We have been going through a rough time financially and with the health of my daughter and myself. Things have been extremely hard and there is no end in signt. Take care of yourself and your family as that is all you can do. It is completely easier said than done. Praying for you all.
We have had a hard time lately, too. A move to a new place on short notice, expenses tripled, increased work hours here, too; my son needed surgery and now is rehabbing... all that to say that you arent alone and I will pray that the Lord sustains you. We may not be able to carry our burdens, but our Savior can. Praise God.
Dear Lord, please shower this family with your love, protection and strength to overcome the challenges they are dealing with. We KNOW and have the fatih that they WILL overcome and through your guidance and with your strength and constant presence in them, they will persevere and conquer! I can do all things in Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13 Thank you for sharing, Abbey.......you and your family WILL overcome..........stay strong, have faith, and His presence will allow you to conquer all! Love to you all...........
I’m a home educating mum & nurse from the UK. I’ve been watching your channel for a while & it’s helped me so much with ideas for our home education journey. Thank you so much for sharing this video with us. Life is certainly challenging at times. Sending positive thoughts & prayers from across the world x
Of course I will be praying for your family. Praying for protection over everyone, for your husband to find a job, for you to find rest and peace for your kiddos. Praying that going through all of this will bring you all closer together and stronger in your faith.❤ sending many hugs
Wow! I’m so sorry for all that you all are going through. So many prayers for you and your family. Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing. Definitely, family comes first. Take your time in posting anything and we will all be here for you when you’re back on.
I love and find so much value in your channel. I am so sorry for all that your family is going through and has gone through. Praying for you and your family, for your health, and for your safety. We had an issue recently with someone (a complete stranger we do not know) taking a photo of one of our daughters without our permission. I can somewhat relate to the fear and worry that comes with that. Take care of yourself and your family. We'll all be here when you come back.
I'm so sorry it's been hard, Abby. Don't rely on your strength to keep on keeping, but His. He is safe to trust and faithful in all circumstances. ❤❤️🙏
It is the worse feeling when somebody violates your home or privacy, I can only imagine how you feel that somebody was on your property taking a picture of your child. I've never in my life felt rage like I do when somebody is mean to or hurts my children. Praying for you and hoping things will soon get easier for you all.
Praying for you and your family, Abbey! You are such a blessing! To everything there is a season. Rest your whole weight in Jesus during this hard season of life. ❤
Our house was broken into when my daughter was 7. We weren't home, so that was good, but the intense emotions of feeling violated and unsafe were overwhelming. My nervous system was messed up for months. I totally understand how disruptive this kind of thing is. Please take some time to recover. If you need to dip into savings to give your nervous system a chance to recover, please do it. These things can snowball on you and become bigger health problems if you don't give yourself that gift. Much love to you. I really know how things can pile up. Praying for you.
I’m going through this right now myself. I have an ultrasound this Tuesday. It’s not my first mass or first ultrasound. I have fibrocystic disease so mine always feels lumpy and it’s not easy to know. I spent years overseas as well and no one seemed to care after my mammograms then I get back and now they’re alarmed. I’ve gained weight so I take heart that’s it’s not cancer with my weight gain😂 I’m hitting pre-menopause so a lot is happening. From what I understand my mother went through the same thing, hopefully there’s nothing to worry about, I’m not overly stressed. Just commented because you’re basically telling my story verbatim with the health issues. I’m sure we’ll be fine. ❤ (As a tip, I’ve been using some natural things as well as boosting vitamins, such as castor oil packs and evening primrose oils) Best to you guys, seems like a rough go with other things as well. I’ll keep a prayer for you guys on all these things, sometimes when it rains, it pours. 🙏 (I will add I have had some horrible ovarian cysts and evening primrose has been a life saver as far as taking them down)
Whether or not someone has it worse, doesn't nullify or lessen your feelings of what you are going through. They are valid, and you have been through one challenging things after another. So, you don't have to belittle how you feel just bc someone else may have it worse. I just wanted you to know that. ---> Will be keeping you and your family in prayer as you have so much ahead of you. Please make sure you take one day off a week... you HAVE to take care of yourself in the midst of taking care of everyone and everything else.
