3rd Day on the water this season, and it was nasty! Chilly/rainy weather doesn't stop us, just means we are wet in and out of the water :( The gold certainly makes up for it :)

Nuggetron was found the year before we started recording. In the same spot but that year was our first dredging. We just had the little four inch franken-dredge. I’ll see if we can scrape up a bit of footage

Hi guys, my name is Dean and I from London, when the nozzle goes in to the dreaded ,why can't you get a y shape and have two nozzle, you then you can have two divers in at once. Any way keep it up ❤
Greetings Dean, Good question! I think that would cut our suction power in half unless we upgraded the motors. We are currently limited by Alaska state rules for small scale mining where total motor horse power cannot exceed 18hp.
How often and many bear do you guys come in contact with while dredging up their ??
We've seen one or two, but they never bother us.

After watching your underwater shots I am wondering if I hog too much material through my dredge. You guys seem to feed material much slower than I do. Although I still catch most of my gold up in the black matt section. I think you guys could try feeding even faster in my opinion! cheers
We definitely hog in the material when the cameras aren't rolling. Trying to show off the gold on the bottom means we slow down a lot for the camera.

That clay is sticky stuff. Read a story once about a guy with a 4 inch on some river in California who hit clay and decided to punch through it. Got so much gold he thought he was going to sink his dredge. Had to stop every hour to clean it up. Incredible! Y'all doing good.
