Love that Peter covered smart bulbs for Bubble Rap. I love my smart home stuff! One of my favorite things about the Philips smart bulbs is the geofencing feature, which means I can have my living room light come on when my car is in a certain range and I never come home to a dark house. Living alone, that's a really nice feature.

Another great show! Sending out to your viewers an option for a dog park. Doggie Do Run Run north of 466 off CR 101 - great dog park It’s huge and has a pool in the large field for dogs to swim. It’s not a big pool but the dogs love it. It is a membership or day fee park but well worth the money. Have a great trip!

I was hooked on TVNC 2021/ 2022 but when I realized that I can't afford TV, my interest waned. We bought within our budget in Port Charlotte June 2023. Since I quit watching y'all, Gizzy has passed 😢, Linda has gotten more beautiful and Jerry has more hair. I love you guys. Stay well.

Jerry & Linda, been watching you for awhile now, must say your videos are real good and nice to watch. Becoming interesting about a lot of subjects. We are a few years older than you two, but still get compliments on how well we are for our age. The trick, is to stay active and busy… We both love retirement. Good Blessing’s to you both❤❤

Do you remember the galoshes our grandparents used ? They would be great in Alaska. Love the Peter sections , always interesting and helpful. Dogs in FL water that aren’t pools or the ocean ?!! That’s insane . 🤯
My daughter lived in Fairbanks for 3 years. Summer can be quite warm. Dress in layers and bring a swim suit and a coat. You never know.

Tears welled up seeing Gizmo … he was such a good boy listening to you - because you were teachers and trained him well with love and ❤…. My dog and I had a dog act. He was so smart I was a children’s dance teacher and did children’s birthday parties, ballerina birthday parties and then when I got my dog, I trained him and we did doggy acts for parties. He knew 32 tricks but I don’t think I would’ve been able to teach him not to go beyond a certain area around the house. Of course here we had walls around our house but still I think gizmo was really special and I lost my baby in 2016.😢❤ He’s together with your gizmo at the rainbows end awaiting our arrival I believe that we will see them again🌈🐾🐕🐕🦺 my mother passed recently and bought me a house in the villages and I will be there soon. I’m far from you guys in Santo Domingo …my neighbors were my bosses at The Pasadena Dance Theatre here in So Cal, and they go on cruises a few times a year maybe will all be joining one of your cruises sometime and get to meet you or maybe run into you at a farmers market I will definitely come up and say hello. I’ve learned so much about Villages watching you the last two years while I was caregiving my mother and her final days now my sister and I are going to go live in Santo Domingo near Spanish Springs. There is a cute little lake seven minute walk from my house at the edge of a golf course that I’m gonna walk to you every morning because my villa. doesn’t have much greenery like I do here in South Pasadena but I’ll make up for it by walking over to the lake sitting underneath the trees. I’m definitely going to have to get a lot of potted plants and make it very green outback. It’s all cement there’s an area on the side that I can plant some roses. It’s a corner house so I don’t have to share a wall with anybody and I like that the other thing I like about a corner house is that when you go out your front door you don’t run the risk of seeing your neighbor going in Their side gate to the backyard. I guess it’s because I’ve always lived in a house with walls around it with a lot of privacy.

I liked when you posted pictures of viewers when you said their name and where they’re from or where you met them or some detail. I don’t understand the people that complain the show is too long, have they never heard of the fast forward button? Been watching your show for years and don’t even live in the TV. Wife and I ended up buying at OTOW but kept the show. Keep up the good work.

We wore winter hats and gloves for 5 days on our July 7th cruise to Alaska last year. Glad we packed to keep warm. Have a great time.
Make sure you take an umbrella, sun screen, good sunglasses, gloves, hats, & the best pair of binocular's you've got! Hope you got a room with a unobstructed balcony!

I live in Seattle have relatives in Alaska. Make sure you take a warm hoodie with you even during the summertime they're gonna need it.
Have a wonderful cruise to Alaska! We did ours two years ago, just the reverse itinerary as you, with Denali at the beginning. Fantastic! They are right when they say it rains alot, but our cruise(everyone in Alaska told us) was an exception with NO rain(esp in Ketchikan) and quite warms temps. I didn`t even wear my rain pants. Would love to go again but from Switzerland, it`s a 10 hour(!!!) time difference. Just sooooo long. But if you have a window seat a BIG tip from me…..when flying over upper Canada coming into Alaska, the glacier scenery out the window is un-believ-able!!!!!!!! Hope to follow you from the cruise on youtube!

