Amenoma Best T4 for ayaka, the damage difference between Blackcliff and Amenoma is very low, the passive of the amenoma is amazing with ayaka, you have it all the time, and the atk you gain makes up for the CD you lost.
Amenoma R5 is too good for ayaka. You can very easily get her Burst back. Yes you lose a little bit damage because no CD but the consistency it provides is almost irrplaceable
@@ShubhamkumarSK7 R5 Amenoma for me. Extra attack from secondary stat and passive make up for the lack of cd. Black cliff weapons gets weaker late game imo. I have all the black cliff weapons. I used them till AR 55. Now at AR 59, all of them are sitting in the bag un euipped because there are better alternatives. There are always exception tho.
@@monto3002 with welkin moon, you can get 150 primogems per day guaranteed. If you can double that amount from multiple other sources every day than yes.

I got Raiden in just 20 wishes and got Ayaka in just 25 wishes, winning my 3rd 50/50 in a row just after Zhongli... I'm still in total disbelief about this..🤗🤗 And I still have about 8k primos. ayaka and childe were the first characters i knew about when my friend told me about genshin, i wanted to pull for her but i was too late and joined on raiden's banner, but now, finally, shes home.
Jump cancelling with Ayaka is not worth it and ur just losing time (imo) dash cancelling is better but as an Ayaka main I really don't even consider it necessary, just alternate between NA and CA

Thank you for this! One note about Mona, you can turn her into a healer with Prototype Amber. Probably good enough for a freeze team, especially at R5. It's not like you are going to use those catalyst prototypes for anything else. Also want to give a shout out to the normal attack build - a very strong glad set and R5 Black sword is extremely convenient and strong enough to 36* with good supports. After dismal results from BS domain it is actually all I use her with.
I got her C1 on her original banner as my first five star to my remembering, and won the 50/50 to get her C2 today! May not have been the best decision but I am committed to one day getting C4 for her!
im running ayaka, mona with prototype amber/ttds (depends on whether theres corrosion or not), kazuha, and shenhe and it works really well. i use my kokomi in a tazer team (on field driver)
XingQiu is a pretty good hydro character with point blank hydro application with his Rainscreen. Usually you want Ayaka dash to hit enemy for the 18% cryo bonus and stamina refund. XingQiu E will automatically freezes enemies if you do this, making Ayaka have instant access to frozen state buff from 4-pc Blizzard Strayer for a long 15s uptime.
Yeah, I use him a lot, also use her with Mona that I just got now, but XQ orbital swords apply Constant hydro, you don't even need his Q most of the time... Of course that with his Q Ayaka things are just better
I'm really happy I won 50/50 and finally got her, I have her gear and team ready and come here just to celebrate and listen to IWTL's calming voice while experimenting in Abyss My luck has finally improved, I always lose 50/50 and only get my 5 star on soft pity until Raiden banner where I won 50/50 twice and I get double 5 star in 10 pull in the Venti banner. I was so pessimistic and scared for this banner but thank god I finally have all of the characters I ever wanted except for Kazuha and Diluc as I keep getting mona and Jean smh. Got her today and instantly lvl 90 her. Now her burst is crowned and I'm leveling her basic attacks and elemental skill to 6 for the time being and I'm gonna work on kokomi now
15:05 A reminder that this chart is assuming that you are using Blizzard and cryo resonance so 55% crit on frozen and 35 on a non frozen enemy but if you don't have any good Blizzard set or fighting again non freezable enemy like bosses, which appear often in the abyss then Emblem deal just as much if not more damage as Blizzard in that situation and you can use crit weapons such as jade or black sword etc I personally use Jade Cutter cuz I got it while trying to get Yae's bis (Mistsplitter is godly but all of the banner so far is paired with shit weapon on top of a possibility of getting non banner weapon, I would never gamble on any banner without 2 good weapon as even then you still have a chance of getting shit) and I have 230/85 ratio and emblem is a perfect pair for Jade cuz the passive is atk bonus while Emblem give a lot of burst damage bonus on top of ER, Blizzard is more fit for Mistplitter cuz of 40% damage bonus passive which clash with emblem, you would want a lot of atk and some ER as substat more than crit in Blizzard. My point is, more stat is better but you can have too much so try to keep the golden ratio to maximise DPS Anyway don't get pressured to get her BIS, you would need about 210 pull / 500 USD (or more?) in the worst case scenario if you have to get it through hard pity, weapon banner is a scam. You better off trying to get her C2 and using Kageuchi than Mistsplitter on C0 but hey, it's your gem so do as you see fit
This, Yes blizzard is her bis and it really is a strong artefact, but keep in mind that what make this artifact strong is it's 20-40% crit rate, so if you already fulfilled your crit rate needs with Jade cutter, then blizzard is not your bis anymore, instead use other artifact that can add something more to your damage, I personally use my leftover 2 shimenawa+2 gladiator, 23k atk, 76/235 crit for my new Ayaka and it works really well in abyss, so well that I don't think I need to farm blizzard anymore. Instead I can just keep farming in emblem domain for Raiden, xiangling, xingqiu, Beidou and rosaria. And if I get a good shimenawa, I can just give it to Ayaka, it's a win win situation.

