Yeah, I somewhat agree. It's hard to keep the same pace when you're 4 people who all want different playstyles and outcomes from the game.

For me being not very good at the game because i barely played it, not getting much into it., i started to play it today again with a friend who knows everything about the game. Every nook and cranny. Every class.. really everything.
She then pulled me into the Arena and only said at the beginning. Yeah we have to beat those 4 enemies now. We fought. Won and then: "And now we have to fight each other and the winner gets a perk and is a champion for the rest of the game."
Me who absolutely hates PvP especially in these kind of games and even worse when i know next to nothing, obviously hated it right away. Told her i will not like it. You are about to ruin the game completely for me and it doesn't matter to me who wins. It ruins it. Completely.
I warned her 4 times. And she continued. Obviously absolutely annihilated me, since she as i said knows everything about my class and my weaknesses and on purpose built her character for this moment.
Yeah. And as expected. I was not even a step close enough to attack her and she oneshotted me with her ice mage whatever it was. Game ruined. Every little fun i was painstakingly trying tobuild up with her because i hated running after someone else non stop not knowing what is going on. Gone. Gone in an instant. Thanos snapped out of existence.
I saved the game for her, so she feels good and closed the game. Knowing i will not pull up that save anymore and probably won't play the game with her at all anymore. This is how the game pretty much at the very least put a huge dent in my friendship with her because she willingly put it on the line.
