I really like how the stapler moves up and down and I also really like how it jumps high and I say that was a cool magic trick. Thanks for the tutorial jeremy!!!
If you look closely, you'll notice that his fingers are always blocking the view of the staple until the end. He probably just glued the paper there beforehand, and the sheet isn't even stapled together :P
Well I give everyone automatic permission to make up to two remakes of my tutorials to put on their channels and they have my permission to make unlimited demos. I encourage people to try to design their own models to teach because that way they are adding their own creativity instead of just copying someone else's.
Because it's 4 times more expensive than Daiso and frankly Daiso paper is better! The sheets are perfectly square, the white sides are whiter, and you get more different colors and the colors are better!

I first folded the square of gold foil in half so the white side was hidden. Then I made the two mountain folds to determine the width of the staples (which I matched to the the width of the inner silver part of the stapler) and folded whatever was extra toward the middle on the underside of the staples. Then I made series of mountain folds along the whole length to make it look like a strip of staples.
If you don't care about the color change then you can fold it from just one square paper. I used two squares back-to-back because I don't have a paper that is silver on one side and black on the other.
I leave that as a puzzle for you to figure out, but it shouldn't be too hard since it's just a few mountains and valleys.... and a bunch of pleats to imitate the texture of a strip of staples.

@@dumbcarbattery5916 Yes, but I didn't glue. I folded the staples and inserted them in by making tiny slits with a razor.
At the end of the video I reveal the gimmick, and yes my hand was blocking the staples at all times before the reveal.
