Been going to Landmark since the 1980s and it's definitely come a long way. Definitely worth the drive up. Aberdeen used to have an identical coaster called the crazy Train but it was removed about 6 years ago.
Loved the dinosaur exhibit! When my son was little he would have LOVED this! There was a traveling dinosaur sophisticated show, etc... around theUS .. it started maybe 6-8 years ago... but my son is 19... anyway, I also loved the butterfly house too... I just love butterflies.... loved watching you jump off the tower...lol..
48:45 a little bit of trivia, that building used to host a multiscreen theatre back in the day in the 80s and 90s, I remember going into it once growing up, I’m not sure when it was changed to bamboozeleum.
I loved the water coasters when i was younger, they have been there for years and years. Had no idea they have a coaster now, I'll have to go back for nostalgias sake
The water ride is actually pretty old, I remember going on it with my dad around 2008 with my younger brother. He thought he'd take us on falcon cause of the shorter queue. Once we'd finished we realised why it had the shortest queue 🤣
I now live local to Landmark, nice to see you cover it! It provides amazing days out for me and my daughter but nothing compares to Alton Towers, I used to live in Staffordshire. We make regular trips there. It’s a long drive but worth it!
bit of a different type of place! i kinda like it ! in the woods / forest ! different thin gs to do , nice change from the typical amusement/ theme parks on TPW ! nicely done video !! oops almost forgot TRUMMEL TUNNEL IN THE FOREST ! I THINK THAT WAS A NICE TOUCH AS WELL ! ALONG WITH THAT WATERFALL IN THAT ROCK THINGY!!
Red squirrels are pretty elusive so not surprising you didn't see any, also that dinosaur trick works through the video Look forward to your loch ness video
I am in Glasgow and actually never visited this or Codonas! You could visit Blair Drummond Safari Park in Stirling they have few amusement rides. There is also a fairground in Falkirk Stadium (ran by Taylors of Edinburgh) for a few weeks. For M&DS the Mobys Revenge (dingy slides) only one slide is open at the moment, don't know if its changed since I went.
What a neat park. Shame Charlotte wasn’t there to film you coming down on that 10 metre platform. 😂😂 looking forward to the Loch Ness video. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I live next to the park and as much as I love it the location of the park has massive potential to be a park similar to alton towers with its natural beauty.
Look at this place. Its beautiful. In the trees honestly some people with lots of money should turn this into a big park. So much room, location. A big wooden coaster would be absolutely perfect here. Only problem i see is the climate really.
Center park should have that type of roller coaster with a kids drop tower, kids bumper cars, bounty, gyro swing, log flume, star flyer and a jump and smile also they should have a train and buses take you a round.
I kinda wish there were more parks in countries like Scotland A mountain coaster would fit perfectly and maybe even a boomerang I just kinda wish they had more parks
Before they put Orion in Kings Island there was a exhibit there called "Dinosaurs Alive" but most of them were stiff and not as fluid as those at Landmark really cool Shawn!
Great park and brilliant vlog Shawn. You were especially brave on the high rope courses. I am not good with heights. The highest for me would be the medium.
If you like the Bamboozeleum you might enjoy camera obscura in Edinburgh! Edinburgh also has a lot of historical areas and buildings of interest (lots of stuff in the National Museum of Scotland) that may be good for your adventure shawn channel too and I think Charlotte would love Gorgie Farm!
As if you went there, my grandparents live in nethybridge when we go visit them we always go here it’s amazing, I saw u at the pleasure beach if you remember me 😂
I’m in Scotland and live close to Codonas but have been to landmark before! My fave ride at landmark is the timber train I’m surprised it went quite slow for u it’s normally faster and u could of done wildcat I think 😂
I can’t believe you were at Landmark. Been watching your videos since lockdown and only found this now! I’m from the very north of Scotland and Landmark used to be the BEST day trip out! Slides are most definitely old 😂 been there since I was about 2 and I’m now 26! Haha. Absolutely love that you give everywhere a try and a fair review 👏🏼
Hope you enjoyed your stay up here in bonnie Scotland :) 'haste ye back' as we say! Unfortunately one thing we lack up here is a decent sized amusement/theme park with decent mix of rides :(
I am absolutely made up that you filmed a vlog here. I have been hinting for years you should go here. A lot of childhood memories were spent here on my holidays in Scotland. Pity you missed the fire tower, I remember it being amazing up there.
Landmark has changed a lot over the years . It’s a good family attraction 😀 It’s great to have you up in Scotland Shawn 🙂 I live about 40 minutes from landmark on the Black Isle. Hope your a great road trip. 😀
Have you come to Aberdeen to try out the amazing (scarism lol) codonas? We did have the one of worst coasters in the world but not anymore down in England somewhere.
Cool video I was there while the rides were closed but I dont live to far from the park and I've been there a lot the slides have Been there for a long time it was the signature part of the park until the coaster and dinosaur kingdom opened
The Water Coasters have been there for a long time. Cant find an exact opening date but im guessing 2006 maybe even older? Also its very strange seeing a vlog from so close to home 😂!
Hi shaw love your vid will u be going to Alton towers for October fest something like that and I mean no harm saying this but will Alex in the vids end more

@Maynards so blue I saw and I'm gutted, I'm going up that way end of month and thought hey a credits a credit
Used to go here when I lived in Scotland. Definitely miss this, had a real nostalgia moment. Thanks

It was there when I first went in 2001. Don't know how long it's been there but at least 19 years.
I imagine it’s been there shortly after opening
i was there in 1996 and the slide was there
This brings back so many memories of visiting here as a kid.
The red slides are at least 30 years old lol I'm 27 and used to go to landmark when I was 3 onwards lol about once a year :)
I’m going to landmark Tomorrow! Well excited to see those beautiful butterflies!!!

This park is really good fun I've been a few times before and I do recommend it
It sure is!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide It's my home park (M&D's is closer but i go here more)
Its absolutely trash
@@Nathy-vu1by M&D's is trash, Landmark actually has atmosphere
Nice to see something new I’d love to go as I love high ropes courses just a pity it’s so far away
The Water Slides were there when I was 10 and that was 20 years ago so the fact you thought they were new shows how well they're looked after.
Thanks for the information!
Great to see you up here

This place looks stunning and there’s a plus 1 cred 👌🏻
Trust me apart from the coaster it really isn't that interesting,I have been here so may times as I live 3 minutes away
It’s great to follow you all around the world and to watch you just 7 miles from my home! Very positive review for Landmark and the area 😊