good for you, she is a beast, just build F2P team like taser or national in the other chamber and you can breeze through abyss or most content in general I guess. My first 5 star is Jean, I love her but she is not a main DPS and I suffer a lot to 12 star abyss cuz I lack a second team for so long
I got her as the third 50 50 win in a row, was actually prepared mentally to get qiqi because i wanted to get ayaka so much and couldn't think i'd win the third 50 50 😅 she is great
If you are watching this, considering saving up for her next rerun, let this be your sign. Her ult damage is honestly ludicrous, with my highest ult damage being well over 2 million! Definitely worth the investment.
I’m actually really glad I for venti on the last banner because now I can run Ayaka, Mona, venti, and diona. It’s basically morgana except I subbed Ayaka for Ganyu. Idk I think it will be fun to play. It means I need to finally raise my diona though 💀
One thing you have failed to consider regarding artifact choices is that there are several other situations where blizzard set becomes unviable: 1. If you enjoy playing co op with Ayaka 2. If you like to play her in a non freeze team Co op is obvious, you can't decide what your team is gonna be, and more than likely, you won't be able to stick the cryo on enemies for the majority of the time, let alone freeze. You probably won't even have cryo resonance. There are so many times I have seen a 4 piece Blizzard ayaka coming in co op but literally misses crit every hit. Ayaka in a non freeze team would be something like a burst melt support for a pyro DPS. In those teams, Blizzard is once again useless since pyro will be on the enemies most of the time. So for people who plan to play her considerably in situations mentioned above, unless you want to farm 2 sets of artifacts for her, it is actually recommended to use a generalist build like 2 Blizzard and 2 Atk percent
I would not use ayaka without blizzard 4pc, she becomes a lot weaker. The only exception is jade cutter ayaka, with 2blizzard 2 atk percent she does the same(but not more) damage as freeze ayaka(I ran the calculations with 100% cr 250% cd stats). If you don't have the jade cutter, generalist ayaka falls off significantly and is not worth it when compared to other dps options, in my opinion.
@@twothreeoneoneseventwoonefour5 also playing without freeze makes it much more difficult to ensure enemies don't get out of your burst. You'd probably only want burst support Ayaka if you have a really cracked Hu Tao or against non-freezable enemies and you're enabling your other characters
I got really close to pity before her so I could get her. Then I pulled Jean in singlepulls and felt like shit, then a friend told me to dumb all in and actually in my very next 10-pull I got her. Best moment this Year so far ^~^
I’ve had abysmal luck in 2022. Lost every 50/50 so far on Shenhe, Yae, and Raiden (for attempted C2). Thankfully that meant I was guaranteed for Ayaka. But I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve been to soft pity for Shenhe, Yae, and Ayaka. The Gacha luck is not with me these days… but glad you got her as well!

