For my car, only the door lock button on the driver seat not responding to either key fob or the switch inside the car. As a result, I have to manually use my key to lock/unlock my car whenever I leave/return to my vehicle. The key fob is working, but in order for it to lock the door, all 4 doors need to be locked first, so I’m not sure what the issue is. I read somewhere people saying that could be a bad door actuator specifically for that side of the door. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

I have a 1996-2000 Honda Civic EJ9, key fob remote aint locking or unlocking the doors and the driver door key hole lock isnt turning so not unlocking or locking using the key in the door key hole lock too. I have sprayed the key hole lock in the door with brake cleaner and then with white lithium grease spray and worked the key in the lock to get the lithium grease into the lock barrel but still no luck, please help bro 😢
As you have talked about back up fuse #7. I replaced it and problem solved for a month or so. Now same problem is back. I thought I can follow the same procedure, but problem remains. It did NOT work this time. Any suggestions?

You could be right about the door actuator being the issue, I would check the wiring to see if it's disconnected or damaged.

Something must be blowing the fuse and you can also make sure the fob didn't loose it's program. Swap door relay

Check to make sure you put the battery in the right way. It may be upside down
The door button is working but the key fob is not working. So according to the video the backup fuse next to door lock fuse need to be replaced?

What is the cause of the key fob battery dying fast and when I close the driver side door all doors lock automatically

Yo. FYI. If you look in between the rows of fuses. There’s numbers.
07 civic driver door locks and unlocks with key. It unlocks with key and driver button. But driver wont lock with key fob or button. Please help?

Yes the key fob works. It does lock & unlock

It could be a fuse or the master switch. Try locking and unlocking each door individually with their respective door switches.
Tried everything in the video and replaced my door lock actuator. The key and the door will unlock the car but both lock buttons still don’t work
