I have a question, I found an empty Luke hilt and I'm slowly building it. What size screws are used for the switch box?

I have no idea. Lemme go check.

Ok, they're Philips machine screws, about a half inch long, and 1/16 of an inch wide. They don't line up to a round number in metric, so I think the English are the actual numbers. I have no idea how to measure the thread.

Best comment so far was from my buddy Matt. "So, you can rebuild a lightsaber, but you can't install your own washer and dryer?"

This may be a long shot but do you have any tips on how to unscrew the pommel? Mine is screwed on tight and I’ve tried everything I can think of to heat the metal to help it expand and loosen with no luck 😨 any ideas would be much appreciated!

On mine, it just unscrews. Yours is jammed? Maybe a pair of pipe wrenches? The danger with trying that, of course, is that you might crush the soft aluminum tube, and jam the battery pack in there. And unless you wrap it with rubber bands or something first, you'll scratch the heck out of it. But you could just call that battle damage. :)