It's her c6 indicator when her hand glow, c6 is ready to proc additional dmg with her CA (and i think her CA with c6 also drops sakura petals, as visual gimmick)
I feel like you should have mentioned using different artifacts when talking about rate weapons and the overcrit problem. Pretty sure if you use any of those weapons, you start moving towards 2pc Blizzard and 2pc ATK 18% set.
It is never worth it to run 2pc blizzard 2pc atk 18% over 4 piece blizzard for Ayaka. 40% crit rate(rather easy condition too) vs 18 atk% is way too big of a stat drop, average damage will never be comparable. Only cryo character with super high melt potential can even consider 2pc blizzard 2pc atk18%.
Jade Cutter makes you overcap by 4.1%, and that's assuming you have zero rate substats and are using resonance & 4 Blizzard. For the other rate weapons, it's not as extreme, but I'd definitely move to an ATK 2pc, especially since Jade Cutter has a low base attack. Plus if you're still using resonance, you'd be at 64.1 rate with no subs, and that's still pretty okay since you'll probably be shooting for 200 crit damage at the very least. That's just my opinion though since I don't use any calculators to see if this actually works out the way I think it does.
@@DanmakuMaster Like I said, the stat drop is way too big. Even with 4.1% of wasted crit rate, 35.9% crit rate far out weights 18% atk, even with diminishing returns taken in mind. For 200% crit damage, 64.1% crit rate to 100% crit rate is about 30% increase in overall damage. 18% atk will not give anywhere close to a 30% increase.
I literally just tested it. Granted, I will admit I only tested N1. But if you are using Jade Cutter, you get more damage out of 2pc Blizzard and 2pc ATK. I'm not gonna test everything because I'm not good at this sort of thing, but I'll stand by my original statement in regards to using a rate weapon on her. Now if we're talking Mistsplitter, 4pc Blizzard is 100% the way to go.

Really depends on what you need or want for your account. If you need Ayaka to do more dmg then c2 is worth it. but if you want (or need) another hydro character who might apply hydro off field then you go for that. Her kit will be revealed on the livestream before ayakas banner ends so you could choose then also. or if you wanna flex ayaka's dmg c2 is definitely worth it lol. if anything you can always get yelan on a rerun.
If you have mona or kokomi already then don't, if not well she IS pretty much another Xingqiu which is great. It's like having 2 Xingqiu, so she would be a GREAT investment imo. And if you're like me who also has Hu Tao and only have Xingqiu as a reliable hydro applicator which makes it impossible to have Ayaka on team 1 and Hu Tao on team 2 in spiral abyss then go ahead
i had a really bad day today, but in afternoon when i was playing genshin impact i got ayaka in 1 pull, i had 23 pity and it was my 50/50. i am really happy now☺

Had ayaka since 2.0, I lost the 50/50 on the first mistsplitter banner and got a skyward blade. I saved up 12k primogems for the mistsplitter rerun and got the unforged... This game truly is unforgiving sometimes
I disagree with the overcrit thing on weapons, the extra crit helps a lot against enemies that only can be cryoed and when the blizz set only gives extra 20% crit. Also for the average player, those crit rate weapons are a blessing when building the artifact set, because you only need to focus on crit dmg substats and you can use artis that doesnt have crit rate. It makes arti farming for her so much less painful. Maybe for a mega whale who resin refreshes every day to farm the perfect artifact set and want to min max the shit out of the game, this overcrit is a bad thing, but for everyone else its actually good.
I pulled kokomi and shenhe just to build my team around ayaka. I got her on her banner and i wasn't disappointed. I'm trying to get c2 and mistsplitter now
Would have been nice to see a mention of Ganyu as the 2nd cryo. IIRC, the team with Ganyu performs better against groups than Shenhe, with the stasis point at around ~3 enemies.
I initially stopped playing when Inazuma came out then came back just 8 days left on Ei rerun. So this is my first time pulling for her if possible because I got her brother so I hope I win 50/50 this time *I got her. I hope I could get her weapon next 🤞
Ayaka is my favorite character so from the get go I knew I wanted to max her out. Her last banner I got her to C3R1, and I just now got her to C6! I got pretty lucky with both of my summon sessions

