We watch every minute! Also, my wife and I have been subscribers of your channel for three or four years and for whatever reason, RUclips unsubscribes us at least three times a year. I bet it’s not just happening to us. Great show as usual!
When it comes to the pool and overcrowding, and frankly we’re a bit sensitive about crowds. There’s literally four swimming pools within easy distance our home. On such occasions we just start with the closest and work our way down, and we’ve been fortunate. We’ve always found a pool that was mostly empty somewhere along the way. No guarantees but that’s how we do it. By the way, we don’t even need to walk up to the pool to see a crowd, we judge just by the golf carts and cars that are in the parking lot.
Hello! I was having some coffee with my creamer and stevia while watching this morning! I love the addition of pet of the week! Another comment that made me chuckle was when Jerry said “we” instead of “you guys” when commenting on having patience on the golf cart. 😉😁
My husband and I are from Cullman, Alabama. We watch your shows every time you post one; all the way through. * We drink water for the most part when we go out to eat. I like lemon in my water. Sometimes I order diet Dr Pepper. OR.. I make lemonade. We watch you two and also two other couples who are villagers. We’ve learned so much. Thanks for what you do !! See you when we get there.
My beverage order at McDonald’s is a large unsweetened iced tea with extra ice and 2 lemon slices. I used to drink Diet Dr. Pepper for 50 years, but I quit a couple of years ago. -Scott
If you ever are considering getting a hot tub, consider a swimspa. During Covid my 2 gyms with pools closed and I couldn’t do water aquatics. We decided to get a swimspa and love it more than our former in ground pool. It took a day to deliver and fill with water. It only is 8x16 feet and I get to do water aerobics and others can sit in the spa side. It’s heated year round and hardly ticks our electricity and water bills. Easy to keep clean and balanced. I am a villages dreamer in Reno where one of my sons and his family live.
So fun seeing the video come from Mike and Mary’s home! I definitely recognize that background behind you both! We enjoyed the tour in the back as well and so fun to see Mary and Mike on the video as well as different shots from all the activities, boating etc. Informative video as well on other subjects too!🥰
Linda I just want to say how really pretty you look today in purple! I, too, love purple and unfortunately it`s not always easy to find tops in purple every season.
I can see why Mike and Mary are not full time villagers. Their property is gorgeous!!!!! And it would be a hard one to give up for full time in the south. Even though I love FL and would not want to be in a Wisconsin winter (months!), that house is one-of-a kind and not the same, with the landscaping and trees, that they have in FL. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us per video!
Tight budgets are very tough in the Villages. Things seem to be going up at an accelerated rate these days, like the District 14 maintenance fee - 50% increase! Be very careful before moving here. A great idea is to rent for a year before you buy. Only true way to see what the Villages really costs and is really like.
Hi Jerry and Linda. I didn't have time to watch you this morning. It's 7:30 pm and it's 70 degrees here So I am on my patio with Bourbon neat to drink watching you two. I do the trash bags I buy from the city. That way no big honking trash can to deal with and taking up garage space. And it's cheaper than a big can, I save over $130 a year. See you on Thursday.
Having my morning coffee. Blackout Coffee, from a Florida coffee company. I love the no trash can policy. And I love not seeing mailboxes at every driveway. Plus the central mail station makes it easier for the letter carriers. A win for everyone.
@@robk1310 it's too bad we don't have a central trash depository (that doesn't stink). Think of how easy it would be to take a small bag of trash to the mailbox every other day when we went for the mail
I think you left out a few things about being on a tight budget. It all starts with where and what you buy. There are budget homes up north under $200,000. There are homes without bonds, come counties have lower taxes than others. These factors make a bigger difference than where you eat and shop.
Not seeing the trash cans is great but I am surprised animals don’t rip into the bags. At 31:10 I do believe you said you were back in Indiana….Love your channel. See you when we get there.
Mary and Mike's house is beautiful. Minnesota is amazing in the summer. All the lakes make for a beautiful backdrop. Although the mosquitoes might carry you away. Word Jumble - "The Forest of Forgotten Footprints"
Hey Jerry and Linda. Finally home since 7:30 this morning. I’m pooped. 😂. Lovely living room in the rear. Oh this couple is familiar. The slide show and vids are fantastic. Looks like you’re having a wonderful time. Gonna watch and enjoy. Thanks in advance for, I’m sure a great show. Listening as I unpack groceries, dishwasher etc. Have a great week and see you Thursday.
Here in the desert, groundskeepers, trash pickup, etc, start at 600am in the summer due to safety. Would you like that job later in the day and get heat stroke!!??
I’m not a coffee drinker-never have been. Growing up in the 1950’s, we drank Pepsi. It came in returnable glass bottles and Pepsi bottles were larger than Coke bottles. A coke seems to taste better in the morning to me. I drink sweet tea. I drank Diet Pepsi for years but when I got older my taste changed for lots of drink and foods.
Good morning Jerry and Linda glad you made it home safely. It looks absolutely beautiful up there and love seeing the deer. Yes I agree am glad we don't have trash cans to clean or worry about. Yes Jerry I agree with you about wearing a hard hat because I don't want anyone cutting my grass at 6:00 or 7:00 am either. I am drinking coffee because I start working at 7:00 am but don't have long before I retire, (29 days left). I always watch your entire show and look forward to all your videos, and hope you both will have an awesome week.
We have a house in DeLuna but still have a home in Missouri, where we are now. While in Missouri, we watch your shows on Monday and Thursday during "happy hour" and drink our favorite beer! We've been enjoying that routine for years!
I watch your WHOLE program. My wife will sit for a couple minutes, get up and do something still listening. Come back over and watch for a couple minutes then go back to her LISTEN WHILE YOU WORK routine. Because we are from southern Indiana weder an affinity. Keep bringing your great shows.

