90’s. Lzzy was 10 in 93 and the band wasn’t put together until 97. Not saying you didn’t see them and this didn’t happen but your time line is off.
I just got into this band and thought id never find a good band again. But instead I found what I see as the best band ever, I tell you AJ is a great damn drummer. I only wish they play my state but hell Oklahoma isn't to far to see them. THANK YOU HALESTORM

18:36 When she starts I Get Off, a capella, she's in the exact same key as the band and never wavers. She has perfect pitch, a very strong voice and great singing technique.
And the fry, which may be something not often heard on her albums (I admit not having listened closely, but I don't remember a fry in her concept videos), is pretty close to Dioesque.
I saw them in California at the Troubadour , just starting out , but I was on my way back home to NC, I knew then this band was going to be GREAT.