In some situations (high base atk weapon, less atk buffs, more dmg buffs), an atk circlet might actually be better than a crit dmg circlet, depending on your substats.
but generally its better to focus on getting a crit dmg circlet. My Ayaka with Mistsplitter has 254 crit dmg and 2240 atk with crit dmg circlet and 91% crit rate on frozen enemies. I recommend using Genshin Optimizer and let it make the best setup. Its a very powerful tool especially when building the perfect setup for a character
@@DarkFuryKH Agreed with your point about GO, I personally use it too! General guide videos like this are still a great starting point though, if you aren't sure about suitable weapons or which artifact sets to farm.
Is it worth it to run blizzard when using jade cutter? With that + cryo res I’m already running around 60 cr. Throw in artifacts and im around 87-90 cr.
i gave kageuchi to ayato cuz of asthetics. ayaka came yesterday ,but since she needs it more than ayato,i gave it to her with a lot of pain :') ayato is now left with bp sword,may give him the harbinger once it s maxed but it has a low base atk unfortunately
I'm f2p and got really lucky to get mistsplitter first pity at 68. For ayaka i just built up her pity from the previous banners and got her at like 78 guaranteed. Now I will be happy with whatever mhy give me lol
Got her yesterday 4th pity on character banner after lost to 90th pull for Keqing. Then ascended her to lvl20 and got a free standard pull luckily it was Keqing C1. Hard to save primo when there is no event so I only manage to pull one everyday (comms)

Jump cancel is hard and not worth it..dash cancel is so much better + it refunds stamina and reapplies cryo infusion

My luck has finally improved, I always lose 50/50 and only get my 5 star on soft pity until Raiden banner where I won 50/50 twice and I get double 5 star in 10 pull in the Venti banner. I was so pessimistic and scared for this banner but thank god I finally have all of the characters I ever wanted except for Kazuha and Diluc as I keep getting mona and Jean smh.

Got her today and instantly lvl 90 her. Now her burst is crowned and I'm leveling her basic attacks and elemental skill to 6 for the time being and I'm gonna work on kokomi now

15:05 A reminder that this chart is assuming that you are using Blizzard and cryo resonance so 55% crit on frozen and 35 on a non frozen enemy but if you don't have any good Blizzard set or fighting again non freezable enemy like bosses, which appear often in the abyss then Emblem deal just as much if not more damage as Blizzard in that situation and you can use crit weapons such as jade or black sword etc
I personally use Jade Cutter cuz I got it while trying to get Yae's bis (Mistsplitter is godly but all of the banner so far is paired with shit weapon on top of a possibility of getting non banner weapon, I would never gamble on any banner without 2 good weapon as even then you still have a chance of getting shit) and I have 230/85 ratio and emblem is a perfect pair for Jade cuz the passive is atk bonus while Emblem give a lot of burst damage bonus on top of ER, Blizzard is more fit for Mistplitter cuz of 40% damage bonus passive which clash with emblem, you would want a lot of atk and some ER as substat more than crit in Blizzard.
My point is, more stat is better but you can have too much so try to keep the golden ratio to maximise DPS
Anyway don't get pressured to get her BIS, you would need about 210 pull / 500 USD (or more?) in the worst case scenario if you have to get it through hard pity, weapon banner is a scam. You better off trying to get her C2 and using Kageuchi than Mistsplitter on C0 but hey, it's your gem so do as you see fit

Yes blizzard is her bis and it really is a strong artefact, but keep in mind that what make this artifact strong is it's 20-40% crit rate, so if you already fulfilled your crit rate needs with Jade cutter, then blizzard is not your bis anymore, instead use other artifact that can add something more to your damage,
I personally use my leftover 2 shimenawa+2 gladiator, 23k atk, 76/235 crit for my new Ayaka and it works really well in abyss, so well that I don't think I need to farm blizzard anymore.
Instead I can just keep farming in emblem domain for Raiden, xiangling, xingqiu, Beidou and rosaria. And if I get a good shimenawa, I can just give it to Ayaka, it's a win win situation.
If you over crit you can focus on atk% and crit dmg substats rather than crit rate and crit dmg
Shenhe completely vindicated my choice to C6 Ayaka. The combo is SO satisfying!

