Después del uno MIL, si podrás decir Dos Mil, Tres Mil, Cuatro Mil y así sucesivamente. Se que es un poco complicado para una persona que su primer idioma es inglés, pero es como muchas de las reglas gramaticales que tiene el inglés. She explains in the video 3:34 that at first when saying 1,000, you say "un mil". The reason for the "un" is because 0 is next to 1 in 1,000. But it changes to just "mil" after there's a 1 next to it like the example she gave 1,101. Then it changes to "dos mil" 2,000, "tres mil" 3,000, and so on as she explains.
