Screw those cars the common thing that breaks will set you back 500 bucks for the part and over 2000 for the labor to put it in as something as dumb as being a oxygen sensor or whatever they like the iPhones of the car world because you can’t fix em or the only part you can fix is the screen. While android is like oh you wanna overclock there’s an app for that. Dodge over here like oh a 390 hp N/A engine doesn’t tickle ya? Here’s a supercharger in it and gets you 709 hp well throw In some better breaks and tires in the deal too…..

Hang some plastic from the ceiling or get a harbor freight carport and put led string lights off of Amazon in it to light it up like a paint booth..Do your sanding inside of it....What I do at my shop. Anyway, I wrote this om this comment hoping that Jarred would see it. It'll save your shop..Mechanic and bodywork don't mix..Dust will destroy mechanical parts, engines, transmissions and grease will destroy a paint job or bodywork. Ttyl

I’ve had many Aussie Utes Ford Falcon 351 Windsor , Holden 327 , but a word of warning, they skip around at rear end when punting through corners especially when it’s a bit damp. I used to put a couple of sacks of sand over the rear axle when the rear bed was empty. Love this build.

This build is amazing, and I absolutely love the look of it with the Raptor Line Finish.
I do have two concerns- One is the lack of a third brake light, but I feel like that can be added on easily maybe with something aftermarket? The second would be those shock/strut/suspension bits, which in my experience will absolutely refuse to want to come out because they're now mounted in such a way that it's nearly impossible to get at them, I would have pulled the bolts out, anti-seized them, and then stuck them back in so that there is no question about issues with future replacements.
Otherwise, this has been a fantastic ride from the original Roadblock 1.0 video, to seeing a living, driving, adventuring Roadblock 3.0 Ute! Maybe call it the "Uteblock"?

Phenomenal work Jared! Excited to see you push this to the finish line despite the tree and every other obstacle. For that reason, I think roadblock is still an appropriate name!

Fantastic episode, Jared! I enjoy the fact that you create lengthy videos full of great content, unlike some people (cough cough, Freddy). Can't wait to see Roadblock finished completely. ✌🏻🇺🇸

Looking good Jared. The carpenter in me would've put in a nice oak floor like the old school American truck's had.

The plural of "truck" is "trucks;" not "truck's." In English, it is improper grammar to pluralize a noun using an apostrophe ('). An apostrophe is used to indicate possession rather than pluralization.

DIY Air filter kit. Find a local HVAC shop, get a 20x20 furnace filter housing. Buy a 20" Box fan. Attach the housing to the back of the fan. Slap a $1 air filter in there and set near your work area to help capture the airborne particles...works pretty good and very cheap materials and filters

As an Australian, in the country that invented this body style, you've done an amazing job on the conversion. If you wanted a Pontiac G8 or Chevy Caprice version, it would have been as simple as taking an Australian VE Commodore ute shell and swapping the parts to fit it out. Given there's no Chrysler/Dodge equivalent in this case, it's amazing that you've managed to make the bodywork to the rear flow so smoothly

Road Block Two & Three-quarters. . . This build has come a long way and love how it skyrocketed into a UTE - we need more UTE's here stateside, and I hope to see this around here in GA (I'm over in Acworth/Kennesaw area). Hope to see you out at Caffeine & Octane in a couple weeks. .

The roll bar thingy would have looked cool if it looked like that “screen thingy” that cops cars have as a divider between the office and the criminal in the back. Personally I have only been “screen checked” once. If you don’t know what that is it’s where the officer slams on the brakes and your face goes into the screen, lol.

I am way behind on my videos, but you did an amazing job on the car/ute/charger/truck😄. And explaining how things dont always have to be perfect to enjoy them. You really hit on the points why. Yes I have heard it on the channels you spoke of (Because I am subscribed to them as well) but people need to be reminded of that alot. Me being one of them. Unless you are going for a show only heart stopping reaction to every inch of your project. Witch lets be honest,99.9 of us that watch things the this are going for or even can afford that million dollar look to our projects. So again you really nailed it and it was very worth the little extra time to watch such an video. I truely dont believe making this into two videos would had had the same impact. Great,Awesome, Amazing job on 100% of every aspect of this video👍!!! Thank you Sir.

This is so cool. When I had my 68 Plymouth Valiant in the 80’s, valiant were a popular car to turn into ‘Utes’.
I kept min stock but this is really very cool and retro. 🙌🏼

An awesome car. I have always liked the Dodge Charger, we don’t get them here in the UK at all, and that conversion is just so well done I absolutely love it. When I saw the paint I just thought ‘perfect’. This is easily my favourite automotive RUclips channel, honest presentation from Jared and brilliant editing from Duane.