good for you, she is a beast, just build F2P team like taser or national in the other chamber and you can breeze through abyss or most content in general I guess. My first 5 star is Jean, I love her but she is not a main DPS and I suffer a lot to 12 star abyss cuz I lack a second team for so long

Her ult damage is honestly ludicrous, with my highest ult damage being well over 2 million! Definitely worth the investment.
I’m actually really glad I for venti on the last banner because now I can run Ayaka, Mona, venti, and diona. It’s basically morgana except I subbed Ayaka for Ganyu. Idk I think it will be fun to play. It means I need to finally raise my diona though 💀
I didn’t have primos because i spent all of them on venti (and didn't get him) but when i finished a domain i had enough to pull once and i got her 😭
One thing you have failed to consider regarding artifact choices is that there are several other situations where blizzard set becomes unviable:
1. If you enjoy playing co op with Ayaka
2. If you like to play her in a non freeze team
Co op is obvious, you can't decide what your team is gonna be, and more than likely, you won't be able to stick the cryo on enemies for the majority of the time, let alone freeze. You probably won't even have cryo resonance. There are so many times I have seen a 4 piece Blizzard ayaka coming in co op but literally misses crit every hit.
Ayaka in a non freeze team would be something like a burst melt support for a pyro DPS. In those teams, Blizzard is once again useless since pyro will be on the enemies most of the time.
So for people who plan to play her considerably in situations mentioned above, unless you want to farm 2 sets of artifacts for her, it is actually recommended to use a generalist build like 2 Blizzard and 2 Atk percent
Blizzard for freeze ayaka only, freeze is broken tho
I would not use ayaka without blizzard 4pc, she becomes a lot weaker.
The only exception is jade cutter ayaka, with 2blizzard 2 atk percent she does the same(but not more) damage as freeze ayaka(I ran the calculations with 100% cr 250% cd stats). If you don't have the jade cutter, generalist ayaka falls off significantly and is not worth it when compared to other dps options, in my opinion.
@@twothreeoneoneseventwoonefour5 also playing without freeze makes it much more difficult to ensure enemies don't get out of your burst. You'd probably only want burst support Ayaka if you have a really cracked Hu Tao or against non-freezable enemies and you're enabling your other characters
When I play Ayaka in coop, I either switch to Crit Rate weapon or Crit Rate circlet.
If you have a good build, you can still maintain ~75% crit if you can maintain cryo application.
Generally, I've found that you don't have to bother
I saved around 200 pulls just for Mistsplitter, but the game also gave me two constellations. Luckiest pulls of my life.

I’ve had abysmal luck in 2022. Lost every 50/50 so far on Shenhe, Yae, and Raiden (for attempted C2). Thankfully that meant I was guaranteed for Ayaka. But I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve been to soft pity for Shenhe, Yae, and Ayaka. The Gacha luck is not with me these days… but glad you got her as well!

It's her c6 indicator when her hand glow, c6 is ready to proc additional dmg with her CA (and i think her CA with c6 also drops sakura petals, as visual gimmick)

I feel like you should have mentioned using different artifacts when talking about rate weapons and the overcrit problem. Pretty sure if you use any of those weapons, you start moving towards 2pc Blizzard and 2pc ATK 18% set.
It is never worth it to run 2pc blizzard 2pc atk 18% over 4 piece blizzard for Ayaka. 40% crit rate(rather easy condition too) vs 18 atk% is way too big of a stat drop, average damage will never be comparable. Only cryo character with super high melt potential can even consider 2pc blizzard 2pc atk18%.
Jade Cutter makes you overcap by 4.1%, and that's assuming you have zero rate substats and are using resonance & 4 Blizzard. For the other rate weapons, it's not as extreme, but I'd definitely move to an ATK 2pc, especially since Jade Cutter has a low base attack. Plus if you're still using resonance, you'd be at 64.1 rate with no subs, and that's still pretty okay since you'll probably be shooting for 200 crit damage at the very least. That's just my opinion though since I don't use any calculators to see if this actually works out the way I think it does.
@@DanmakuMaster Like I said, the stat drop is way too big. Even with 4.1% of wasted crit rate, 35.9% crit rate far out weights 18% atk, even with diminishing returns taken in mind. For 200% crit damage, 64.1% crit rate to 100% crit rate is about 30% increase in overall damage. 18% atk will not give anywhere close to a 30% increase.
I literally just tested it. Granted, I will admit I only tested N1. But if you are using Jade Cutter, you get more damage out of 2pc Blizzard and 2pc ATK. I'm not gonna test everything because I'm not good at this sort of thing, but I'll stand by my original statement in regards to using a rate weapon on her. Now if we're talking Mistsplitter, 4pc Blizzard is 100% the way to go.

