It’s not a carjacking, they killed her and torched the vehicle. This was a hit, probably a drug cartel.

3 Venezuelans tried this with my son near Winter Park on his way to work at Northrop Grumman 2 months ago. He filled out a police report. But this is happening way too often and no one wants to address it which keeps people in harms way.

If you live in orlando, be on the look out for an armed and dangerous assailant. This guy possibly killed this woman. He cant be a nice guy.
Things to think about:
Barber shops and beauty salons can be quite profitable - most of the business is conducted in cash.
Barber shops and hair salons often are involved in the drug trade. I know this first hand.
I would guess one of two things drugs or hit.
One scenario - hit - husband sent her on an “errand” - and suggested she get gas at this gas station where the Acura could find her. From There the Hitmen followed her - car jacked her and finished the job at remote location. ( why I don’t think this is the case - a hit man would not have wanted to do this in broad daylight and could have much easier killed her in a fashion that would not require carjacking and car burning.
More than likely scenario - drugs - husband and wife are involved in drug trade - wife had large amount of cash or drugs in car - which is why she did not call the police. Also why he did not call Police. People hijacking people for drugs/money are more brazen - she met Acura at gas station to do the deal - deal went bad - Acura did not have the drugs or Money - she left gas station - they try and ram her to get her to stop - she call husband - neither call cops because they are involved in nefarious business. She is car jacked - they take contents of car and kill her and burn car.
Follow the money!!! This was not some random road rage incident - the fact that the husband said she was visiting family but can confirm any of that makes me think drugs. If it was a hit he would not have answered phone or lied to police about family. Where does a couple From DR new to Florida get the money to start 2 businesses?!?