I am sorry for the stress and all the hours you feel you have to work for the household. And also I’m sorry that you feel responsible to keep everyone safe especially when the kids were home with their stepdad when that scary episode with the intruder happened. I’m glad everyone is safe! I hope your husband finds a better payed job and he can add more hours each week or weekends so you can have a less stressful role as a mom. As you mentioned, health is important. I enjoy your videos but I also feel the burden to say that you’re stretching yourself too thin. You seem to be taking all the burden on your shoulders for educating, safety, providing and a lot of projects. I admire you talents. But if we were sisters, I would say take care of yourself and try to reduce the projects and stress.
We live in a rural area. I 2019, at around 10:30 a.m., while I was away from home for a few hours getting groceries, someone drove from the road in front of our house to the back of our house, broke into a storage building we own, and stole thousands of dollars worth of our belongings. I felt so much fear and felt so violated. What if I had been home when they showed up? What if I had come home while they were in the process of robbing us? Would they return to break into our house or steal the little they left behind in the building? My son was 7 at the time and terrified. Only because our neighbors had a security camera and my husband sat for hours watching the footage from that day were we able to identify the vehicle that drove into our yard. The thieves were caught a month later. I cannot imagine if the whole thing had revolved around the violation of my child and their privacy. I'm so sorry this has happened to your family, and that there has been no justice. I will be praying for you.
Our house was broken into when my daughter was 7. Like you we weren't home. But we live in a city, and unfortunately there was not enough evidence to catch the guy who did it, but we were pretty sure it was the guy two houses down who had a drug problem. It was so hard to stay calm that whole year afterward until he moved out. These kinds of things can really rock your world, even when no one is physically hurt. Glad you all caught the guy! We have cameras and security all over the place now!
Wow. That's a lot for one family. Please try not to minimize your life events. They mean something to you and your family. They are your life experiences and those are some stressful situations. I think as healthcare workers, we are always giving empathy to others but never ourselves. What would you say to a friend who told you ALL those things happened to her? I'm hoping you would comfort her and realize she's going through a lot. Give that same grace to yourself. As a fellow nurse of 17 years, ICU Oncology, you are doing too much mama. I know you mentioned your husband's job change but you are on the road to major burnout. I'm sure your cortisol levels are through the roof. Something has got to give so you can protect yourself a bit more. I'll say a prayer for you and your family. I was going to say more but this is already so long!😂
This is scary…I’d make those videos of your home marked private now. The devil wants to rattle you…Gods got this..pray over your family and home..your kiddos are smart..so sorry
Bump up your vitamin D and the cofactors (zinc, magnesium, k2). I take the supplement from Dr. Berg (he has lots of videos here on youtube about Vitamin D). Vit D is so important for immune regulation, including cell destruction. Also implement intermittent fasting/keto diet to help your immune system as well. Cancer thrives on sugar, so a low sugar diet can counteract cancer cells. Decrease your stress... God bless you!
I actually was on a strict keto diet for almost 2 years and felt my best during that time. It was just a hard diet to stick to when you are also preparing food for the rest of the family. But I'm seriously considering going back to it. It would be a big adjustment to get used to the restrictions the first few weeks (I had horrible "keto flu" the first time) though I know my body would thank me for it.
Hugs and prayers! We all have those periods where it all seems to fall apart. We have all been there. You are not alone.
I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles. I will pray for you. God bless you, and I hope it gets easier really soon.

Hugs to you and your family. Our family has had a rough 2024 and we are frankly done with it. Here’s hoping to a happier, healthier 2025.

100% yes! Zero sugar/carb and intermittent fasting! Dr Boz (Annette Bosworth) book on helping her Mom through cancer is worth a read ❤
I didnt watch all the way through at first... when it rains, it pours... 😢I am sorry about the invasion of your privacy.

@mypracticallyimperfectlife yeah, I can't maintain strict keto... I intermittently fast as well.