I went to Alaska in June and I was never cold, but the further north, you go, the more likely you will hit some cold spots
The wind can blow and make you feel colder than usual

Hi Jerry and Linda - Hope you two have a blast on your Alaskan cruise and wish I was going. I’ve cruised Alaska last two years in a row. Regarding packing, the weather in Alaska can change not just day-to-day but hour-to-hour. True, you can always escape back to the ship to avoid inclement weather, but to enjoy Alaska, you need to venture outside the ports to experience the nature and grandeur of the beautiful state. When doing excursion for whale watching, the waters can get windy and cool, so a windbreaker type jacket would be advisable. Also, in Juneau, if you plan to to see the glaciers and hike (Mendenhall Glacier), I brought along hiking boots, and layers (mid weight jacket, long sleeve sweatshirt), in case of cooler or rainy weather, that you can remove and place in a backpack if it becomes warmer. Alaska is amazing, have a wonderful trip and look forward to watching your videos from Alaska.

Our week in Alaska was typical, I think. I was glad to have long sleeve tees and fleece wear along. It was 70 degrees at times, but for about 5 minutes! The ship had some back seas and we couldn’t go out to the decks all one day

We did Alaska with Princess only reversed what you are doing. We started in Denali and then cruised - it was fabulous and I know you will love it! We went in May 2019 and it was so hot we were way over-dressed!!! Yes it rains a lot this time of year and the mosquito is the state bird!! Enjoy!!!

I recommend that you book 2 nights at the Denali Lodge, where you are going to take the tour into Denali and that allows you to spend the full day in the middle to take the full day tour instead of the half day tour.

If you both have not left yet for the cruise, please put in sweatshirts. It might be warmer this time of the year in Alaska, but it does rain a lot. I watch a woman who has a cooking show on RUclips and she was in Alaska the first part of June for three weeks and it was very damp and wet Sweatshirts jackets all the time please put in a pair of pants and some sweatshirts. Both of you have a wonderful cruise! That was a great idea Jerry showing the hairdresser cutting your real hair!😅 love the many comments people send you

UPCOMING ALASKA CRUISE: This advice is from South Florida - this Florida girl owns a Parka ROFL :D. We made a trip just like yours on Princess (Land & Sea) in June a few years ago. What we found is that bright & early in the morning, at the Lodges, it's very cold (Ft. Lauderdale Standards of course); however, by the afternoon, we were in just our t-shirts & jeans. We went on a helicopter excursion to walk on a glacier - that requires full Parka mode (jacket, hat, scarf, gloves & I wore long johns too :O) You are going to love, love, love

Re Gizmo, often small dogs don’t like to walk on dry prickly grass, it irritates their toes. My dog doesn’t like it
We are "newcomers" and were trying to go to a different pool each day B4 we came back north for the summer. As we talked to get to know others, some people were so friendly and said come back again, and some were asking why we didn't stay in our own neighborhood pool. Well, welcome to the villages! Lol. We bought a 100 sq ft smaller villages home than our Lakeland home and it's tough for storage. I'm trying to be a minimalist but I don't like that!! Lol 😂

There's awebsitecalled sniffspot that will let you rent out your fenced-in backyard to people who don't have their own backyard and can't use dog parks so their Fido can have some outside time. That could include a swimming pool, they call them "dog water parks"... Sniffspot takes a portion of thefee which also coversliability.
Sniffspot says "We have hosts that are earning $3,000 or more per month with their unused yards or land. We provide a lot of guidance and feedback to our hosts to help you increase your earnings."

People pull into the gas pumps and immediately look at their phones for messages and start to read and answer without any consideration for the people behind them. They can easily do that while the gas is pumping. Very rude IMPO.
I just built a ceiling mounted storage rack (4x8) on my garage ceiling, above the garage door. It’s made by gladiator, through Lowe’s. Built it myself, but would have preferred to have someone help

Hey guys. I’m late but here. A lot of last minute appointments and shopping. Leaving next Wednesday for Seattle and embarking on next Friday on Celebrity Edge for Alaska. $2.99 for ⛽️ is great. We are still $3.39 to $3.89 for regular. Oh no Linda you got bit? So sorry. Princess ships are amazing. My 1st cruise was on a Princess trip in 1978. I read the same Linda. A lot of rain. Storage or lack of is everyone’s problem. Never enough. Alexa has gotten a bit lazy with lights , TVs etc. Smart anything is great til there WiFi and connectivity issues and it doesn’t work. Oliver is adorable eating his snacks after fetch 😂. Lovely sweet. Jerry you must tire defending your non toupee. Great tips from Peter and saving with Cindy. Always love the pics at the end. Oh yes. Have a happy 4th and safe traveling.

I took a Princess Cruise to Alaska. It was wonderful! Weather - it was hot like I was in the Bahamas. I went in June. The locals were miserable because they weren't use to the heat. There was no airconditioning in the restaurants and stores. Luckily I had a pair of shorts ...the ones I wore to MCO. I lived in them. 😂Misty Fjords and Whale Watching are must do excursions. .It was a very memorable trip. Have a great trip!
