This is an incredibly informative video, I may put this whole series on while I'm working on my art so I can absorb more knowledge.
I recently actually had the opportunity to purchase a bowed psaltery on the cheap, which I turned down, a choice I regret. I'm now looking at a vintage autoharp for sale on Craigslist and trying to figure out if I want to go for it or not (and wondering if the guy with the psaltery will pop up again). I love browsing the musical instruments for sale section of the site, even if it is mostly guitars and amps, you sometimes bump into more unusual stuff and trying to figure out what some of those instruments are is what brought me here, to this video!

I'm so happy I found this channel. I love the sound of the autoharp. But I'm an appreciative spectator rather than a performer. This is a great intro for me to understand this beautiful instrument.

Thanks for this helpful perspective on music making in our modern, industrial society. I am sharing it with friends who have no interest in autoharp.

Well this series is already shot, but we could do an interview via zoom, and if you had any video and stills that we could dub in over our conversation that would provide a visual element that RUclips would need. If you are gsme we could talk about that!

Are we going to let accordions be chordo-phones? The child of a chordo-phone and an aerophone?
