Totally agree. I had so many questions from seeing this. Why were they being dragged away? Why did the witch sound like Bigfoot? What was that giant light outside the house? This one relied way to much on what was seen rather than what wasn't like the original because with it being found footage, our questions won't be answered which makes me dislike this movie. 6.5/10 for me. .5 because the end at the house was nicely done-ish.

I don't do well with shaky cam movies so I got motion sickness the first 10 minutes in. Then it's mindless jumpscares then on. If a horror movie makes me physically sick, does it do its job?
Points well taken.....saw the first Blair Witch, it has plenty of creepy moments and was turned off by the second one based upon the movie preview. Like a lot of horror movies, one of the main mistakes is to attempt to give the same scare/ wow factor from the first one. I usually don't watch 2nd, 3rd, or beyond versions of horror movies due to that reason alone. Enjoyed this review, guys.

At first I didn't like the movie as much as I did after I thought about everything that happened so here: that forest is some fucked up dimension and they were trapped in it the moment they stepped foot. 2: Ashley, Peters gf, was going through a mind fuck thanks to the witch's curse, it was a bug that she pulled out. 3. The reason to the big footsteps; Laine/Lane said the witch was tortured and had big ass rocks hang from her arms and legs thus stretching her limbs. So the witch sounded like a big mofo because she was basically Slenderman. You see her run pass a camera for a split second.
