It's called "cabin fever", i get it here in the summer. It's like "put me on some gold". Don't care how much i get. Just get me out of here before i go str crazy! Yee-Haa!! I saw some pretty hard packed gravels. Y'all did great. Can't wait for future adventures.
Nice work guys. Resurrection creek is the best public dredging area on the peninsula. When I first got my six inch dredge I took it there for two days and got 16 grams. I worked a little upstream from where u guys were. That creek has been hit hard but if you can find some bedrock and just keep clearing it eventually you will find really nice little pockets that haven’t been cleaned out. Best of luck!
I imagine if you could dredge out closer to the middle where the current is really ripping there are some gravels that haven’t been cleaned in a long long time
@@twodudesonedredge To tell you the truth the best material is under the bank, It’s never been mined with a dredge. That being said if you can find anywhere that a dredger hasn’t cleaned yet, including the middle of the creek, you will load up! I have seen some pretty extravagant dams that people have built just to get out to the middle of the creek. When I dredged there I just kept cleaning and cleaning bedrock and found little pockets here and there that were untouched. It all adds up.
Great job all around fam. Always have a blast coming by. Keep on having fun getting that au and living the dream fam. Your doing great work. Gold Squad Out!!!
Hey guys, good to see you're back at it finally. I bet you're happy to be back in the water! Winter is just about to start here, so we have a long wait to get back in again. Brodie, John and I found a few new spots that could be promising when we get back to it. can't wait to see the new vid when you're back on the claim. Cheers Corey
Good work fellas 👏. Looks to be some good material. Just got to move bigger rocks that others cant/won't. Ready to see some claim gold. Til then heavy pans!
Hey Andy thanks for stopping in! Brennan here, so that clay/gravel layer(according to USGS reports) is apparently the "bedrock" of the area any material below it is supposedly barren of gold. May have wasted a little time picking at it, but you never know!
I was up there on vacation 3 years ago and visited hope, nice place- I did a few hours sluicing with a small 6'' backpack sluice on granite creek that's not far away, got about 1/4 gram fine gold, also worked some at the crow creek mine and picked up a little there too, going back someday!
Looks like you guys worked about the only area you could that was out of the swift current! Good amount of gold for the small area you dredged out! 👍⛏️🍺🍺
Hey guys winter's hit us here bigtime so I'm down the rabbit hole. To quote Two Toes 'another 2 gram day got to be happy with that', looks like you're onto it by looking for packed gravel, areas of impaction seem to hold the gold.
That spot is pretty cool Hydraulic mining was done there in the late 1800s If u cross the bridge to the other side an walk the trail u can c giant tailing piles punch plates piping they used for water blasting the hill side cabins an much more that was left behind
@@twodudesonedredge Dredging looks great Jay but if you don't mind getting cold and wet sniping is a cheap alternative, it beats panning or sluicing in my experience, check out Levis channel, Tassie Boys Prospecting.
I would die from excitement to find that in a day of dredging.. soo..question 1.. is that place accessible by road from lower 48..question 2.. any Free or cheap camp grounds or camping places ?? Great work u2.. luv the vids..
That's a good question! Likely veins of gold deposited along with quartz and other minerals, then eroded into the river by rain, snow, etc. then the river sorts and transports the gold until we go and find it
@twodudesonedredge i grew up in the area....never knew anyone with a claim up that way so ive not propected it much. I panned when i was in my 20s over there and found some flakes....gave me the bug lol
@twodudesonedredge it is going. Im in Arizona currently so our season for detecting and drywashing is like winter early spring. To damn hot. Ill be back in alaska next yr tho and i cant wait to get back on alaska gold!!!
Fantastic dredging, getting inside that bedrock crevices and moving it out of the way to get to the Gold, enjoyed watching Great work
Thanks. Stay tuned for our first trip of the year back on our claims
Good start for the year
That’s what we were thinking

Thanks Corey,
Good to hear that you have some new spots. We are still hoping to get down there next spring.
@@twodudesonedredge Look forward to sharing 'the river' with you guys
Glad to see your back. I hope you have a great year.👍
That’s what we are hoping
Wow awesome cleanup! Definitely need a dredge there for sure pretty tough just using a shovel and pan!
We see guys with shovels and pans and highbankers also.
@@twodudesonedredge interesting I just didn’t have much luck back in April but then again it was pretty icy still I’ll have to try again!

Thanks Tim. Hopefully we all see a lot of that claim gold
Looking good dudes!! 🍻 that’s some serious tight pack gravel down there.
It’s. Man the current was ripping in there.

Nice to see ya guys back at it
Thanks. We are even more excited to get out to our claims once the snow melts
Good start for the year. At least you didn't get skunked.
You got that right. I was a pleasant surprise.

Damn I need to get a dredge. You guys found a lot, nice.
Dredging is very nice. Makes moving a yard of dirt much much easier vs shoveling.

Thank you so much. It’s absolutely on the road system. There is plenty of free camping in the area.
What part is this, Bertha is still snowed in
Resurrection Creek in Hope. We drove by Bertha and saw the snow, maybe another week or two before she's open for mining

Small town. Beautiful though
why: are you filming with sun glasses on; while talking to PEOPLE, it is quite rude..
Judy,
Thanks for the comment. It seemed a better option than squinting. We appreciate the view and hope you enjoy.
My apologies, it was very bright on the porch that day, and the sun reflecting off the snow was burning my eye out 🥵 next time 🙏
