Deck was very cool but I was a little taken aback that the deck almost always needs to pass the turn after doing the combo. After looking though possible creatures to add to the Monstrous Vortex chain, I think a card overlooked is Majestic Myriarch. With a couple extra haste creatures in the deck I think it would become a very consistent way to kill the turn you combo (assuming that you don't draw Majestic Myriarch).
It's indeed a creature I've overlooked since it doesn't normally show up in search results. There is however a pretty unfortunate fail case where we don't have enough creatures on the battlefield for it to Discover into more stuff. If Imoti is the only creature in play when we cast any of our 5-drops, then hitting Myriarch will stop the Discover chain (since it's only a 2/2 on the stack). So while the dream scenario of an instant win is quite appealing I don't thing it's worth the extra inconsistency since our deck is unlikely to have 3+ creatures in play.
@LegenVD oh I completely missed that aspect of Monstrous Vortex because I was focusing on the mana value part of the card. You are right that it becomes too inconvenient when it will actually stop the chain most of the time.

Surrak and Goreclaw as a haste enabler to win instantly? I play a non meme Imoti deck in paper but I think Surrak and Goreclaw is still a perfect wincon in this deck to allow you to kill in the same turn you cascade chain.
As a 6-drop we can't Discover into it reliably. Would need to cast it first, then resolve our Vortex, and then cast another large creature which is too slow in most cases. Because if we have Vortex in play and try to cast Surrak and Goreclaw from hand, everything would resolve before it hits the battlefield.
@@LegenVD Ah that makes sense, forgot all the creatures you were using were 5 power. Thanks for clarification!
I wonder how's LVD opinion on Balatro
The sheer number of players who use emotes only to be poor sports has me wondering if emotes as a whole in Arena were a mistake.
just played some asshole using this deck and roping every single cascade trigger, game went over an hour, i just read comics while waiting
Did you have fun?
☹️ 😊
I watch every single video as my nightly ritual for a long ass time. i watch them fully and am sad when they end. but this one? couldn't take it for more than one game.. just stupid xD do nothing until one play either instantly wins you the game or your opponent has the correct interaction and you instantly loose. NICE the excitement is through the roof. not to mention every single sweeper looses you the game instantly and playing my emmara token deck taught me even aggro decks run sweepers nowadays
Commandeer could be helpful
Good point! Forgot that card has been added. Might still be tricky to cast for free though, the deck leans more towards green.
0:51 how is it "guaranteed" to find you monstorous vortex?
Oh I see. Bc it's cheaper than the cost of the commander... if it's the only card that does that then it'll automatically find it... wow!
hello mtg enjoyers
Definitely not recommended for mobile. Clicking through creatures would be hell. 😅
I feel like playing this on paper you'd win when people start seeing you try to calculate all the new entries. No self respecting player has time for all that nonsense!
And here I thought game 1 oppo had a crwzy turn 😂
Simic is disgusting
basao
mtga sure has gotten degenerate
So boring to play and play against:(
Wtf was that
silly
vortex is one of those one card combos that shouldn't exist
thanks modern horizons for ruining magic
It's so vulnerable to removal though lmao
Oh cry about it. Magic has gotten cards that “broke the game” since the beginning.
@@trentonpeters8589 are you honestly going to argue modern horizons didn't break the game after the recent bans?
I don't like single cards that can go 'infinite', sorry. Even broken cards of the early years don't do that very often.
it's even uncommon, which like... ok, feels like higher complexity than shivan dragon, but ok.
MH is just unfun busted.
The "craziest deck" it's just a UG ramp deck xD
Is it "just" that though? Look how the mana value of creatures was crafted.
Brawl video = unsubscribed
Happy new year
