For the human to bug soul thing, I have no clue
But for how he got the souls, he mostly killed and used like 3 totems, if you look down at the rooms you can see one just made out of bug corpses, so id say he killed a good 2000 bugs by looking at the room size

This is an oddly specific mix of characters with dark backstories in indie games. Not that I'm complaining, just something I noticed

This legit just made my day. Not only is it a genius combination of 3 fantastic boss themes, but it also combines them almost flawlessly. It also makes sense. It's not a "what if we put this song in a megalovania soundfont" situation. Whoever commissioned this, your a genius. Retro, your also a genius. Elon Musk, you are another genius among this world, but I will not be buying your cybertruck.

How I imagine this could play out:
All three attack at once, you have to lure the soul master to omega flowey to get a good hit, call for help, dodge the Snatcher's attacks, repeat, a soul or two gets out to help, repeat that but a bit more difficult, hat kid and Frisk (or just a determination soul) join in the fight and help, of which would help even it out, though the attacks would get tougher and faster. Soul master goes down first no matter what, than snatcher takes flowey down in an attempt to get more power and than snatcher is down for the count.
I have only played Hollow Knight, and heard of Undertale and A Hat in Time but I'll take your word for it. That actually sounds like a really cool battle.

Now all we need is a sequel:
“special hell” (Undertale x Touhou X Overture) (this is a Mix of Three Hellish tunes in a Dark, more Unholy setting, where as soullection is More frantic and freaky, special hell should be A more Chilling, more Ritual-style track)
Chara - Greetings (Their theme in the end of the genocide route, Could work as a Good Background Ambience)
Flandre - Death waltz (While the two songs flandre has are similar, death waltz is a remix... it would really work For the main Theme.)
Yuffle (this is a final boss I had planned for an indie Game that resembles games like xenoblade X and doom eternal) (the current design is “human chibiterasu”) - megalo strike back (this would work off as a Side-Theme to co-exist with death waltz, maybe add a Custom Drawcia laugh for Yuffle at the start of the track? We could use The Boss laugh for one of the touhou games for flandre, along with Chara’s Approaching demon noises too)

I love the concept behind this remix so much! These 3 bosses are all from really really good games and the music is amazing. but it is my humble opinion that this song would be 100x better (and be something i would actually add to my playlist) if it were simply more chill. You know, quieter, less chaotic, less repetitive synths all over the place. Now I understand that this may be a style thing or because the bosses are essentially chaotic, but I feel like I (and possibly others) would value a mashup song like this much more if it were more emotional and elegant. This concept is great, but I can't deny the fact that I was kinda let down when I realized it wasn't going to be *interesting*. There are a million songs out there with this style. So, in the most respectful way possible, I would like to let you know that this has some missed potential in my book. But don't worry about it really, if this is just the way you like to do things. Who am I to push you down for doing what you love? Have a great day!

If I had a nickel for everytime a video game had soul collecting bosses, small silent protagonists, an amazing score, awesome boss fights, and an amazing art style and character designs, I'd have three nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened three times.