Good Morning Jerry and Linda. I check on a regular basis to make sure I stay subscribed. Love your channel and wouldn't want to miss any of your fantastic info and content. My favorite drink is Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Love the bubbles. Thank you for your kindness and for still recording a show for your followers even though you are on vacation.
Birdcage! Heard that lots in SW Florida and in the villages for a while now Most of Florida calls it a screen enclosure or screen room, yes even over a pool
I love watching your show and I always watch it till the end. Thank you for taking time out on your vacation to do a video. I’m glad you had a wonderful time. That was funny at the end when you said you were back in IN and getting back in your routine 😁
Good Morning Jerry and Linda. Great video!!!! We just got back from our TV life style vist we had a great time. We plan on building new, we have picked out our floor plan just waiting for our house to sell. Have a great day!!!! We drink water every day sometimes tea. See you when we get there!!! Pam & Bernie
Great show again for our Monday morning. Can't believe the average watch tiime is 17 minutes ... what are those people thinking?? Have to watch to the end! Hard word jumble this week.
Great video again, we always watch from beginning to end! Mike and Mary have a nice home. Glad you enjoyed some time in Wisconsin. We are Diet Coke drinkers but Pepsi Max seems to be big in Iceland when we were there.
Thanks for the video! I'm glad you are having such a good time in Minnesota! You sure have traveled a lot recently! Good discussion on bubble rap about the trash. In my community, we are required to have trash cans, and the HOA is always writing letters about people forgetting to take them back in before 6pm. For homeowners, it's hard to keep the cans because when stored, they cannot be visible from the road. We have one pickup a week, and that's for everything - trash, yard waste, and recycling.
As always, love your show. And from Wisconsin, we do have great summers. It's the 6 to 8 months of cold.😅 that will get to you.😅 and I watch the whole show.
I drink mostly water...but I do enjoy my favorite cockie in the evening sometimes. Royal Crown XO w/Ginger Ale. Or as I lovingly call it, Crown & Ale :).
Hello Linda and Jerry. Even though I do not live in villages, I enjoy your channel very much. Both you and linda are just a joy to watch and listen to. The content that you put out is great. Love the golf cart tours. The bubble wrap tips and the word jumbles . Looking forward to the next video!

The way I was able to watch it to the end is by watching the first half on my lunch break and watching the second half after work, at dinner. I have a strategy! :o)
Great Show. I always watch till the end. I am always surprised how many people ask about snakes/insects. I have never given it a thought anytime I am about to make a move. I actually watch your show at night and not in the morning. I don't drink Soda or coffee, just plain old boring water. My husband is from Minnesota, but we never visit now that his parents are gone. I do remember being surprised how cold it was, one June we were visiting, it was in the 60's. Minnesota was nice, but not really for me. Like you, and I am still working, I am baffled by using a dry cleaner. Jerry, you are right we are in Florida. Forget the dry cleaners. Shirts/shorts all the way. I love your show, because I find it interesting to hear what people call things/ and or feel is important to know before moving to Florida. Birdcage was a new one for me. lol Never heard it called that nor anyone else, and I have one. lol Anyway great show as always.

