Yesterday I ordered this video card from Asus 4070 rtx dual OC for 400 eu, I think it is a good investment for 1440p. I don't give a cent for your opinion ..how amd would improve in the future etc. 4070 is a perfect card for ultra -hign games at 1080p and 1440p for the next 3 years at least!
People are getting very picky lately..not to mention that 500 eu is not the same value as it was 10 years ago..

DLSS alone makes me shift towards Nvidia . The DLSS 3.5 is something
AMD FSR still needs improvement and not to mention the power draw this Radeon cards have is massive compared to Nvidia which sits around 200 - 220 W for 4070

Bro picked games where AMD is better optimized and said the 4070 is a scam. When you compare more games, you'll find that the 4070 Super matches the performance of the RX 7900 GRE. In the country where I live, their prices also match, so Nvidia comes out ahead due to better technologies and power consumption. I’m not an Nvidia fanboy. I like AMD for their customer-friendly philosophy, but this video is pretty misleading. You picked only games where you like to see AMD win. Also, it is good to know that pricing is very different around the world. In the end, it's still the same story. AMD = better rasterization and more VRAM. Nvidia = advanced technologies and sometimes a slightly higher price. We can also say AMD is a scam when we turn on ray tracing or measure power consumption.

Cyberpunk favors nvidia and RDR2 favors AMD. I mainly AAA titles that were popular (and that i had ;) ). However i dont know about other games, il keep that in mind. And i mostly compared 4070 non Super to 7900 GRE since in the US they both cost the same (7900 gre is 30$ cheaper)
Here are the links on Newegg :

You are comparing the 7900 GRE with The 4070 Super that cost more than the 4070 non super.

@TE 150 bugs more for 3 Fan model from Nvidia and the Performance Diff advantag, is really low as all Criteria. Take yo Summit with yo^^, but whole Offer in that performance Region goes to the GRE ;D

If you can get it for $438 brand new then go for it. Its a awesome deal. However keep your eyes open for a 4070 SUPER just incase. Since those are also on discounts and could be a far better deal.

bought a Pulse Gre, and be objectiv proud of in back. Its a Comfort Conclusion, on bedder temps, noise and OC Potential, YET not in possible Future Versions. I didnt wanna pay 150€ more for trustworthy 3 fan Model, with nearly same performance on green Side. Ty.
Pls do a Video about 7800XT owner, how possibly sad they are less comfortable, in front of GRE appears with a light version of a 7900xt GPU on it ^^ Could be delicous and toxic, uniqe Video only determined by Time, for that Choice.

But what about the nvidia geforce experience hub which is a lot better than the amd software?

    • @Teqnission

Good point! In my opinion, it comes down to personal taste. The GeForce Experience app has all the same features as the AMD Adrenalin software, plus a touch of some ads though. However, if you do choose Nvidia in the price category, you lose out on a lot of performance!

This has gotta be a joke. Nvidia's GeForce experience is a terrible app. Their NVCP is literally archaic while the Nvidia App is still very much incomplete.
As someone who's used both Nvidia and AMD, adrenaline software is objectively the better app.

Why are we comparing prices to 2 generations ago with pricing? Look at food! It's the same lol. We get eay more for our money now in gpus. I'm sry that old hat comparison crap needs to go. We can't expect them to stay that way. Period.
Also you can't just compare raw native performance. Not accounting for the additional features that then make it beat the gre isn't fair either.
4070 super is the best buy for sure when accounting for everything which even devs are starting to rely on now.
What good is 20fps natively if it's stuttering way more?
At least nvidia gpus are stable and drivers are good. Even the biggest amd head out there says stuttering is still here and amd still hasn't fixed it. It's been that way since they started lol.
Most people who buy nvidia use there features so to go oh the 7900gre beats it by this much without even talking about the features and how nvidia beats amd is absolute bias and leaving so so much on the table.

@@reviewforthetube6485 That is because the GPUs are listed by there tier. It is just dumb that nvidias mid-tier today costs almost the same as the high-tier in nVidia's "Golden age". An another thing to mention is that, the amd GPUs have not incresed in price everey gen ... so i think its Fair to mention a metric like this one.

@@reviewforthetube6485 and when it comes to drivers ... were not living in 2021, amd drivers have become way more stable. Regarding the benchmarks, that i did without any raytracing and utilizing other features.... well it was a rasterization benchmark. Since Fsr is constantly improving ... and will continue to not be exclusive like DLSS is to 4th gen, it is fair to say that AMD will also persue in that part. That is why i just sticked to Rasterization benchmarks then comparing a upscaling method that is not locked for a Generation and one that is non-exclusive. When it comes to Raytracing... that is another subject. The 7900 gre rivals even the 4070 ti (arround 700$) in rasterization but falls short in ray tracing to 4060. However its your call, if you want to buy a 4070 over a card that even rival the 4070 ti just for Ray tracing.
That is just my humbel opinion.

@@Teqnission well it isn't when even devs are leaning on nvidia. Like the newest star wars game reccomends people to use nvidia for there game. More devs will be doing this in the future also. They are leaning into dlss for there performance and want gamers to experience there games at the quality they want but also with the boost in performance with a good upscaler not amd. So just something to think about.
Like the latest star wars says you need a 4080 and dlss quality to even touch ultra settings. You need a 3080 or 4070 to reach high settings and need to use dlss quality to do that which means to hit even 60fps. So even drvs aren't going by raw native perfofmenace. They lean into anti aliasing also and things like dlaa mixed with dlss. Just something to think about with your tier lists when you do them. Peoppe done play nvidia and dlss but it's what even devs want you to use mo devs go hey please use fsr. They all want you to use the best quality you can to experience there game the way they wanted to see you do it.

@@Teqnission I disagree there drivers may be ok but they aren't good. Amd still has its stuttering that will seemingly never be fixed. In sitting here with a 4080 super with the smoothest cleanest amazing experience ever.
Again you can go oh you get 20 more fps with a gre over a 4070. But if it stutters more. Doesn't give you the same dlss experience or frame generation quality. Then what good is that 20 fps? When again even devs are wanting you to use dlss with things like a 4070 with dlss to be able to utilize there game optimally. Dlss makes the 4070 better then the gre that's just it. Catches it up on fps and still looks much better then the 7900gre when using fsr. Less ghosting, stuttering, trailing, less floaters and more.
If you arent utilizing these extra features then you arent comparing correctly imo. Especially when these features are a must to even hit high settings on
Games coming up and no the 7900gre raster won't be able to play them at the same level.
Would you rather play alan wake 2 at 30fps? Or would you rather ather get 50fps with upscaling? That's my point. These new games prove exactly what I'm saying.

@@reviewforthetube6485 That is because some companies prefer nVidia over Amd or Amd over nVidia. Its also the same reason why some Games run way better on amd rather then nVidia and the other way arround. Each game is optimized differently and for different platforms. And it is also worth considering that some companies just have partnership with nVidia or AMD .... so obviously there gona say something like that! Ever seen an nVidia or AMD logo at the Start of a Game?
