This is why VG is a great director, so many subtle moments of world building. Walt is so pathetic at this point in his life he doesn’t even have control over his own beverage, at his own birthday party.
The banter between Hank and Steve is legendary lol, Hank is such a typical old school American macho wisecracker - I’m sure he’s gonna go very far in his career as a DEA agent.
Hank was a man's man .. A provider , a pillar of strength for his family and police department, when you have a guy like Hank in your corner you breathe a little easier. This the type of guy we should all aspire to be , Mr.Dependable
and yet, just like the man he spent the whole series looking for, his pride became his downfall. From beating up Jesse in S2, to gloating on the phone with Marie upon arresting Walt instead of properly turning him in.
Hank's character reminds me so much of my uncle,- my mom's younger sister's husband! He was bald, loud mouthed and cursed without minding the surrounding. A habit which I picked later on 😂😂😂 Unfortunately during he passed away from COVID. His death affected me a lot! I used to love him more than my father. I hope he is in a better place ❤
hank was such a good uncle and husbend and was good to everyone around him espically walt his death was so sad because his the only charachter in the show with a good heart
@@FedeArgentina but he's the only one who felt bad about it. Hank habitually violated people's constitutional rights, didnt care if Jesse got killed in their sting of Walt. Walk and Hank shed their conscience, Jesse never did.
The funny thing is he's not wrong about marijuana being a gateway drug. I don't think I know a single marijuana smoker (and I know lots as I used to work in the event scene in clubs and bars) who hasn't also at least tried plenty of other drugs. 'Oh, I found out that coke wasn't for me' is a common one. Like holy shit, you did coke in the first place? Plenty of them were on meth pre Covid. Not sure what happened since because the event scene was decimated, but yeah, I used to also think marijuana was this harmless fun thing, but it turns out that people that are willing to smoke pot are usually willing to try a hell of a lot more.
Sure, but you could say the same thing about alcohol. It seems inevitable that weed will be legalized nationwide, at which point it would stop being a "gateway" drug to other illegal drugs because it's not illegal.
Lived half my life in the scene even selling it. Its is a gateway drug yes but out of a complettely different reason. Its illegal still in most countries as it was in mine at the time. So to get it you had to step into the illegal world. And guess what in that world? All other illegal drugs. Just look at prohibation time in the US. Didnt took long for the syndicates to take controll of it. In an uncontrolled enviroment plus the inherent curiousity or life problems human face going deeper in the drug rabbit hole when the chance arrises isnt too far fetched and I would even say logical to some degree.
Thats your personal stuff. Doesn't mean its true at all. I know ppl that smoked a shit ton and never turned to other drugs. And I knew ppl that never smoked but did coke and other shit. There are alot of ppl that just try and do all kind of drugs in young ages just to test it out and be like "Nah, fuck it." In the end, every drug, whatever it is, can be dangerous. Its about social background ,mental stuff and everything else. Surely, some drugs can easily become a problem and are highly addicvtive. Just look at the USA problems with meth, opiods etc. Still I do not think, it is a gateway to it. Weed is easy to get, can be a party fun and thats it. Same could be said for alcohol. Or rather should. If you're grounded, have a path and ppl that look out for you, you probably don't slip into to hard stuff. Atleast thats from the EU perspective. But if you have problems in your life etc, its easy to run into an addiction. May it be alc, weed and then later on other stuff. But just saying weed is the gateway to everything else is a bit meh and just to easy. And in the end its not "really" true. Its a topic for discussion for years. Alot of people that got lost in drugs smoked at some point. Alot of people that never did, did aswell. Alot of people that never smoked, ended up in drugs. Same goes for beer. Alot of poeple that drank beer became alcoholics. But not every1 that drank beer at some point ended up there. Hope you get my point and hope you're doing good. Cheers my dude.
I'm so tired of this Russian bulshit they try to shove into all of these movies and TV shows. I'm sick of it! For those who are curious that crap they said there means cheers or to good health as a literal translation. Eww, this language makes nauseous 4:09
Hanks fake laugh at the DEA office when they were speaking spanish haha.
Lmao it was absolutely hilarious agreed 😂
3:59 That's funny I never noticed Hank took Walt's drink and never gave it back lmao
😂
this was the exact moment

may he have a long and successful tenure at the DEA
Didn’t you hear? He’s actually a methlord. He made Walter cook for him. I’m ashamed that Hank would do that..
Yeah, no way is he gonna get taken out by any of those Mexican cartels!......
@@h8GW well yeah, he didn't get taken out by a _mexican_ cartel

jessie had a good heart. couldnt even kill a bug. stood up to Gus about
using children to sell drugs.

Early seasons Hank was insufferable, but he grew as a character and becomes one of my favorites before the end.
Very kind of Gus to give him a free meal pass.
my man said is that the same one your mom works at? 💀
1:26 gomez turned out to be right, but of course jesse wasn't there at the time
Hey hey hey First name Emilo that’s at least half a beaner 😂
Can't help but like Hank.
There were many heartbreaks throughout this series; I never counted Hank and Marie’s suffering among them.
left unexplained is why they didnt have any children
Got an ass like an onion, makes me wanna cry 🤣💀
YOU CAN'T PEEL ME!!!!
Minerals 🪨+⛏️=🗿
Hank is the type of co-worker that you need but dread.
That character Wendy was well casted. She look the part by being so thin but to my surprised she's an athlete, a cyclist that is.
I swear Hank said “let’s see those pearly yellows”, anyone else??
Hank is bruce willis from the dollar store
He's a bit of a jock douche but lawful good Hank remains. Damn cowboy.
I'm disappointed him catching.A bullet wasn't on this list.by far the funniest thing I saw him do
who else first immediately thought of "onion ass" when they saw the thumbnail?
I was just searching for this and it just got released i don't know if it's just a coincidence or just luck
