'Swatting' should be a felony, no matter how young the perpetrators are.
Increase the penalty for such senseless acts. Jail time and large fines should be considered.
Why dont people call out the parents?
The people that make these calls should mandatory be in prison for 5 years , no bond no probation just straight up jail time plus restitution
Wow fox35 we love all of you,we the people,we love trump,trump2024WH ❤❤❤❤❤
Back in 1967, when I was in the 3rd grade and my sister was in the 1st grade we lived in a tiny town in Tennessee. It was during the Vietnam War riots and the Civil Rights Era. We got a bomb threat at school. (As far as I know they never knew who did it or why. I have the newspaper articles about it.) The teacher lined us up, walked us to the door and told us to go home. The teachers and staff didn't stay with the students or make sure everyone got home. Nothing like today. I grabbed my little sister and we went across the street to the filling station and the men working there helped us call home. I didn't know what to do after that so we sat on the curb across the street from the school until Mom came. I'm 65 and I remember that like yesterday and how afraid I was. It is traumatic to kids and it's absolutely disgusting if it's done as a "joke", prank or to "get out of classes". I hope they catch this person and the book is thrown at them.
Perhaps we could 'hear' the calls and help determine the individual? ...or relative association with similar calls?
How do you hurt a remote educator and deny her shelter
This always happens near the end of the school year IMO.

Take away the ability to do this. Yes big penalties. Also restitution of the cost of resources used. And just in case add aiding and abetting for any crimes that are enabled due to rerouted resourses.
