I’m a recent Pentaholic, who went down the Pentatonix rabbit hole, only to find Home Free and go down the Home Free rabbit hole. 🤷♀️😂 I was familiar with Cam from “Burning House,” but that was the only song of hers that I knew. Generally speaking, I find the overwhelming majority of country music to be just plain obnoxious and irritating. But Home Free can make me enjoy just about anything. LOL. That being said, I really enjoy Cam singing this (and “Burning House”). She really has a beautiful and soulful voice, with a more subtle and natural sounding twang than 99.9% of her country counterparts.

Just keeping it REAL here at the Hot Springs Veterans Facility here in South Dakota and I get the privilege to sit here with Mr. James Dawdy who is considerably older than me but flew approxiametly 100 missions in a span of 6 months and survived.....Another unsung hero who I had the privilege to spend time with and Thank you Cam for finding a way to bring some type of norm to a real situation that is horrible for everyone involved......He too has a son sacrificing his freedom to the war on terror and hopefully in the end will be able to pass on a piece of history to his family in a way that will keep the future promising for all the children who are to young to digest the sad but true reality of what FREEDOM actually consists of in the end......

Just a couple weeks ago, Home Free came out with their cover to this song. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Cam's version of her song. BUT, I feel like Home Free's cover sounds fuller. They shared all the lead vocals, and added in their "Home Free" flare. I heard Home Free's cover first. I have never heard 5H sing this one, at all. Amelia Earhart broke down barriers for women to help make them more equal to men. Amelia Earhart not only was a female pilot, but she went as far as calling her husband her partner instead of husband. She once said and you can see that in the video; "please know that I am aware of the hazards. I want to do it because I want to do it. Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail they're failure must be but a challenge to others." And just because your a boy doesn't mean you can't be a feminist. A feminist is a person, no matter their gender, who wants equality between the genders. And maybe you just meant that you like how Cam portrays Amelia and not that you agree with #girlpower but I couldn't miss an opportunity to get this out there.
Such a beautiful song that I can relate to. Sitting in the car 2 am crying and letting go of the person I have been seeing. I always run back but need to say good bye. I agree that Cam's got a beautiful country/pop feel to it. Which is how I came to this video. I am a "Home Fry", which means that I love "Home Free". Just a couple weeks ago, Home Free came out with their cover to this song. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Cam's version of her song. BUT, I feel like Home Free's cover sounds fuller. They shared all the lead vocals, and added in their "Home Free" flare. I heard Home Free's cover first. I have never heard 5H sing this one, at all.
Perhaps, you should check out the Home Free cover, too. Appreciate the differences, and the similarities.

Amelia Earhart broke down barriers for women to help make them more equal to men. Amelia Earhart not only was a female pilot, but she went as far as calling her husband her partner instead of husband. She once said and you can see that in the video; "please know that I am aware of the hazards. I want to do it because I want to do it. Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail they're failure must be but a challenge to others." And just because your a boy doesn't mean you can't be a feminist. A feminist is a person, no matter their gender, who wants equality between the genders. And maybe you just meant that you like how Cam portrays Amelia and not that you agree with #girlpower but I couldn't miss an opportunity to get this out there.

Such a beautiful song that I can relate to. Sitting in the car 2 am crying and letting go of the person I have been seeing. I always run back but need to say good bye. The net day I just sat on the edge of a cliff listening to this song an cried for hours. Somewhat soothing and it seems to be the closure I needed.
