Hi...why do I have cracks on the sides when I do extensions with lower forms.😭.after 2 days..and what would you suggest to use on the 'tramplin' nails, for the extensions on the lower forms

Hi Kate, sorry to hear you're having issues with this! Cracking can occur for a number of reasons. It may be because the product is being applied too thickly, causing the Gum Gel to crack quickly. You should also ensure you build a proper apex for strength, as Maya shows in the tutorial above. Pressing too heavily on the sides of the nails can cause this stress point to thin out too much, which can lead to cracking. We also advise ensuring only a small amount of slip solution is used for best adhesion to the nail. In any case, we'd advise following along with Maya's tutorial above and working along in time with her to practice application :)

Can I apply gum gel over nail extension. For example. If I stick fail nail on my natural nail then can I apply gum gel over fake nail..rest same steps

I don't have the cleanser solution, so I used water but the hair on the brush started getting stuck into the gel and coming off of the brush.

Hi, I really like the gum gel. Can you tell me if its beneficial to take off each time or infill? And if you are able to infill... how so? Thanks

Hi Thersea :) You can infill yes if you're comfortable with doing this.
You’ll want to file off your top coat first (and your colour coat if you’re changing the gel polish colour too). Apply your gel extension product in the gap. Even out the product over your nail and, once happy, cure for 60 seconds LED/2 minutes UV. You’ll then be ready to file, shape and continue with your gel manicure to complete your look.

So many beautiful alternative dual forms available on the market to techs yet, Bluesky continually only stock this bog standard curved shape in the kits. They need to step up their game and offer alternatives like stiletto, coffin and almond dual forms. They also need to offer 4 x 60g gels in the kit and ditch the nail file, cuticle pusher and orange stick. They’re way cheaper and better quality elsewhere. I’ve got them and they’re not worth having. The nail file falls apart really fast including peeling up at the corners and the brush is nothing special. Overall, it’s not good value for money.
One product that’s not in the kit is a base coat gel. Bluesky basecoat is great quality and I’d highly recommend it. It’s more cost effective at the 15ml size.
