War Thunder's latest update, Wind of Change, introduced a ton of unbalanced and broken vehicles. I expected the experimental Turm III to be one of them with its full stabilization and 30mm coaxial autocannon, but it was completely overshadowed by the Puma IFV and fixed Begleitpanzer 57. With both of those moved up to the 9.0 BR bracket, I had a hunch that the Turm would be a bit more fun to play since it wouldn't be having its kills stolen constantly.

If you need kills just play arcade the people there aren't bright. I can get 1st almost all the time
i like this type of video, it has a on the spot/rushed feel but in a good sense

I don’t know why but my t55a sabo just gets shattered when going through the hull so I thought this thing had some beast armor and I thought I had been uptiered
Gaijin made APDS specifically shatter on any spaced armor and even an armored bulkhead will sometimes count for this so yeah..

3BM25 APFSDS is really bad....the Dart for the Aubl HVG 60mm gun is slightly better. 129mm pen at armour angled at 60 degrees is atrocious. Even the M735 from the XM-1 outclasses the 3BM25
@@jyralnadreth4442 Not really surprising though, XM-1 is a 9.3 tank and M735 is a lot more sophisticated than the old 3BM25.

The issue with loading in is because youre most likely running the standard game client and it automatically switched (for some reason) to the super HD 4k textures client, trying to download all 93 gigs of it. I had it happen to me when the event first came out, switched it back to the standard client and it never crashed afterwards.

I had the same problem, also had the crashing problem. I had to delete a lot of files from the folder, idr what they were, it was something.something.something, like, had 2 file extensions. deleted those, switched launcher to HD, then did a repair from launcher and its all good now.
weirdly, if i didn't click off the first error message, I could still play the game.
Oh jesus really? I hope that is the case so I can get mine to be more stable lol. Depending on the day it crashes after every one to two games.
@@TheRaptorOfGaming Yeah, if you're running the game on steam, make sure to pick the manual game launcher option (if not then just launch the launcher normally) and then look on the bottom left of the launcher for the client version.
@@TheRaptorOfGaming the files are the ".vromfs.bin" files. I don't remember the exact error I was getting, but one solution I found online was to delete all those files in the war thunder install folder, then, from the manual launcher, do a repair install, and its worked perfectly since then. May or may not be your issue though. But a repair install may help even if it isn't.
Is it just me or if the loading glitch happend and the match ended, the game just turns black and won't close even with task manager and you had to restart your whole pc?
I was the M163, and you're right spookston, this AAA isn't effective against tanks, but getting some BRRRRRT kills here and there is quite funny, i only noticed it was you after you killed me lol

I love the Turm III, I feel like maybe it could go to 8.3 as well but generally its somewhat balanced right now IMO .
@@petrkdn8224 The balancing in this game is absolutely out of wack , and on my end , no one complained about the Turm 3 except it being so limp dick sad version of the VMBT m3 , the only saving grace for the Turm 3 is its co-ax.

The fact its not have an APFSDS and got the same turret/ammo with the leo 1(?) Its not a good idea.. The T55-AM1 have better armour got APFSDS and homing missiles and that shit is deadlier than this.. Just need one shoot to the left side of the turret and this tank is gone
@@petrkdn8224 Yeah i forget but the T55 AM1 players are always try to snipe.. Its not hard with that you just need to hide the hull.. Also the turret rotation speed is worse on the T55
Yeah, very balanced. It's just miles ahead of the french autoloaders at 7.3-7.7 BR, being superior in almost every aspect to them.

the main points for this tank is the three axis stabilizer and secondary cannon with auto loader, all these things are great enough but the unrealistic stabilizer is disappointing overall
my favorite part is they initially advertised it as having it, so i bought it becuase i thought it'd be useful, but then they choose to lie and say the engine can't do it, and edit the store page, but not give anyone refunds. Even though i've never used it in a battle i'm not allowed to get a refund despite being lied to and even proving to them they advertised that feature.

Also you should look at the ZSU-37-2 as the worst tank in the game, it really sucks
It just needs fused ammo and would work a lot better. Same with the ZSU-57-2, sadly only the Chinese version has proximity fused ammo.
And the fact doesn't help that only 2 was ever built and never went into serial production, so it is forced by Gaijin to be in the game. The Shilka is better.

@@lesaustion Probably you are right. It sucks because to use the Yenisei you need to let the enemy directly on top of you if you want a sure kill, or you gonna get strafed to death.

Small gripe with this thing, the commanders MG can't aim level to the front currently, so your aim is weird if you're re-loading the coax

I think the two main things balancing the turm-3 are the autoloader being helpful but not a machinegun and the puma forcing the br, when you say how the puma and begleitpanzer went up thats functionally the turms t and the rest of 8.0 going up for a while after. Personally I think they aught to give the turms-t apds in the autocannon and put it at 8.3 so it can basically be a chad bmp.

I just had WT lose the selection for my turret/weapon aiming and went into battle not knowing that. Grrr!
Had to Assign Button again for elevation and rotation. Saved the settings under a new file name just in case it is a corruption issue.