C2 Ayaka easily, yelan is a sub DPS, still on the works + she got nerfed in beta if I heard correctly
Really depends on what you need or want for your account. If you need Ayaka to do more dmg then c2 is worth it. but if you want (or need) another hydro character who might apply hydro off field then you go for that. Her kit will be revealed on the livestream before ayakas banner ends so you could choose then also.
or if you wanna flex ayaka's dmg c2 is definitely worth it lol.
if anything you can always get yelan on a rerun.
if u have national team and ayaka freeze team already, u rlly dont need yelan imo. shes still strong imo and provides flexibility for ur teams.
If you have mona or kokomi already then don't, if not well she IS pretty much another Xingqiu which is great. It's like having 2 Xingqiu, so she would be a GREAT investment imo. And if you're like me who also has Hu Tao and only have Xingqiu as a reliable hydro applicator which makes it impossible to have Ayaka on team 1 and Hu Tao on team 2 in spiral abyss then go ahead

Had ayaka since 2.0, I lost the 50/50 on the first mistsplitter banner and got a skyward blade. I saved up 12k primogems for the mistsplitter rerun and got the unforged... This game truly is unforgiving sometimes
I disagree with the overcrit thing on weapons, the extra crit helps a lot against enemies that only can be cryoed and when the blizz set only gives extra 20% crit. Also for the average player, those crit rate weapons are a blessing when building the artifact set, because you only need to focus on crit dmg substats and you can use artis that doesnt have crit rate. It makes arti farming for her so much less painful.
Maybe for a mega whale who resin refreshes every day to farm the perfect artifact set and want to min max the shit out of the game, this overcrit is a bad thing, but for everyone else its actually good.

I pulled kokomi and shenhe just to build my team around ayaka. I got her on her banner and i wasn't disappointed. I'm trying to get c2 and mistsplitter now

Would have been nice to see a mention of Ganyu as the 2nd cryo. IIRC, the team with Ganyu performs better against groups than Shenhe, with the stasis point at around ~3 enemies.

Ayaka is my favorite character so from the get go I knew I wanted to max her out. Her last banner I got her to C3R1, and I just now got her to C6! I got pretty lucky with both of my summon sessions

In some situations (high base atk weapon, less atk buffs, more dmg buffs), an atk circlet might actually be better than a crit dmg circlet, depending on your substats.
In this scenario it's not better. Just barely equal (if it also has atleast 20 CD as a sub-stat)
but generally its better to focus on getting a crit dmg circlet. My Ayaka with Mistsplitter has 254 crit dmg and 2240 atk with crit dmg circlet and 91% crit rate on frozen enemies.
I recommend using Genshin Optimizer and let it make the best setup. Its a very powerful tool especially when building the perfect setup for a character

Is it worth it to run blizzard when using jade cutter? With that + cryo res I’m already running around 60 cr. Throw in artifacts and im around 87-90 cr.

I'm f2p and got really lucky to get mistsplitter first pity at 68. For ayaka i just built up her pity from the previous banners and got her at like 78 guaranteed. Now I will be happy with whatever mhy give me lol

Got her yesterday 4th pity on character banner after lost to 90th pull for Keqing. Then ascended her to lvl20 and got a free standard pull luckily it was Keqing C1. Hard to save primo when there is no event so I only manage to pull one everyday (comms)
