I am kind of surprised that this is getting a decent number of views. Just wanted to say that this is my only video related to keyboards or tech stuff in general unfortunately. I would love to continue doing stuff like this, but I just do not have the time and money to continue making content like this for now. I would continue doing these types of videos in the future when I have more of both things above, so if you are interested stay tuned!
Hey, nice vid, I got the same recently, bought it second hand, it's nice and all. BUT there is some metallic reverb from the keys, and I'm not sure if it's the body that reverbs or if it is the switches/stabilizers, which could be lubed I guess?
Yeah I have noticed pinging, it really depends on what surface you're typing on. I added foam in the case and the keyboard is on a deskmat which reduced the pinging noise and I can't really hear it anymore in normal use.
@@D3RUGGs im not very knowledgable about keyboards would you still recomend this or not then do I have to be careful about anything? An thx for the reply👍
@@watsinurfreezer8789 The only thing where you need to be careful is probably choosing switches. Brown switches are tactile, which means you have a tactile bump while pressing. Blues are also tactile with a clicky noise. Red switches are linear. It's all personal preference, I just prefer linear switches so I went with red. And yes I strongly recommend this keyboard, but the stabilizers are pretty rattlely out of the box without modding as shown in the video, if it isn't a problem for you go for it.
@@D3RUGGs thank you my man thanks for the help i think i will get in red switches when i have the money thank you man i subscribe to you and like the video

What kind of foam? I have the Race3 version and I find the metallic ping quite annoying
Hey, what kind of lube are you using here?
I'm using Synco Lube
yooo How did u do the tape/bandaid mod without taking out the whole stabilizers?
I just opened them on one side and put band aid under there
I use my right index for space bar too, haha :)))
is it possible to disassemble the frame? I would like to spraypaint it!
It is, I did it when I added foam into the case.
Are these silent red Switches or just mx reds?
Those are mx reds
@@D3RUGGs Alright! I just got mx silent reds for the tab 60 so I wanted some perspective. Thanks!
How did you buy it ISO format?
Thanks!
I bought it on a German site called geekboards
i farted
what tools do you use to mod like the cream thing? and the pen thing
and do you do it on all of the switches
😀
It‘s synco lube and I just used a form of toothpick to get it in the stabilizers, haven‘t lubed the switches because it requires desoldering
@@D3RUGGsif you dont lube the switches does that do anything for the modding
@@D3RUGGs and do you take apart the switches
@@D3RUGGs can you send a link pls
