I’m probably subscribed to 40 or 50 toy channels on RUclips and hands-down TSOT is the best footage and most entertaining among all of them! The creative/professional editing is what takes it above all the others. Some TV shows don’t have that level of creativity. And lastly keep using the skeletor interlude when you guys make a mistake. Thats yet another clever touch, I really enjoy.
Thanks Peter that means a lot. We wish we had more subs and views but the comments and viewers we do have are all quite discerning, a lot of great collectors and toy dealers seem to watch the show. We would love to do more but Joe finds the tours out of his own pocket (travel, food, accommodation) and Matt puts a lot of time in to make it as good as possible in a short time frame. Editor (Skeletor) made by dear Gav is still in the office (voiced by Matt) but he’s a bit worse for wear 😂 Although there is a rumour he’s being poached for another 80s project next year. Thanks for your support and it means a lot you’ve put us at the top of your toy channels. Some great episodes still to come and 2025 has some pretty sweet specials in store ✊
Totally agree with that, I've said it many times to myself, this show could've been a BBC 1 program on a daily basis during the week in the afternoon on tv.
@@peterengelen2794Thanks Peter. The irony is TV is pretty much a closed shop with so many gate keepers. There’s usually 50 people in the credits for a show like this with Producers, Exec Producers etc at the top down to the editor at the bottom. This is pretty much a one man production team (and yes it does show in places😂) but a TV channel would turn its nose up at something like TSOT even though it costs a fraction, probably a 20th of a terrestrial TV Show. That’s ok though, advertising is moving from broadcast to online and so TV will shrink in the long run and ultimately suffer from being an old boys network. The flip side benefit for us is that by not being on a TV channel we have complete control, it’s as long as it needs to be, we don’t have to blur out logo’s or worry about brands, and no one can tell Matt that the jokes are too old to air 😂 Seriously it’s really nice to hear you guys praise the show and say it could be on TV as that’s the aim, the old values broadcasting values of Educate, Entertain & Inform. For a failed TV cameraman/editor it’s great to read such supportive comments. and have a loyal audience 👍
Thank you very much guys you sprung a nostalgic memory of a cartoon show I forgot about which was star blazers. I remembered the show but couldn't remember the name so could never look it up 😅
We didn’t get Space Battleship Yamato / Star Blazers in UK so those toys are super scarce over here… but there’s nothing stopping us getting a few now eh? 😂
This series just keeps getting better and better. Well done lads. Congrats on buying that whole toy section. Waiting with baited breath for the next episode. Thanks guys.
I had a great time having Matt, Joe and Billy over at my place. It was late in the evening but nevertheless we managed to talk about toys, have some beers and even an improvised dinner 😂. Glad you all got to pick up some stuff ... although I never received the question, how much for all 😅. Hope to see you guys soon! Regards, Laszlo
Another great episode! Can’t wait to see what was in the warehouse when Joe gets it back to Leicester. Never seen that winged bull toy before either. Very cool! Great plastic man T-shirt too Matt 👏
Billy is great but you cant beat Gav, for a start they both looked like a comedy duo act with matching hair and glasses. Gav's "Wierd Stuff!" toy fascination was fun.
What a Sunday treat, a brilliant watch as always guys. I feel like there should be a whole series of just van travel footage of Matt and Billy trading puns and Joe attempting more haggles with unwavering sellers😂
Thanks Ryan, some great Billy & Matt scenes on the cards and when they finally make it home to Leicester in the last episode it all goes a bit bonkers! Stay tuned & thanks for watching this far!
Matt’s favourite so far too… maybe because it’s back on the “Tour” part of Toy Shop on Tour or maybe because he liked The X Files 😅 Thanks for watching
His prices were all over the place, get the feeling he really doesn't want to sell anything so pulls mad prices out of the air. The second deal was superb, what a buy.
I think me and Joe were both pretty happy with our deals from him. Not everybody is blowing out their stock for pennies, nor is anybody obligated to. Personally, I can't wait to shop with Markus again! Agreed - Joe's warehouse deal was absolutely superb!
@@billygalaxytoys yeah I’d go back to see Markus, a great guy and so much to see but I saw a box on the footage I didn’t see whilst I was there……. And that one i definitely want to look in……😍
Yet again, another epic video. The 10k buyout was a no trainer, clearly a lot of work but will all pay off, even if just for the Zooland display,(Please, please, please make a video of the pick up). No offence to Gav,but Billy makes the show better and the chemistry between the 2 of you is much more natural. Matt little cameos also are great. TSOT 3,is the best thing you've done so far. Can't wait till next week
Nice big purchase! I wish I had a warehouse full of toys. Nah, i'm happy with just my Thundercats and Silverhawks. That Lion-O bootleg looks great by the way!
TEN BIG ONES! Ten thousand dollarinees! Ten thooousand donuts! Now that's the Real Deal! I've learned a lot from watching these finely crafted entertaining and educational TSOT films. One thing I've learned: when it comes to vintage plastic, one has to speculate to accumulate! The stuff don't come cheap, Your Honour! Another thing I've learned: your intrepid adventurer needs a hands-free battery operated torch wherefore to illuminate his way! If memory serves (Skeletor can correct if I've misremembered) Joe previously offered £10K on-camera for a whole Godzilla collection (Cosmic Toys?) but possibly the custodian was not minded to let go of it. My favourite piece shown this episode: that signed Dick Dale LP - Mr Pulp Fiction! Unleash S3 EP Five!
Blimey you have been watching closely, with an illuminated magnifying glass? Do you mean The Editor (any likeness to an actual character is purely coincidental!) Yes you’re right the previous 10k for Godzilla at Cosmic Toys was declined but we’re glad we got this one over the line. Thanks for watching.
I think you made a great deal on the warehouse buy. So many odd things there. I'll be interested to see how it plays out but I think you'll do very well on the deal.
Joe, Thanks again for selling your Dick Dastardly car, it is treasured. I look forward to seeing what ‘Italian blown plastic’ cars were in those other boxes in your new warehouse 🥳

Both Billy and Joe were in pretty respectable bands back in the day and had many adventures we can’t go into here. There’s a bit more of Billy’s back story in Ep 1 of a Toy Store Near You 👍
We would have loved to cover that in the show but Matt had to go back to his day job & Joe and his pal Johnnie had their hands full doing the round trip in two vans! They did cover it in an episode of “Toy Amigos”. One day when we get a production budget we hope to bring more big toy collection pick ups