What’s wrong with snakes, frogs, lizards, etc. ?? Good god. If some are so freaked out by the natural world, go live in a high rise somewhere. Lock your doors and windows and never go out. Just stare at your screens. 🙄
Mike and Mary ~ we live in Andover, right off of Hanson (stones throw). We are regular visitors at TV and expect to buy within 1-2 years. Would love to connect sometime 😊 A friend of J & L is a friend of ours~ Thank you Jerry and Linda for this week's show, we had hoped to meet up and wouldn't ya know, we are in Florida this week 😀 Hugs
Hi Jerry and Linda! I have 2 questions for you for Mailbag Monday. Are you all seeing a hike in your insurance premiums and insurance companies pulling out of TV due to adverse weather conditions? As far as the amenity fee, is there a cap to how much it can increase for current residents? Thank you for all you do!
@@Sunshine.and.Tulips We were thinking the situation had stabilized a bit. We will no more in December when we get our new premium notice. We will be sure to let everyone know.
The system is already in place. They set a time when they start handing out little numbers you get your number and you go away and then you come back a half hour later and actually get in for the event so the people you see waiting in line are probably just waiting to get their number and yes, you still have to get there early or you won’t get a number.
Even at different location...you guys still give us a FANTASTIC Mailbag Monday! 📬 Loved catching a glimpse of Mike & Mary's lovely home. ❤ Looks like you all had a great visit. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Best! 🌴
Great show. We got to watch it in our designer rental house here in the villages. It’s going to be hot but we’re are so happy to be back. Hope to see you guys while we’re here.😊
People should check out some Cost of Living calculators before moving anywhere. I like to cross reference several. The cost of living in TV is about 1% higher than where I currently live. It's 17% LOWER than where my parents retired. It's about 5% HIGHER than where my aunt lives in Wisconsin.
Your shows get better and better! Good for you 2 ! Love following your story since I moved to Fl. I chose Nocatee and now Wildlight to be closer to the beach :). But I find your newcomer advice still helped me tremendously;). Come visit us Jerry and Linda! lol
I make iced tea, either black or green, and put fruit juice, lemon, etc. Healthy and delicious!

I know it is not a good time but it's typical for lawn cutting to start early so the workers can get it done before the heat of the day.

What’s wrong with snakes, frogs, lizards, etc. ?? Good god. If some are so freaked out by the natural world, go live in a high rise somewhere. Lock your doors and windows and never go out. Just stare at your screens. 🙄
@@bamslerc seeing some of the exotic wildlife in the area should be one of it's selling points.
Mike and Mary ~ we live in Andover, right off of Hanson (stones throw). We are regular visitors at TV and expect to buy within 1-2 years. Would love to connect sometime 😊 A friend of J & L is a friend of ours~
Thank you Jerry and Linda for this week's show, we had hoped to meet up and wouldn't ya know, we are in Florida this week 😀 Hugs
🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
🌲🏰 Got it. That was a tough one.

Currently drinking sugar free pink lemonade. I always enjoy your show. Living your best life-enjoy, every second of it ❤

I’m drinking passion fruit iced tea! ❤❤🎉🎉😊😊 Great show, as always! 😊
I watch to the end. I enjoy your shows.
Oh i forgot about the meteor shower last week darn it
The system is already in place.
Best! 🌴
❤❤❤
Being the hot months of summer, what temperatures do you run your lanai and your home and does one help the other
@@DavidPinkney-r2x Usually we only run the home AC, not the lanai. It does help a little bit but we are totally comfortable either way.
Great show. We got to watch it in our designer rental house here in the villages. It’s going to be hot but we’re are so happy to be back. Hope to see you guys while we’re here.😊
I am a Coke Zero person and also love my water. I usually watch your videos to the end love’em!
Come visit us Jerry and Linda! lol
I would venture a guess that only the golf course grass cutters start before 8am.
I'd say that dry cleaning bill was fairly reasonable. Who normally takes 16 items to the dry cleaners?? Not me!😮😮
