Loved Great White!...they were like bluesy hard rock...nothing like Poison or the 'Crue or any other of the "hair metal" bands. Even tho they had the hair!..lol...their music to me wasnt "hair metal" They just happen to make it big at that time. Alot of Led Zeppelin influence
They were better musicians than Poison or the Crue, but their version of bluesy hard rock wasn't as much in style as the "hair metal" that Poison or the Crue were producing. Oh and BTW, I'm not shitting on Poison or the Crue, because they had some great songs, but Jack Russell is a better singer, Mark Kendall is a better guitar player, and Michael Lardie is a better all around musician.

I agree that one without the other is no more than a tribute band despite the fact that I like Jack Russells version quite a bit better and I mean absolutely no disrespect to Robby Lochner, he seems to be a fantastic guitarist but he just doesn't have the swagger or the intimidating stage presence like Mark Kendall did/does!
Those of us who follow the band , love the lineup. The guys play well together, and they are a great group of people. As long as both groups are happy and making music? Its all good.
